We’re one more day until the primary hammer is about to fall on Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and we can throw our “Buh-bye” party. In the last poll from the University of Wyoming, she’s down about 30 points to her opponent, Harriet Hageman. She’s down to pleading with Democrats to crossover to vote for her and save her. But even if they were so inclined, there aren’t enough Democrats in Wyoming to save her. However, she did get the all-important disgraced former senator, Al Franken endorsement. So I’m sure that will help her. But part of her problem is she’s...

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." "And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost." John, Chapter 1 1 In...

Seeking to advertise the economic value of political fealty to Beijing, the Chinese Communist Party rewarded Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Monday. In an editorial, Beijing’s state media Global Times newspaper congratulated Hungary over a major new construction project. It proclaimed that "China’s biggest electric vehicle battery maker," Contemporary Amperex Technology, is to build a $7.5 billion battery plant in Hungary. In return for his political support for China in European Union and NATO policy meetings, and his silence over Chinese human rights and militarism, Orban has earned China’s economic patronage. The Global Times is not terribly subtle about...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department on Monday rebuffed efforts to make public the affidavit supporting the search warrant for former President Donald Trump’s estate in Florida, saying the investigation “implicates highly classified material” and the document contains sensitive information about witnesses. The government’s opposition came in response to court filings by several news organizations, including The Associated Press, seeking to unseal the underlying affidavit the Justice Department submitted when it asked for the warrant to search Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate earlier this month. The court filing — from Juan Antonio Gonzalez, the U.S. attorney in Miami, and Jay Bratt, a...

Two of the most high-profile Republicans who have stood up to former President Donald Trump’s false claims of election fraud are facing the voters on Aug. 16. And while one of them will almost certainly survive, the other is probably going to lose. Out of the seven Republican senators who voted to convict Trump for his role in the Jan. 6 riot, only one is also running for reelection this year: Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski. And she’s virtually guaranteed to make it to the November ballot — but not necessarily because Alaskans agree with her criticism of “Stop the Steal.”...

Ray Epps, an Arizona man who has been the focus of conspiracy theories that federal agents plotted the Jan. 6 riot, reportedly told the FBI that he expected a bomb to go off near the U.S. Capitol during the preceding "Stop the Steal" rally. Epps acknowledged during two FBI interviews last year, which were reviewed by The Epoch Times, that he trespassed on restricted Capitol grounds and urged other protesters to enter the building The FBI has never arrested Epps, despite the confessions, nor has the Justice Department charge him with any Jan. 6-related crimes.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee is canceling $10 million worth of fall advertising reservations in Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin — three states at the center of the GOP’s push to regain control of Congress. The New York Times, which reported the news on Monday, notes Republicans have been struggling to raise money as of late, as well as that the decision to pull ads for some of its top candidates could be tied to the party’s financial troubles. The NRSC has cut the most money, $5 million, in Pennsylvania, where quack TV doctor Mehmet Oz is taking on Lt. Governor...

CNN anchor Jim Acosta grilled Andrew Yang, former Democratic presidential candidate, about the platform of his newly formed political party, the Forward Party. Last month, in collaboration with the former Republican congressman from Florida David Jolly and former Republican Governor of New Jersey Christine Todd Whitman, Yang announced the formation of the Forward Party in an op-ed published in the Washington Post.

Trump is going to cost us the senate again. https://t.co/dAkvxbueNZ— Marc Thiessen 🆓🇺🇦 (@marcthiessen) August 15, 2022Really? And was has McConnell done? He blamed the Tea Party in 2010. What is McConnell’s message, around which GOP Senate candidates are encouraged to campaign? There is none. He does control the NRSC, doesn’t he? https://t.co/kpiOPrFvmZ— Mark R. Epps admitted to trespassing, directing protesters to go into the Capitol. ‘I wish I could take that back,’ he told agents. By Joseph M. Hanneman When James Ray Epps Sr. first called the FBI regarding his January 2021 activities in Washington D.C., he didn’t mention how he implored protesters in several locations to go inside the Capitol, but he later told an agent that he expected a bomb would detonate on a side street near the Capitol. Those are just two of the revelations in a collection of Epps-related material obtained by The Epoch Times, including FBI interview summaries, FBI...

..... The most recent round of talks concluded last week, as the parties closed a final text and key negotiators prepared to consult with their capitals. Those talks took place following a proposal submitted on July 26 by EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell. The US described the tabled draft as “the best and only basis on which to reach a deal.” On Friday, an Iranian official indicated that the Islamic Republic may accept the final compromise worked out in Vienna to save the 2015 nuclear agreement. "The European Union's proposals are acceptable provided that they provide assurances to Iran...

If you think Antifa are not operating in large numbers in Texas, you are sadly incorrect. I’m a 22-year-old from Denton, Texas and an unapologetic conservative activist. I spent much of my time at the University of North Texas, from which I just graduated, leading its main conservative student group, the Young Conservatives of Texas. And for that, Antifa and the far-left here have sought to intimidate me into silence by doxxing me and my family, and threatening me with violence and even death. My first experience with far-left extremists from the Dallas-Fort Worth area was during my senior year...
