Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Sunday outlined demands for Finland and Sweden which seek membership in NATO in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Three red fox kits died from highly pathogenic avian influenza in Michigan, which is the state's first confirmation of the virus in wild mammals. The fox kits, collected between April 1 and April 14, came from three separate dens in Lapeer, Macomb and St. Clair counties.The DNR received a report from a wildlife rehabilitator in southeastern Michigan about the fox kits exhibiting neurologic signs of avian influenza before death, according to the release. Multiple people have been hit during a shooting at a church in the Laguna Woods area of Orange County, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department. The suspected shooter at the church, in the 24000 block of El Toro Road, is in police custody, the OCSD said. The gun used in the shooting has been recovered, the OCSD said. United Kingdom military intelligence said Sunday that Russia has lost around one-third of the ground combat forces it deployed when the invasion began in February, Reuters and Al Jazeera report.
