Tesla has decided to deploy a swimming pool at a Supercharger station in Germany as the automaker is starting to invest more into amenities around its charging stations. But that’s a whole new level of charging amenities, even for Tesla. Last week, we reported that Tesla deployed new cube lounges at a Supercharger station with automated coffee, food, and more. The automaker is still exploring options to provide amenities and fun activities for its customers while they wait at charging stations

Among other ridiculous special interests awarded taxpayer dollars in the Senate-passed "Inflation Reduction Act" — which would be accurately described by Senator John Kennedy as a "pork orgy" — is a significant investment in the Internal Revenue Service. Put aside, for now, the fact that the "Inflation Reduction Act" doesn't reduce inflation and only raises taxes on Americans while throwing wheelbarrows of taxpayer funds into radical alternative energy projects and the woke-ification of the federal bureaucracy. The nonsense of supposedly "clean" alternative energy, while wasteful and annoying, will also negatively affect things like America's power grid. But the massive expansion...

The FBI paid visits to multiple Republicans in the Pennsylvania House and Senate Wednesday to look for information connected to Republican U.S. Rep. Scott Perry and his scheme to install alternate electors in 2020, according to a report. The FBI delivered subpoenas and sought information from multiple individuals, sources told PennLive, and some were explicitly told they were not the target of the investigation. The visit came after Perry said the FBI confiscated his personal cellphone one day after FBI agents raided former president Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home. 'I'm outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the...

The Democrats’ new reconciliation bill isn’t just going to be the largest-ever expansion of a government agency, it’s going to be the largest expansion of the domestic police state in American history. Only a statist could believe that a federal government, which already collects $4.1 trillion every year—or $12,300 for every citizen—needs 80 new battalions of new IRS cops. So, it’s completely rational for law-abiding citizens to fear an agency that isn’t bound by fundamental due process, has no regard for your privacy, and is empowered to target anyone without any genuine oversight. Most American are less concerned about cops with...

The Justice Department has to respond to motions to unseal a warrant that triggered the FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, according to a magistrate judge who reportedly approved the search.Judicial Watch and the Albany Times Union newspaper filed a motion to unseal the document earlier this week, which was granted by a judge in the case.“On or before 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on August 15, 2022, the Government shall file a Response to the Motion to Unseal,” wrote Judge Bruce Reinhart on Wednesday afternoon, referring to the Department of Justice.“The response may be filed ex parte...

Instead of waiting for the police, a law-abiding citizen with a concealed carry license (also known as a 'good guy with a gun') took matters into his own hands and acted quickly, drawing his weapon and killing a gunman who was about to "shoot up the crowd" at a party in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday night.Local news CBS12 said a fight broke out between 20 people at a family gathering on Division Avenue and 4th Street in West Palm Beach. At that moment, a 22-year-old male retrieved a short-barreled shotgun from his car and threatened to "shoot up...

The Florida Board of Medicine voted on Aug. 5 to advance a plan that would ban doctors from providing gender-affirming treatments such as hormone therapy and puberty blockers to youth under the age of 18.Florida Department of Health Secretary, Dr. Joseph Ladapo acknowledged at the public hearing in Broward County, that there were “strong feelings about the issue,” but argued that current standards of care are a “substantial departure” from the “level of evidence and data surrounding the issue.”“It is very clear that the effectiveness is completely uncertain,” Ladapo said. “I mean, maybe it is effective, but the scientific studies...

Update (1700ET): According to Newsweek, the FBI had a 'confidential human source' (a mole) inside Mar-a-Lago, who was "able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents."👀 The FBI is AGAIN sending undercover informants to target President Trump? It’s the Crossfire Hurricane debacle, all over again. This time, likely, at the behest of the Attorney General. https://t.co/f8FXr74qer — Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) August 10, 2022* * *The Trumps have revealed more about Monday's FBI raid of their Mar-a-Lago property. For starters, Eric Trump told the Daily Mail that "the 30 agents who...

The word from Ukraine’s high command this morning was that nine Russian jets were neutralized in the surprise attack on Saki airbase on the Crimean cost.I invite you to enlarge the two photos in this tweet and compare the before and after. I count more than nine.Comparison of August 9th and August 10th imagery show very large craters, many destroyed aircraft, and destroyed buildings. It looks like a direct hit on the building on the left, so whatever it was seems accurate.pic.twitter.com/QyLn86PUjw— Eliot Higgins (@EliotHiggins) August 10, 2022Looks to me like 16 aircraft visible and intact in the “before” photo...

We are starting to get more details on what occurred during the FBI’s nearly 10-hour raid of Donald Trump’s home in Florida, though, it’s not the government that’s providing them. On Tuesday evening, Trump’s lawyer revealed that authorities didn’t even want to present a warrant, and when they finally did, the warrant had the probable cause sealed. As to what was seized, the list is illuminating, and not in a good way for the FBI’s conduct. According to a report from The Washington Post, citing information leaked to them by the government (which says a lot on its own), the boxes...

As we reported earlier, President Donald Trump invoked the Fifth Amendment when he was questioned during a deposition in New York on Wednesday in a civil case being pursued by New York Attorney General Letitia James.“I once asked ‘if you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?’ Now I know the answer to that question,” Trump said in a statement. “When your family, your company, and all the people in your orbit have become targets of an unfounded, politically motivated Witch Hunt supported by lawyers, prosecutors, and the Fake News Media, you have no choice.”Folks on the left are...

Martha Stewart went to jail for lying to federal investigators. But for lying after stealing highly classified documents from the National Archives — in an apparent attempt to alter the historical record on terrorism, no less — former Clinton national security adviser and Kerry campaign adviser Sandy Berger will get a small fine and slap on the wrist. He will pay $10,000 and get no jail time. His security clearance will be suspended until around the end of the Bush administration — meaningless for a career Democrat like Mr. Berger. It makes us wonder who at the Department of Justice...

Challenger Laura Loomer has crushed Congressman Daniel Webster in a Villagers for Trump straw poll. Villagers for Trump, in a straw poll conducted Tuesday night at Eisenhower Recreation Center, favored Loomer by 89.07 percent to the 10.2 percent garnered by the incumbent GOP Congressman. The two will square off in the Aug. 23 Republican Primary. It’s a winner-take-all contest as there is no Democrat on the November ballot. “Villagers for Trump is the largest and most impactful club in The Villages, the largest voting block in my district,” Loomer said after her decisive victory in the contest. Loomer, who bills...

Trump gathered responsive documents, turned them over and allowed agents to search the storage locker the FBI later raided. Two months before his Florida home was raided by the FBI, former President Donald Trump secretly received a grand jury subpoena for classified documents belonging to the National Archives, and voluntarily cooperated by turning over responsive evidence, surrendering security surveillance footage and allowing federal agents and a senior Justice Department lawyer to tour his private storage locker, according to a half dozen people familiar with the incident. While the cooperation was mostly arranged by his lawyers, Trump personally surprised the DOJ...

U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer said Walgreens “substantially contributed” to one of the nation’s deadliest public health crises by not stopping suspicious orders and dispensing drugs that were diverted for illicit use, causing a public nuisance in a major city that is among the hardest hit by addiction and overdoses. Walgreens, responsible for shipping nearly 1 out of every 5 oxycodone and hydrocodone pills distributed nationwide during the height of the opioid crisis, was the only drug company sued by San Francisco that did not settle, going to trial in April. “Walgreens has regulatory obligations to take reasonable steps to...
