President Joe Biden is confused again. Biden was in Buffalo, New York, exploiting murder by a mentally deranged man before his victims had even been buried. The president took the opportunity to call for a so-called federal “assault weapons” ban and outlaw magazines holding more than ten rounds. This proposed ban is the same type of ban that Bill Clinton passed when he was in office. It did not make us safer. Even the FBI admits that the previous assault weapons ban didn’t work. So why is Biden calling for laws that do not work? New York has the SAFE...

From sexual harassment accusations to some erratic behavior around his intent to purchase Twitter , some longtime fans of Tesla boss Elon Musk are wondering if he's as clever as he's previously seemed. Musk has built a massive social media following on his dedication to innovation, free speech, and voicing his opinions as loudly and consistently as possible, and has gained a legion of fanboys because of it. But while many believe Musk some kind of futuristic tech prophet, some Americans are becoming disillusioned with him these days. However, if Musk even feels down in the dumps about this and...

A farmer in Montgomery County, Maryland, is offering a reward of up to $50,000 to find the person who vandalized their farm equipment last month. on the night of April 21 and was spotted climbing on top of a tanker truck used for fertilizing fields. The next day, the farm’s owner found that the tanker had been contaminated with herbicide, but only after the farmer had used the truck to fertilize about 1,000 acres of corn.

An extraordinarily high percentage of the signs wielded by pro-abortion demonstrators are mind-bogglingly dumb and/or nonsensical. One of these inane sentiments (see below) has prompted me to write this post. That sign/sentiment? ”Guns have more rights than my vagina.” Really? Let’s examine the facts. First of all, it must be noted, the vast majority of gun owners don’t stick a penis in their gun’s barrel and climax in it. They do have to subject themselves to a thorough background check by the feds, answer more than a dozen probing questions, fill out a 2-page form, and hand over several hundred...

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending that all domestic travelers undergo COVID-19 testing before and after they travel—regardless of vaccination status. In an update on the agency’s website, anyone traveling within the United States may want to consider “getting tested as close to the time of departure as possible,” and no more than three days before a flight. It previously only recommended testing for people who have not received COVID-19 vaccines or up-to-date booster shots. The CDC update is also recommending that people take a test before or after a trip if they went to crowded...

“‘“Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”’” (Matthew 6:10). To understand God’s will rightly, we need an attitude of righteous rebellion. If we would pray that God accomplishes His will, we must reject the notion that sin is normal and therefore we must accept it. Instead we must righteously rebel against the world’s ungodliness, its unbelief of Jesus Christ, and believers’ disobedience. Not to do this is to abandon key biblical teachings and accept powerlessness in prayer. Jesus was not resigned to the spiritual status quo—He preached and acted against sin. When Jewish leaders profaned God’s...

Russian losses in Ukraine over the first three months are likely to have already surpassed those of the Soviet-Afghan war which lasted nine years, the UK Ministry of Defence has said. The Soviet Union's losses are estimated to be around 15,000 killed in the Afghan war, with an additional 35,478 wounded and 311 missing. 'The Russian public has, in the past, proven sensitive to casualties suffered during wars of choice,' said the UK government ministry, which did not name the exact figure. 'As casualties suffered in Ukraine continue to rise they will become more apparent, and public dissatisfaction with the...

A spokesman for former President Trump told The New York Times that former Vice President Mike Pence is “desperate to chase his lost relevance” amid rising tensions between the two former allies, who could clash for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. In a Times article about Pence laying the groundwork for a potential 2024 bid, Trump spokesperson Taylor Budowich said the former Indiana governor was “set to lose a governor’s race in 2016 before he was plucked up and his political career was salvaged.”

Tuesday brings the next big batch of primaries, as voters head to the polls in Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia — plus we get a little bonus electoral action thanks to several runoffs in Texas and a special election in Minnesota. And thanks to former President Donald Trump’s attempt to dislodge multiple incumbents who refused to overturn the 2020 election, Georgia is the election on everyone’s mind this week, but there are even more races of note in the other four states — 11, to be exact. Here’s the lowdown on each of them.

