Christmas is right around the corner. For those of us who celebrate the birth of Christ, it is a time of great optimism. It refreshes us and makes us hopeful knowing that a savior was born and sent by God to bear our sins so that we as believers would have eternal life. I realize not everyone who reads this is a Christian. But the vast majority of the people I’m going to write about suggest they are. It’s for that reason I sincerely ask my fellow Christians of a different political party if they’re tired of living and selling...

The resurgence of socialist ideology is curious given the unpleasant history of that doctrine. The historical evidence is that socialism does not work as claimed. Moreover, when socialism has been tried, it has all too frequently been accompanied by catastrophe and atrocity. It is not unfair to say that history has not been kind to socialism and vice versa. It is not hyperbole to note that the results of socialist government have been evil. It is also reasonable to conclude that many of the failures of socialism were due to inherent weaknesses in its doctrines and philosophies. Stated simply, the...

About a decade ago I’d heard all sorts of rumors about Matt Drudge, many from friends who were in positions to know or at least suspect, and none of them were good. I remember thinking if those rumors were true, and they were proven and exposed, that would do some serious damage to conservatism. Thankfully, it didn’t come to that. Drudge wasn’t destroyed from without, it was destroyed from within, by Matt himself. Thankfully, it happened long after he and his website mattered. I still don’t know if those rumors are true, but Matt Drudge no longer matters. Even the...

Why is communism so appealing to a certain subset of leftists? If something had a track record of 100 million dead and explicitly called for the subjugation of people, most would call it evil. Yet some people still call themselves communists and socialists. Why? It is not as if these facts about the recorrd of communism are obscure, certainly not to professors and intellects. Knowing of the gulags and famines and still advocating for what made it possible, is a singularly wicked form of evil. Clearly there is something causing these advocate to supersede common sense and decency. A recent...

Most of you whippersnappers were not even Planned Parenthood targets back when inflation was last a thing. It was the late-seventies, which you people associate with funky clothing and disco music. Most of us who lived through that miserable decade associate it with economic malaise, notably including massive inflation and 18% interest rates. Yeah, think about 18% interest, all you folks with an adjustable rate loan. You’re spoiled by cheap money and low inflation. You are about to learn a lesson in economics. See, when Uncle Sucker prints lots of money and there are fewer things to buy, you get...

A new super-variant could be created if Omicron and Delta infect someone at the same time, one of Moderna's bosses has warned. Covid infections normally only involve one mutant strain, but in extremely rare cases two can strike at the same time. If these also infect the same cell, they may be able to swap DNA and combine to make a new version of the virus.

Just when you thought President Trump’s endorsements could not get any worse, along comes John Gibbs. Gibbs is a parachuted in candidate to take on sitting Representative Peter Meijer (who also voted to impeach). Gibbs was not and is not even a resident of the potential district, yet he has Trump’s endorsement. In addition to John Gibbs being a carpetbagger candidate, he has a long history of racism and bigotry toward Jewish people. In fact, an account at Twitter that Gibbs controlled was even banned from the site because of his outright and flagrant anti-Semitism views. This guy was even...

The X-Files are moving out of the basement. A provision buried deep in the $770 billion annual defense bill that the US Senate passed on Wednesday calls for the creation of a new agency to investigate reports of UFO sightings. Under Section 1683 of the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal 2022, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and National Intelligence Director Avril Haines have to establish an “office, organizational structure, and authorities to address unidentified aerial phenomena” within 180 days of when President Biden signs the bill into law. Among its duties, the new agency will “evaluate links between unidentified aerial...

More people have died from COVID on Biden’s watch than did on Trump’s watch. When a reporter finally asked Biden a question about that on Wednesday, though, Biden’s sole response was to give one of his patented, “aw, gosh,” fecal-matter eating grins, laugh, and walk away. The media seemed just fine with that. COVID appeared in the United States during President Trump’s last full year as president. The disease was new, scary, and Trump was getting terrible advice from Anthony Fauci, who is both a wannabe tyrant and a man who was desperately covering his derriere from what’s now become...

According to a Nov. 19, 2021 report, "an Egyptian court sentenced an 80-year-old-intellectual earlier this week to five years in prison over his remarks on the early Islamic conquests." Ahmed Abdu' Maher, a high-profile lawyer, expert on Islam, and author of fourteen books on Islamic history and jurisprudence, was found guilty of "contempt of Islam, stirring up sectarian strife and posing a threat to the national unity." One of Maher's chief "crimes" is his view on the seventh- and eighth-century Arab conquests — a view based on a close and correct reading of both Muslim and non-Muslim sources: that Arabs...

Rumble — Pfizer reported that its vaccine shows a 95% efficacy. That sounds like it protects you 95% of the time. But that's not what that number actually means. That is the relative risk reduction which does NOT tell you what your overall risk is reduced by vaccination. For that number, we need to look at absolute risk reduction. Time only 118 seconds of pure information!

True leadership requires confidence. Period. This is something that must be exhibited by leaders, and also something that their followers must feel about them. In other words, a leader must exhibit confidence in their decisions, their speech, and their body language. Also, their followers must feel confident in the capabilities, intellect, and presence of their leader. Without both aspects, the leader’s effectiveness will crumble. In the case of Joe Biden, he has neither. Despite the support of mainstream media, Biden's poll numbers continue to slip. This slippage seemed to gain steam back in August, when his numbers took a turn...

Like John Belushi from The Blues Brothers, Fed Chair Jerome Powell is saying that the markets lackluster response in terms of bond yields to his “hawkish” announcement yesterday “isn’t his fault.” Federal Reserve boss Jerome Powell appears unperturbed by the fact that longer-term bond yields remain low even as officials lay the ground work for tighter policy and inflation is ticking higher. This stands as something of a contrast to the view expressed back in 2005 by one of Powell’s predecessors. Back then, Fed chief Alan Greenspan described a decline in long-term bond yields even in the face of six...

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A Cape Coral man is banned from flying on United Airlines after failing to comply with the federal mask mandate. Adam Jenne wore a red thong as a mask. He was heading to D.C. from the Fort Lauderdale Airport but got kicked off before the flight could take off. “I think the best way to illustrate absurdity is with absurdity,” said Jenne. This is not the first time he’s tried flying with the red panties as a mask. “Every single flight has been met with different reactions from the flight crew,” said Jenne. “Some with a...

A few updates on the battle to get FDA to release the licensure documents for Pfizer’s vaccine, which will hopefully address most of the inquiries on this matter: 1. The FDA incredibly failed to send a representative to a federal court hearing in this matter on December 14th because of the “FDA’s protocols” regarding COVID-19. Meaning, despite the federal health agencies’ compliance rate with its mandatory vaccination policy of over 98.8% and its resounding claim that the vaccines are “effective,” the FDA is apparently still scared. Its actions speak volumes and cast serious doubt on its words. 2. Just prior...
