This article is part of a continuing series of defensive bear shootings discovered through a Freedom of Information Act request by AmmoLand. It appears these events were not reported in other media. On September 13, 2011, two bowhunters were hunting for elk in a wild part of Wyoming, on the boundary of the Shoshone National Forest and the Bridger Teton National Forest. The location was on the Continental Divide between the Salt Creek and the South Fork of the Fish Creek drainages, about an hour north of DuNoir Junction, southwest of Dubois, Wyoming, near the boundary of Fremont County and...

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem1 Thessalonians 31Timothy’s Encouraging Report 6 But Timothy has just now come to us from you and has brought good news about your faith and love. He has told us that you always have pleasant memories of us and that you long to see us, just as we also long to see you. 7 Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. 8 For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord. 9 How can we thank God enough for...

In parts of Eastern Europe this year, rising prices, particularly on food and utilities, have prompted large scale demonstrations, with police controlling crowds with tear gas and stun grenades. Meanwhile, in the West, price protests have been far more muted. There has been a “benign reaction” to increases as Andre Schulten, CFO at P&G said in a January earnings call, which was reported in Forbes. In the same article, Church & Dwight CMO Barry Bruno commented that “pricing is a muscle we’re going to continue building as we expect a prolonged inflationary environment.” The bet is that consumers will continue...

Seven-foot fencing topped with razor wire will be installed surrounding the U.S. Capitol next week, in advance of President Joe Biden's State of the Union on March 1. The wall is to keep out truckers who are heading to Washington, D.C., as part of the Freedom Convoy protesting COVID restrictions. Instead of shutting the truckers out, Biden should be inviting them in to sit in the gallery during his speech and have a chat afterward. He invited Vladimir Putin to talk -- why not truckers who love America and say they want to "restore our nation's Constitution"? How Biden treats...

Locations of the Freedom Convoy donors in Ontario, Canada, have been published on Google Maps after names of those who gave money to the crowdfunding platform GiveSendGo were leaked online. The Google link contains thousands of pins pointing to locations of donors, each pin listing their names, donor ID, email address, and the amount they donated, including those as low as $10. Who published the donors and how the list was obtained from GiveSendGo still remains unknown. Last week, the Christian crowdfunding platform GiveSendGo had its data reportedly hacked to reveal the names of donors supporting the truckers protesting the...

Today, I will be arguing before the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold Arizona’s right to defend the Public Charge Rule, which requires noncitizens to financially support themselves in order to become U.S. citizens or to obtain green cards. This rule is necessary to avoid an unfair drain on welfare and public assistance programs throughout the states. Just as I argued Brnovich v. DNC last year to uphold Arizona’s commonsense election integrity measures, this case is about preserving a long-held cornerstone of responsible and sustainable immigration policy for the United States. The Public Charge Rule has existed in some form for...

Three events that followed the recent World Holocaust Remembrance Day illustrate how utterly “unlearned” the lesson of the Holocaust actually remains. ...Yet within less than two weeks, three events illustrated just how little the “lesson of the Holocaust” has been learned. Notably, the media coverage of each was inversely proportional to its importance. Event #1: Comedian Whoopi Goldberg’s foolish denial that the Holocaust involved race-based hatred: “Let's be truthful about it. Because the Holocaust isn't about race. No . . . these are two white groups of people!” Calls for Goldberg’s firing fueled a media feeding frenzy. And Whoopi was...

A new report from Pew Research shows that the sharpest drop in approval for resident Joe Biden is among the Democratic Party's most loyal and consistent supporters -- Black protestants. In March 2021, shortly after he took office, Biden's support among Black protestants stood at 92%. By January 2022, this was down to 65%, a drop of 27 points. Over the same period, overall national approval for the president, per Gallup, was down from 54% to 40% -- 14 points. About half the drop among Black protestants. Other polls among all Black voters tell the same story. An NBC poll...

