The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) would love to find a new boogie man virus to keep us locked down in November, perhaps to avoid the behind-the-shed beating Democrats know is coming. The question is, which virus will it be?We have two contenders for now, though I wouldn’t be shocked if the CDC and their comrades at the WHO can witch-brew up a few more in the next ten weeks.Contender #1: MonkeypoxThe left went all-in on monkeypox to scare the bejeezus out of us but then had to hit the Bat ‘chute when they realized it was primarily affecting gay...

If someone proposes a solution to an "existential problem" that has no chance of success, should we be forced to take the problem seriously? If the climate alarmists truly believe there is a climate emergency, then they should be able to answer the first basic question about "the plan." Are the numbers in the plan even remotely achievable? Remember: based on their screeching, we have only twelve years before we all die from "man-made climate change." To answer that question, let's break part of the plan into the most basic math problem: can we replace 25%, 50%, or 75% of...

Doctors have reported the first confirmed case of monkeypox that spread to a dog, potentially through its owners, a gay couple, calling into question whether pets should be isolated from owners diagnosed with the virus. According to medical journal The Lancet, on June 10, 2022, two men went to Pitie-Salpetriere Hospital, in Paris, France, with the men complaining of anal ulcerations and rashes...

The agency now believes we should be taking an individual approach to mitigating our COVID risk. In layman’s terms, we are all Florida 2020 now. ... The fresh guidance says people without symptoms no longer need to be routinely tested. And the CDC permits us to come within six feet of each other again ... the agency has finally faced some truths about the vaccine that it should have long ago. “CDC’s COVID-19 prevention recommendations no longer differentiate based on a person’s vaccination status...

. "Just as the AR-15 rifle has become a sacred object for Christian nationalists in general, the rosary has acquired a militaristic meaning for radical-traditional (or ‘rad trad’) Catholics," Panneton claimed in the Sunday piece titled, "How the Rosary Became an Extremist Symbol." He added, "On this extremist fringe, rosary beads have been woven into a conspiratorial politics and absolutist gun culture. These armed radical traditionalists have taken up a spiritual notion that the rosary can be a weapon in the fight against evil and turned it into something dangerously literal." https://www.foxnews.com/media/atlantic-op-ed-claims-catholic-rosary-become-extremist-symbol.amp

ABC News anchor Jon Karl pressed top White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre on Sunday over whether it was “Orwellian” to refer to a Democrat-backed spending bill as the “Inflation Reduction Act.” Karl noted recent analysis from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office. Despite its legislation’s branding, the CBO found recently passed bill would have a “negligible” impact on inflation this year and next. “Isn’t it almost Orwellian?” Karl said. “How can you call it the Inflation Reduction Act when the nonpartisan experts say it’s not going to bring it down?”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken accused Iran of inciting the knife attack on “The Satanic Verses” author Salman Rushdie, blasting the regime as “despicable” Sunday. Blinken lauded Rushdie, 75, as more than a “literary giant.” The author has “consistently stood up for the universal rights of freedom of expression, freedom of religion or belief, and freedom of the press,” the secretary of state said in a statement released on Sunday. “While law enforcement officials continue to investigate the attack, I am reminded of the pernicious forces that seek to undermine these rights, including through hate speech and incitement to violence,”...

A post that dared to accurately point out that an Internal Revenue Service job posting required a willingness to use “deadly force” apparently triggered Facebook’s leftist fact-checking partners. Both Meta companies Facebook and Instagram slapped The Heritage Foundation with a “Missing Context” label for posts that read: “ICYMI: ‘Be willing to use deadly force if necessary’ (The IRS edited this job listing yesterday).” An archived IRS article indicates that a job listing for “special agents” within the Criminal Investigation branch of the agency did in fact say that “major duties” required agents to “[c]arry a firearm and be willing to...

I suggest; When the Conservatives overwhelmingly take control of the political United States, and they ponder who, what and when to do with the enemies that have stacked up around us over the last 14 years, instead of forming a committee to study a person or situation to determine what to do,we instead call for a Grand Jury investigation. We already know the culprits,We already know the charges, and we already know what we believe should be the penalty.Let's bypass every middle man and go right for the jugular. They've attacked this nation is SO many ways not the least, most obvious and latest being the...

SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY LUKE 1:39–56 Friends, today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The dogma of the Assumption of Mary describes the full salvation of this prime disciple of Jesus. In the Apostles’ Creed, we speak of our hope for "the resurrection of the body." Mary, assumed body and soul into heaven, has experienced precisely this resurrection and hence becomes a sign of hope for the rest of the human race. When we speak of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother’s body, we are not envisioning a journey...
