Homes and businesses in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood have been without phone and internet service for five days, and now, CenturyLink says that repairs may take up to three weeks. Are AI cameras in Seattle’s Magnolia neighborhood start of troubling trend? The outage is being blamed on a pair of vandalism-related incidents from late last week. CenturyLink crews say that it appears as though someone cut through a wooden box running under the Magnolia Bridge that holds fiber-optic cables. Cables and copper wiring were then stolen. After initial repairs, some homes in the area had their service restored on Saturday. But...

Top consulting firm McKinsey has calculated that the net-zero emissions targets set by global governments and championed by the United Nations would would cost the public a staggering $275 trillion by 2050, or around $30 billion per day for the next 25 years. The number would account for more than the U.S. government currently spends per day, with the targets especially a part of Boris and Carrie Johnson’s green agenda in the United Kingdom. President Biden recently committed America to the same 2050 target, telling the COP26 conference of his regime’s “overall long-term strategy that outlines [and] how we’ll get...

It was Jesus who adopted the name Bread of Life. And what a name! He alone could give it to Himself. An angel charged with naming our Lord would have given Him a title consonant with His attributes, such as Divine Word, or Lord, or the like — but Bread: such a name he would never have dared to give to his God!Bread of Life! Ah, but that is the true name of Jesus; in it is the whole Christ, in His life, in His death, and after His Resurrection. Crushed on the Cross and sifted like flour, He will...

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration Monday rescinded its authorization for Covid-19 monoclonal antibody treatments made by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly after those treatments proved ineffective against the omicron variant, over a month after some hospitals voluntarily decided to stop offering the drugs. Monoclonal antibody treatments can prevent serious illness or hospitalization among high-risk Covid-19 patients by reinforcing the body’s natural immune response. Though Regeneron and Eli Lilly’s treatments worked against previous variants of the virus, omicron’s mutation in a spike protein targeted by the treatments all but eliminated their effectiveness. Over a month prior to the FDA’s Monday...

"And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren. But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many."...
