At this point, you gotta think Democrats are just trolling America. AOC, why don’t you go down to Florida and party maskless? Then come back and lecture people about how rugged individualism should be rejected. It’ll be hilarious. Eric Garcetti, go pose with Magic Johnson bare-faced and then say you were holding your breath! Holy cow, they bought it! How far can we push this? I got it: Stacey Abrams, go sit maskless in front of a bunch of schoolchildren who are forced to wear masks every day even though the science is crystal clear that they don’t need to....

The rolling back of Israel's "Green Pass" rules came into force at midnight on Sunday, as part of a further easing of restrictions in the fight against Covid-19 amid a slowing down of the omicron outbreak. Israelis will no longer need to present their digital health pass attesting to a complete vaccination schedule or recovery from the disease at the entrance to restaurants, cinemas, sports halls and hotels. However, the Green Pass is still required to be presented at the entrance to sites where the risk of infection is higher, such as performance halls and dance clubs. At the same...

It’s been roughly a year since women began coming forward to accuse Andrew Cuomo of sexual harassment. To mark the anniversary of the beginning of the ostensible end of his political career, the former New York governor appears to be trying to get back in the game. In an interview with Bloomberg published Monday, Cuomo was playing pool as he said that he would not resign if he could go back and do it again. “I never resigned because I said I did something wrong,” Cuomo said. “I said, I’m resigning because I don’t want to be a distraction.”

This animation features actual satellite images of the far side of the moon, illuminated by the sun, as it crosses between the DSCOVR spacecraft’s Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) and telescope, and the Earth – one million miles away. Credit: NASA/NOAA Although it looks fake, this viral footage of the Moon orbiting Earth is actually real. It’s just not new, despite making the rounds again this week; it actually was captured over 6 years ago. Back in 2015, a NASA camera aboard the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) captured this unique series of images displaying the ‘dark side’ of the...

Archaeologists have uncovered the largest collection of ancient Egyptian 'notepads' found since the beginning of the 20th century. In the long-lost city of Athribis, in central Egypt, researchers have cataloged more than 18,000 inscribed pieces of pottery, some of which seem to have been written by students. The shards of inked pottery are known as 'ostraca'. Much cheaper and more accessible than papyrus, remnants of broken jars and other vessels were used in ancient Egypt on a daily basis to detail shopping lists, record trades, copy literature and teach students how to write and draw. In fact, a large...

OTTAWA—Truckers taking part in the Freedom Convoy have had their GoFundMe page reinstated after employing a clever tactic: burning cop cars, trashing minority neighborhoods, and looting Nike Stores to trick GoFundMe into allowing them back on the platform. Smart! "Er -- racial justice or whatever, eh?!" shouted one trucker disguised in a bandana, holding a fist of justice into the air. "We're fightin' for them, you know, them black folks and what-not, I tell you what, eh? "All cops must die!" he added, before quickly adding, "Sorry." After seeing the police cars burning throughout Ottawa, the smoke rising from black...

Democratic star and Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has sparked outrage after tweeting a photo of herself posing indoors with masked-up students — without wearing a mask herself. Abrams, 48, joins many of her Democratic peers including California Gov. Gavin Newsom and San Francisco Mayor London Breed, who have been seen gallivanting indoors without masks despite supporting strict face-covering mandates. The former state minority leader initially tweeted the photo herself at Glennwood Elementary School in Atlanta Friday, writing “Spending time with Glennwood’s amazing students, faculty and staff ranks as spectacular, delightful and outstanding.” Not only were the pictured students wearing...

A convicted felon accused by the US government of supporting “the cause of violent jihad” — and promoting 9/11 mastermind Osama Bin Laden — donated to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign and a host of progressive Democrats following his release from prison, records show. Emadeddin Muntasser, 57, and two of his associates were convicted in January 2008 on counts of conspiring to defraud the United States government, lying to the FBI and engaging in a scheme to conceal evidence. The charges stemmed from their operation of an Islamic charity that acted as a front to finance Islamic jihad abroad and lying...

Dozens of athletes thrown into virus isolation at China's zero-Covid Winter Olympics have laid bare their misery - describing 'crying like crazy' after being hauled out of bed at 3am before being fed miserable food in rooms too small for exercise. Beijing is attempting to hold a virus-free event in the midst of a pandemic, cutting off competitors and their teams in a bubble where tests must be taken every day, with anyone who tests positive dragged off to isolation. But conditions in isolation are reportedly dire. Valeria Vasnetsova, a Russian biathlete, claims she was served the same inedible meal...

Only two recent retired officers among 81 contacted by Police Chief Chuck Lovell have expressed interest in helping fill Portland police vacancies under the city-approved retire-rehire program. The chief urged them to consider returning in a letter last month, acknowledging that those who had retired since August 2020 left “at a time of great despair for the Bureau and the City of Portland.” The Police Bureau is now rebuilding with support from elected officials and residents, Lovell wrote, and urged the retirees to help this “once vibrant city come back to life.” ... BERLIN (Reuters) -Fifteen climate activists glued themselves to the asphalt of motorways in Germany, causing rush hour traffic jams on Monday, in the latest protests demanding a law against food waste and cuts in greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture. The PLAT footage on Jul. 20, 1993, shows “Lion 111”, piloted by Lt. Matthew T. Claar “Planet” with RIO Lt. Dean A. Fuller, first aircraft in the recovery cycle, dropping below the approach slope just before reaching fantail. The aircraft strikes the rear of the aircraft carrier (“ramp strike”) at 21:04:33: the rear fuselage explodes in a fireball and the forward section starts skidding along the flight deck trailing burning fuel. Both crew ejected: the RIO survived as he was ejected into the water off the angle and recovered in a matter of a few minutes by a SAR helicopter....
