President Biden thought the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) was alive Wednesday because she was “top of mind” for him as he prepares to meet her family Friday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed to the incredulity of the press corps. The Biden administration’s regular briefing later devolved into chaos as reporters pressed Jean-Pierre to address the 79-year-old president’s mental health. Biden made the gaffe earlier Wednesday at a nutrition event in Washington, saying, “Jackie — are you here? Where’s Jackie?” despite the fact that he publicly mourned Walorski’s death in a car crash last month — and even...

Sweden's security service (SAPO) said Wednesday that it would investigate unexplained explosions and leaks on the Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic Sea, calling them "aggravated sabotage." SAPO was taking over the investigation from police because "it could relate to a serious crime that could at least in part be directed at Swedish interests,". The intelligence agency added "it couldn't be ruled out that a foreign power is behind it". In separate statements, SAPO and the Swedish Prosecution Authority said the investigation was currently being directed at potential "aggravated sabotage." ... Danish police have also launched an investigation into the...

I can’t say whether the Washington Post is just fond of listicles or whether they are trying to provide some cover for the Democrats, but they actually had the gall to publish an article that tries to convince us that the current recession is going to actually be good for us. The article is written by Michelle Singletary, who writes the nationally syndicated personal finance column “The Color of Money,” which appears in The Washington Post on Wednesdays and Sundays.I am not going to waste your time duplicating all the arguments–after all, you should always check out the source material...

It was worse than we thought. It turns out that Hunter Biden’s drug enslavement, sex addiction, and penchant for Russkie hookers didn’t stop there. It was probably worse than his hinky “big guy” business deals, diamond “gifts,” and unearned Ukrainian paydays. There was a Chinese spy involved. Just like Democrat Eric Swalwell’s Fang Fang. Hold on, I’ve got to catch my breath. Be honest: You thought it would be that Putin inserted, so to speak, hookers who would double back and sting the first son. But those chickens haven’t come home to roost — at least as far as we...

The Washington Post is leading tonight with a piece about how Biden is warning Russia not to use battlefield nukes in Ukraine. … Gosh, you think?! My God. Is there nobody eager to step in and try to get Ukraine and Russia to the peace table? It's good that Russia got its nose bloodied hard, but can we please put a stop to this before it gets out of hand? At the UN yesterday, Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said that unnamed Western countries that are militarily backing Ukraine -- that would include the United States -- are seen by...

TORONTO — When Aaron Judge hit his 60th homer of the season on Sept. 20 to tie Babe Ruth’s magic number, it seemed Judge would match Roger Maris’ No. 61 at any minute. Instead, it took eight more games, and two countries, along with Judge enduring his second-longest home run drought of the year- before the slugger finally tied the American League and franchise record on Wednesday night. Judge’s historic smash in Toronto came against the Blue Jays’ Tim Mayza on a 3-2 pitch in the top of the seventh inning. The two-run shot put the Yankees in front, 5-3,...

CNN compares Italy's new prime minister to WWII Fascist Mussolini (Credit: CNN/Media Research Center)In this episode of Try to Control Your Shock and Amazement…As RedState reported on Sunday, a coalition of right-wing parties was swept into power in Italy, with Giorgia Meloni set to become the nation’s first female prime minister. Rather than focus on that significant fact, much of the “mainstream” U.S. media compared her and her party to fascists (sound familiar?), with CNN predictably running a chyron likening Meloni to Benito Mussolini. Before we get to CNN, let’s first check in with a few other legacy media stalwarts.ABC News...

Thank You, U.S.A.’: Why Is Poland’s EU Rep Cheering Nord Stream’s Potential Sabotage? MICAELA BURROW REPORTER September 27, 2022 One Polish official appeared to cheer the suspected sabotage on the Nord Stream gas pipelines Tuesday as his country celebrated the completion of its own northern pipeline project. European Parliament representative for Poland Radek Sikorski said “Thank you, U.S.A.!” in a tweet Thursday as European Union officials traveled to Goleniów, Poland, to inaugurate their own pipeline project. The partially EU-funded Baltic Pipe project will bring Norwegian natural gas to Poland through Denmark, and simultaneously create an export market for Poland in...

