It’s likely a lucrative gig for the British royal: BetterUp raised $300 million at a $4.7 billion valuation in October. But just six months later, an uprising has been brewing among the company’s career coaches following BetterUp’s recent announcement that it would modify their contracts—resulting in what those mentors said was effectively a sneaky pay cut—according to six coaches who spoke with The Daily Beast. “There’s so many...

The California legislature is going to miss a May 1 deadline to kill the annual summer increase in its 51-cent gas tax , Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office said. The increase goes against Newsom’s January promise to motorists that he would suspend any tax increases given that the state pays the highest amount in the nation, both in taxes and per gallon. Currently, the average price to fill up is $5.69, according to AAA . “It is clear now that the Legislature will not act in time to provide that immediate, limited relief, but we look forward to working with lawmakers...

It’s time to make sure their cultural and political defeat is painful and permanent. April 2022 may go down as the Gettysburg of the woke. African-American billionaire success story Elon Musk bought Twitter in a blockbuster deal worth about $44 billion. He went into the deal announcing he intended to restore free speech to the platform that once embodied it. “Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy,” the world’s richest man tweeted on the platform he was about to own, “and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated.” But...

Meanwhile, excessive government entitlement spending facilitated by Federal Reserve money-printing will continue unabated. The “only way” to tackle rampant inflation in America is to raise taxes on the middle class and eliminate tax cuts enacted by former President Donald Trump, according to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D). “If you wanna get rid of inflation, the only way to do it is to undo a lot of the Trump Tax Cuts and raise rates,” Schumer said during a press conference at the Capitol building on Tuesday. “No Republican is ever going to do that, so the only way to get...

They opened an umbrella and Macron lifted his hands above his head as they tried to stop the rain of cherry tomatoes landing on him. The president can be heard saying, 'it's not serious', before he was ushered away by...

IPray For The Peace of JerusalemRevelation 14The Three Angels 6 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. 7 He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.” 8 A second angel followed and said, “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’[a] which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”...

New Twitter owner Elon Musk is vowing to reform the social media platform. "Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated," Musk said in a statement after his $44 billion bid to buy the company was accepted. Many, many conservatives hope Musk succeeds. But as much as Twitter needs freer speech, it also needs to tell the world precisely what it has been doing for the last few years. That is why it should conduct a full and comprehensive audit of all...

George Bernard Shaw stated that “Some men see things as they are and ask why. I see things that never were and ask why not?” Robert Kennedy used this quote in nearly every speech he made during his ill-fated presidential campaign of 1968. Despite being the only person ever to win both a Nobel prize for Literature and an Oscar, Shaw was also a strident anti-Semite, a noted eugenicist, and a life-long avowed socialist. To his credit, he did pen Pygmalion, which, with a bit of musical assistance from Lerner and Loewe, became My Fair Lady -- a play that...

What woukd we do without "experts"? According to a report in the UK tabloid the Daily Star, some scientists are now predicting that the world will run out of food in 27 years. 27 years and 251 days, to be more precise…as of Sunday, April 24th, 2022. (Start your doomsday countdown at home!) So, that’s it, the science is settled, apparently. We are done by 2050. But, what if, say, 26 years from now half of us go on strict diets and limit our caloric intake…or 60% of us are by then vegan…or 10% of the projected population has been...

In their ruling today, Lord Justice Bean and Mr Justice Garnham concluded that policies contained in documents released in March and early April 2020 were unlawful because they failed to take into account the risk to elderly and vulnerable residents from non-symptomatic transmission of the virus.

Can all this damage done be chalked up to stupidity and incompetence or is it by design? From the moment Donald Trump rode down that escalator, the American left began their campaign to destroy the man and prevent him from being elected. Their efforts included falsifying a fraudulent banking scheme, wiretapping his phones, and the fabrication of the Russia hoax. Despite all their devious and illegal plans, to their horror Trump won the election, so they doubled down, determined to drive him from office.
