To deal with the worldwide energy crisis and the ESG recession, Alex Epstein, author of Fossil Future: Why Global Human Flourishing Requires More Oil, Coal, and Natural Gas -- Not Less has suggested that:“Joe Biden can end the global energy crisis in 3 easy steps: 1. Promise to stop his anti-fossil fuel-fuel agenda for the remainder of his administration. 2. Withdraw from the Paris Agreement. 3. Encourage other countries to do 1 and 2. Production will surge, prices will plummet.” To create credibility regarding energy markets (including the oil and natural gas), Biden would need to take several additional steps...

Former President Donald Trump dropped the strongest hint to date that he plans to run for reelection in 2024.In a wide-ranging telephone interview with radio host and author Wayne Allyn Root last week, the 45th president assured supporters that they’ll be “very happy” with his decision.“Are you planning to run for president? What can you say?” Root asked at the end of the interview (about the 20:40 mark of the video below).Trump replied, “Well, you’re going to be happy, OK? You’re going to be very happy, I really believe that.”. . . . . Meanwhile, there’s mounting speculation that a...

I believe that the Biden Administration, most Democrats, and a good number of so-called Republicans are dedicated to the destruction of the traditional USA by various means: economic, political, cultural, immigration, and military. This essay addresses that last listed avenue of destruction—the military. Napoleon is often quoted as saying that “An army marches on its stomach,” meaning that no Army can move without food. I would submit that, today, in addition to food, an Army cannot march without fossil fuels. The complicated logistics of modern life and warfare require reliable, consistent, and readily available fuels. The reduction in our military...

Bed Bath & Beyond is making its customers and employees sweat these days. (…) “It’s not surprising that they might look for incremental ways to save money, because the sales trends are not going in their favor,” said M Science analyst, John Tomlinson. “Our data looks pretty negative” for the company and “people are clearly expecting sales to be weak tomorrow.” (…)

Donald Trump is the only Republican presidential candidate in modern history who not only ran against Democrats but also against the establishment of his own party. Trump was also the recipient of vicious and baseless attacks from the media, showbiz, academia, intelligence agencies, big tech, big corporates, foreign leaders, etc. While the absence of these attacks would have helped him. They did not affect his popularity or his electoral prospects significantly because Trump‘s candidacy was based on grassroots support, not media hype. As the late great Rush Limbaugh observed, Trump created an almost unbreakable bond between him and his voters,...

Joe Rogan is jumping on board the Ron DeSantis for President train. On Tuesday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, he spoke with Daily Wire actress Gina Carano about the state of the country. “So all this stuff is happening while we have a dead man as a president,” Rogan said while referring to President Joe Biden. “Are you throwing out any support towards anyone or are you gonna hold off?” Carano asked regarding the 2024 elections. “Didn’t Elon Musk, come out recently for DeSantis?” “I think Ron DeSantis would work as a good president,” Rogan replied. “I mean, what...

What the heck are we going to do about the sky-high price of gasoline? I know that everyone is feeling it right now… It’s one of the most pressing questions in the current economic environment. And no, a three-month holiday on the federal gasoline tax won’t solve the problem. Here’s how the costs of gasoline (& diesel) break down: As we can see above, taxes make up only 11% of the total price of a gallon of gasoline. And the federal gas tax is just 18.4 cents. For a 25-gallon tank, that amounts to a mere $4.60 savings. That’s enough...

This past week has not been kind to the exoteric progressive Left’s agenda. In quick succession, lefties have seen the highest court in the land hand them losses on religious school funding, gun control, voter ID, the repeal of Roe v. Wade, and then school prayer (and they could potentially take another L later this week in the case of West Virginia v. EPA). The thing about this is that these losses are not merely symbolic - as important as that would be in and of itself for undermining the Left’s carefully cultivated image of inevitability. Instead, many of these...

The public pension situation could get really messy in the near future. There are currently about 300 state-administered and nearly 6,000 locally-administered public retirement plans, according to PublicPlansData, a project of the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College and the MissionSquare Research Institute. Those public pension systems have 14.7 million workers (e.g., state and local government employees, teachers, police and fire departments) and 11.2 million retirees. Collectively, those systems had some $4.5 trillion in assets at the end of 2021. After six months of stock and bond market declines, those assets have likely dropped significantly, putting public pension plans...

“I’ve covered politics a long time,” Bret Baier said on the air. “I don’t think there has been testimony like this — that is kind of jaw-dropping, in a way — on the inside workings of a White House in crisis after, you know, at this moment, Jan. 6, that we have seen since Watergate.” < snip > Baier continued to comment on Hutchinson’s testimony. “Bottom line though, this testimony is stunning … I think this — it does move the ball in this hearing,” he said.

President Joe Biden fled his news conference Tuesday when asked by reporters about the 51 migrants who were found dead inside a truck trailer in San Antonio. The president held a joint news conference with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez after traveling to Spain for a NATO meeting with European leaders. But he did not take questions after the news conference was over. “Mr. President any reaction to the death of 50 migrants in Texas?” one reporter asked as the president and prime minister turned to leave. Biden did not answer the question, turning and walking away instead. A total...

Within months after dropping MyPillow products from their stores, Bed Bath & Beyond is in a fiscal freefall. They have now fired their CEO and are turning off air conditioners in retail stores across the country in an effort to save money. Chances are dropping MyPillow played less of a role in their current freefall than the fact that Bidenomics is tearing through retail stores like an Oklahoma tornado, but it’s conspicuous that Bed Bath & Beyond seems to have been hit harder than less “woke” retailers. For transparency, we wholeheartedly support MyPillow, not just because they’re one of our...