President Biden said Monday that he did not believe a quarantine to prevent the spread of monkeypox in the United States would be necessary, saying there are sufficient vaccine doses available to combat any serious flare-up of the disease. But in the United States, “I just don’t think it rises to the level of the kind of concern that existed with covid-19, and the smallpox vaccine works for it,” Biden said at a news conference Monday after meeting with Kishida Fumio, the Japanese prime minister, at Akasaka Palace.

Voters in southern Minnesota will choose candidates in a special primary next week in the first step in a complicated process for filling the seat of Republican U.S. Rep. Jim Hagedorn, who died of cancer in February. The GOP candidates Tuesday for the 1st District seat include Hagedorn’s widow, Jennifer Carnahan, who has leveled a series of bitter attacks in the final days of the campaign against two of her main rivals in the primary, state Rep. Jeremy Munson and former state Rep. Brad Finstad. She has labeled both of them as captives of “Establishment Republicans and the Washington Swamp.”...

A military plane carrying 78,000 pounds of specialty infant formula landed Sunday in Indiana as part of President Biden’s scramble to shore up a nationwide shortage. The shipment is part of “Operation Fly Formula,” which will swiftly import formula while Mr. Biden invokes the Defense Production Act (DPA) to spur domestic production.

The last time Alabama hosted a U.S. Senate and governor’s primary runoff on the same day, Jimmy Carter was president and the Democratic Party ruled Alabama. It was in September 1978, slightly less than 44 years ago when two Senate runoff contests – a regularly-scheduled Democratic race won by Howell Heflin, and Democratic special election runoff won by Donald Stewart to fill a vacant seat – coincided with a lively governor’s race that also went to a runoff. The winner of the governor’s runoff on September 26, 1978? Fob James, father of Tim James who is attempting to push incumbent...

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are investigating an outbreak of salmonella infections that is possibly linked to Jif peanut butter products. The J.M. Smucker Company issued a voluntary recall for its creamy, crunchy, natural and reduced fat peanut butter products that were distributed nationwide, with lot code numbers 1274425 to 2140425, the FDA announced Friday. There have been at least 14 illnesses reported, including two hospitalizations, according to the FDA. The 12 states that have reported salmonella cases are Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, New York, South Carolina,...

A leading adviser to the World Health Organization described the unprecedented outbreak of the rare disease monkeypox in developed countries as “a random event” that might be explained by risky sexual behavior at two recent mass events in Europe. In an interview with The Associated Press, Dr. David Heymann, who formerly headed WHO’s emergencies department, said the leading theory to explain the spread of the disease was sexual transmission among gay and bisexual men at two raves held in Spain and Belgium. Monkeypox has not previously triggered widespread outbreaks beyond Africa, where it is endemic in animals.

Two months ago, former President Donald Trump rescinded his endorsement of conservative Rep. Mo Brooks' Senate bid, claiming that the longtime political ally went "woke" in saying that the party needed to look to the future. At the time, Brooks was lagging in fundraising and his polling numbers had stalled in the Republican primary against former Business Council of Alabama president and CEO Katie Britt — who was endorsed by retiring GOP Sen. Richard Shelby — and former US Army pilot Michael Durant. But Brooks has made a major rebound — a development that might have seemed improbable after Trump...

Rep. Mo Brooks is regaining ground in Alabama’s expensive Senate race, and a grassroots immigration reform group has endorsed him shortly before the May 24 ballot. “Americans for Legal Immigration PAC [ALIPAC] is launching online ads and sending in donors and volunteers to inform Alabama voters about Rep. Mo Brooks’ proven record as a national leader against Biden’s Border Disaster and AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty,” said a statement from the grassroots group. “The most important issues in the 2022 elections are our sabotaged borders and immigration laws and reversing illegal immigration,” said ALIPAC founder William Gheen. “Mo Brooks is...
