The Justice Department has been ordered to provide internal documents associated with its decision to prosecute former Trump adviser Steve Bannon. This is a victory for Bannon, who maintains that he had a valid legal basis for refusing to obey a subpoena from the House’s Jan. 6 special panel. U.S. District Court Judge Carl Nichols ordered the Justice Department to provide Bannon’s team with “statements or writings” that demonstrate how the decision to charge Bannon with contempt of Congress square with longstanding legal opinions of the Justice Department that hold that former presidential advisers are generally exempt from congressional subpoenas....

One of the most successful disinformation campaigns in modern American electoral history occurred in the weeks prior to the 2020 presidential election. On October 14, 2020 — less than three weeks before Americans were set to vote — the nation's oldest newspaper, The New York Post, began publishing a series of reports about the business dealings of the Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, in countries in which Biden, as Vice President, wielded considerable influence (including Ukraine and China) and would again if elected president.

Amid inflationary U.S. federal spending, restrictions on domestic oil production, and the current Russia-Ukraine conflict, millions of Americans are suffering the consequences of the Biden administration’s dysfunction at the gas pump.Instead of investing in American energy, Democrats are actively suppressing the American energy industry and then telling Americans to spend their savings on overpriced electric cars to solve their problems. But the left isn’t being honest about the environmental and financial costs of those trendy electric vehicles.Last Thursday, Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky took to Twitter to remind Americans that these cars are not as environmentally friendly as Democrats...

Multiple sources report that Vladimir Putin has ordered the arrest and detention of General Roman Gavrilov, the deputy director of Rosgvardiya, or the National Guard of Russia. This National Guard is not to be confused with anything like our National Guard. The Rosgvardia is composed of internal security troops, from police to paratroops and special forces, that report directly to Vladimir Putin and whose responsibility is the stability of the state. In 2016, President Putin signed a decree that created the National Guard, known in common parlance by its Russian name Rosgvardiya. This did not entail whole new organizations or the...

On Wednesday, as Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was touting a ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ to the war in Ukraine (see Proposed ‘Fifteen Point Peace Plan’ in Russia-Ukraine War Is a Total Defeat for Putin, but Zelensky Is Biding His Time), President Vladimir Putin gave a speech that did not indicate that he had any intention of settling for less than total victory in Ukraine and signaled a crackdown on elements of his own society. The first part...

The stance of President Volodymyr Zelensky on the war with Russia remains unhindered and fundamental, i.e. the recognition of Ukraine’s international borders as of 1991. This was stressed by Oleksiy Arestovych, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, at a briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports. “The new topic of powerful special information operations is that Ukraine is allegedly refusing to engage in or losing negotiations. I’d like to remind you that the core position of the Ukrainian president is that Ukraine must be recognized within its international borders as of 1991. This is the first thing....

It took less than six hours for drug-developing AI to invent 40,000 potentially lethal molecules. Researchers put AI normally used to search for helpful drugs into a kind of “bad actor” mode to show how easily it could be abused at a biological arms control conference. All the researchers had to do was tweak their methodology to seek out, rather than weed out toxicity. The AI came up with tens of thousands of new substances, some of which are similar to VX, the most potent nerve agent ever developed. Shaken, they published their findings this month in the journal Nature...

NYT Admits Hunter Biden Laptop IS REAL Implicating Joe Biden In Conflict Of Interest In Ukraine War. Democrats and their media allies suppressed the story which has serious implicated for the Ukraine War and possibly World War Three. Joe Biden is known to have serious conflicts of interest as it pertains to China and Ukraine and as we face a threat of war with Russia in Ukraine and China in the pacific we need to recognize how our media has consistently condemned us to strife. The NYT admission is damning considering there was no accountability for those who lied and...

New Hampshire's GOP-led House has passed a bill that would allow pharmacists to dispense Ivermectin under a standard order, meaning over-the-counter. The sponsor of the bill, state Rep. Leah Cushman, who is also a nurse, told the Epoch Times that she believes "lives will be saved if human grade Ivermectin was available to COVID patients." "House Republicans sent a clear message today that we support expanding options for the treatment of COVID," she said. The final approval of the bill would also mean that some COVID patients would no longer have to rely on the process of purchasing human-grade Ivermectin...

In a study published in Cell Reports Medicine, a group of Chinese scientists revealed the oncometabolite role of progesterone in advanced prostate cancer and strategies to eliminate its oncogenic effect as an aspect of prostate cancer treatment. Androgen sustains the development of prostate cancer. Although androgen deprivation therapy and abiraterone eliminate the generation of androgen, disease progression is still inevitable. In this study, a research team led by Li Zhenfei of the CAS Center for Excellence in Molecular Cell Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences investigated alteration in the metabolomics of abiraterone-resistant patients and found that one metabolite—progesterone—increased significantly....

America's top infectious-disease expert warned that the country could face more COVID-19 lockdowns if cases go up once again due to the latest variant, even as the most cautious begin to shrug off their virus fears once-and-for-all. Dr Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease and adviser to President Joe Biden, said easing restrictions, the waning protection from vaccines and the rise of the BA.2 subvariant around the world could bring on another wave of rising infections to the U.S. 'If in fact we do see a turnaround and a resurgence, we have to be...

A French research team from t he Université Hospital of Lyon, about 250 miles southeast of Paris, presented findings of such at the European Society of Cardiology Acute CardioVascular Care conference, NBC reports. Among young and middle-aged adults with high blood pressure, a substantial rise in blood pressure upon standing may identify those with a higher risk of serious cardiovascular events, such as heart attack and stroke. "This finding may warrant starting blood-pressure-lowering treatment including medicines earlier in patients with exaggerated blood pressure response to standing," said Paolo Palatini, M.D. Typically, systolic (top number) blood pressure falls slightly upon standing up. In this study, researchers assessed whether the opposite response—a significant rise in systolic blood pressure upon standing—is a risk factor for heart attack and other serious cardiovascular events. At enrollment, six blood...

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) is likely to face Utah’s Attorney General Sean Reyes in the Republican primary, Politico reported Wednesday. Reyes, who is hugely supportive of Donald Trump’s America First agenda, may mount a challenge to Romney in 2024. The race could potentially coincide with Trump’s reelection campaign, offering a substantial opportunity for Reyes to oust Romney. “I guarantee Trump will come up with somebody,” Chair of the Utah Republican Party Carson Jorgensen told Politico. “There’s enough vitriol there that no matter if Trump is running for president, he will run a candidate against Romney.” Seventy-five-year-old Romney has not publicly...