MSNBC intelligence analyst Malcolm Nance said Tuesday on “The Beat” that former President Donald Trump is will be “responsible” in part for the bloody consequences of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s attempt to annex a portion of Ukraine. Nance said, “Dictators are going to talk like dictators. Game knows game. Donald Trump, in this particular circumstance, look, he’s an autocrat. I said that when he became president. Putin’s strategy is to create an axis of autocrats, and Trump was the American wing, which was supposed to reposition the United States and was going to allow Europe to become an area of...

A social media platform linked to Donald Trump appeared on the Apple app store in time for Presidents’ Day, though its debut so far has fallen short of making the internet great again for the former president’s followers. Several users who tried signing up for the platform called Truth Social got error notices or were put on lengthy wait lists. Numerous attempts to register on TruthSocial.com were met with a “405 Not Allowed” message. Former President Donald Trump's new social media app started a gradual rollout late Monday. The MAGA alternative to Twitter — which booted Trump from its platform...

These days, the news is dominated by reporting on the Russian threat to Ukraine, by increasing fatigue with COVID restrictions across the United States and by the continuing rise of inflation. All of those are indeed newsworthy, but another newsworthy subject -- the mess on the U.S.-Mexico border -- is receiving relatively little attention. Now, there's new word it's getting worse. Much worse. Fox News has obtained new figures that show border authorities encountered 153,941 illegal border-crossers in January. That is almost double the number from one year ago, in January 2021, when authorities encountered 78,414 crossers. And that 2021...

Canada just demonstrated that, in a technologically sophisticated Western country, it’s very easy to become a dictator. And then, once you’re a dictator, it’s even easier to pretend you’re not, as was the case with Canadian dictator Justin Trudeau’s condemnation of Russian authoritarianism. Apparently, it takes one to know one. A few years ago, Justin Trudeau was a laughable lefty who managed to become Prime Minister of Canada both because of his lineage (putative dad, Pierre, was once Prime Minister too) and because leftist Canadians were in love with the idea of a hip, totally woke leader. Two years ago,...

It is too early to say yet how future historians will view the present moment in history. But as we are learning about the true costs of the pandemic lockdowns—and also learning how negligible have been the benefits—it’s not unlikely that these historians will view the lockdowns as a massive exercise of violence by so-called liberal democratic states on their people. This view is in keeping with the German sociologist Max Weber’s contention years ago that one of the characteristics of the modern state is that it reserves for itself and jealously guards a monopoly on violence. Weber’s basic idea...

Because of the egocentrism and megalomania of the current ruling class, our country is inexorably and stealthily marching toward a tyrannical one-party socialist oligarchy beholden to a globalist agenda. These elites, in their determination to achieve political and societal status in perpetuity, are willingly allied with the relatively small number of true believers in their midst whose sole focus is to transform America into another failed socialist nation. In a major step toward accomplishing that goal, the ruling class in both Canada and the United States have calculatingly acquiesced to these ideologues maliciously exploiting the Covid-19 pandemic in order to...

Russia keeps actively fabricating and promoting fake news reports, organizing false-flag provocations to justify the Kremlin’s decision to openly invade Ukraine with military force, mainly for the domestic audience and, secondly, for the international community. International volunteer community InformNapalm, undertook an open-source (OSINT) investigation of the incident that had taken place on February 19, 2022. Russia’s Investigative Committee initiated criminal proceedings as a result of this incident. InformNapalm volunteers determined the exact coordinates of the multiple rocket launcher (MRL) used to shell a border area in Rostov Oblast of Russia. Rockets were found to have been launched at 4.00 AM...

As France follows suit and begins to ease some Covid restrictions, one thing they look to continue to implement is the vaccine passport which would force people to show proof of vax before participating in society. So, the mask mandates are disappearing, but, according to reports out of France, the rules for the vax are only tightening. As a matter of fact, France just DEACTIVATED nearly 4 MILLION vax passports for people who haven't got their booster shot yet. So, the original timeframe said you'd have 7 months to get a Covid booster, and then, apparently overnight, they changed the...