Watch the video above to see my most recent interview with Greg Hunter of USA Watchdog. Commentary from Greg Hunter: Legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong says nothing is going to get better by the end of 2022, and he is still forecasting “chaos” coming in 2023. Armstrong says the plunge in the stock market last week is all because of “extreme uncertainty.” Armstrong predicted a stock market crash two months ago and contends, “It’s not over.” Europe is in big financial trouble with Russian natural gas turned off as a retaliation from the sanctions. Armstrong explains, “In...

No matter how much trouble you think Democrats are in, you are likely underestimating their peril. Ed wrote a great piece on the ABC/Washington Post poll earlier this weekend, https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2022/09/25/wapo-abc-poll-gop-holds-edge-on-generic-ballot-and-wide-leads-on-top-issues-n498887 and I thought I would expand on it with my own thoughts. Because I am arrogant like that. If you pay attention to head to head matchup polls the Democrats look like they might remain competitive in battleground districts. Republicans appear to be struggling in some key senate races, and Republican partisans are either secretly or openly nervous that the Republican wave predicted earlier this year will be reduced on...

Amanda Rose Barnes insisted she acted in self-defense after the pooch growled at herA Montana woman who shot and skinned a Siberian husky she mistook for a wolf on a hunting trip, and then posted the gruesome pictures on social media, has sparked public outrage – and a police investigation. Amber Rose Barnes, 36, of Martin City, faced swift backlash after she bragged about the kill on Facebook. "So this morning I set out for a solo predator hunt for a fall black bear however I got the opportunity to take another predator wolf pup 2022 was a great feeling...

The State Department on Thursday unequivocally warned that if Russia invades Ukraine the Nord Stream 2 pipeline will sit unused at the bottom of the ocean. The controversial pipeline has become the U.S. and NATO’s biggest bargaining chip in its attempts to preserve Kyiv’s sovereignty. But reporters questioned the diplomatic agency on whether Germany, which would profit from the functioning pipeline, is on the same page when it comes to countering a Russian incursion. "We continue to have strong, clear communication with our German allies," Under Secretary for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said. "If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or...

LONDON — Lines at neighboring borders and protests are just some of the scenes in Russia following President Vladimir Putin’s call for partial military mobilization. Last week, Putin ordered up to 300,000 Russians to serve in the invasion of Ukraine that began in February. Since then, thousands of citizens have fled the country to bordering nations, including Georgia and Mongolia. A satellite image of the Russia-Georgia border taken on Tuesday shows a multitude of cars and people waiting at the crossing. According to Russian state news outlet Tass, more than 5,000 cars had created the traffic jam, which was up...

President Biden delivered an address at the first White House conference on hunger since 1969 today. (The White House transcript has not yet been posted.) My impression is that childhood obesity is a bigger problem than childhood hunger and that however big the problem of childhood hunger is, a lack of government spending devoted to it is not the problem. Some redefinition of the problem as one of “food insecurity” is required to turn up the spigot. At the conference Biden thanked “bipartisan elected officials” including Rep. Jim McGovern and Senator Cory Booker before seeking to acknowledge Rep. Jackie Walorski,...

Arnold Schwarzenegger visited Auschwitz where he said it's time to "terminate" hatred. While the message is one surely people can get behind, some seemed to be more interested in how he signed the guestbook. Schwarzenegger, who received the inaugural Award for Fighting Hatred from the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation earlier this year, gave a speech alongside chairman Simon Bergson on Wednesday as a symbol of how generations can change. Both Schwarzenegger and Bergson were born in Austria, the latter born after the war as his parents survived the Auschwitz Nazi death camp. "I was the son of a man that...

Marjorie Taylor Greene's husband is filing for divorce from the controversial 48-year-old Georgia Republican congresswoman. Her husband, Perry Greene, filed for a formal split on Tuesday after nearly three decades of marriage - and just weeks before November's midterm elections. The pair were married in August 1995, whilst Greene was still a student at the University of Georgia. The couple had three children together, all of who are now adults. Although the divorce documents do not reveal explicitly what led to the couple's split, Perry Greene states that the pair had separated in the past. He also asks for the...

Earth is “well-hidden” to extraterrestrial observers using photometric microlensing to hunt for habitable planets that might support life, an international team of researchers has concluded. The findings could also help to narrow down the best areas of the galaxy to target in our own searches for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI). When looking for potentially inhabited planets beyond the solar system, astronomers have a variety of tools at their disposal. As it stands, by far the most successful of these has been the transit technique, which has made about 75% of all the exoplanet discoveries so far. This approach involves watching for...
