CommentaryEnvision a country in which “the state runs capitalism to serve the interests of most people” and our politicians won’t let “rich capitalists stand in the way of doing what they believe is best for the most people of the country.”That sounds a lot like Bernie Sanders or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez describing their far-left ideal for America. It’s not that far removed from the Marxist maxim that predates Karl Marx himself of “from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs,” and it goes completely against the free-market principles that drive successful investors and entrepreneurs in the Land...

The COVID-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers promulgated by President Joe Biden’s administration is being opposed by over 150 Republicans in Congress, who say the administration hasn’t taken into account the mandate’s potential effect on already short-staffed hospitals.“We are concerned that if the Biden administration moves forward with their vaccine mandate for medical personnel, the resulting staff shortages could actually cost lives instead of saving them,” Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-S.C.) said in a statement. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) last month announced every facility that receives federal funding must force workers to get a vaccine or terminate them.The...

Australia’s technical advisory body to the federal health minister has distanced itself from the use of vaccine mandates—a measure which has been criticised by the World Health Organization (WHO), arguing that it should be an “absolute last resort.”The head of the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI), Dr. Chris Blyth, was asked on Dec. 8 why the country’s state and territory governments were handing down vaccine mandates for businesses when 80 to 90 percent of the population was already vaccinated. His response was, “I don’t think that’s ATAGI’s role to answer that question.”“We provide technical advice, and we believe in...

I think it’s pretty clear by now that the pandemic is going to be around indefinitely, and by pandemic, I don’t mean the COVID-19 virus, I mean the pharmaceutical gold rush. The writing’s on the wall if you look for it. While on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Pfizer Chairman and CEO Albert Bourla was discussing the vaccines with host Becky Quick who mentioned the fourth dose already in the works. Bourla said that this dose would be necessary in order to keep people safe from the virus, especially with Omicron now making the rounds:“I think when we see real world data will...

"Facebook has admitted in a court of law that such fact checks are not factual at all, but merely opinions. People send me stuff. As we have previously reported, journalist John Stossel is suing Facebook after Facebookâs âfact checkersâ labeled climate change information that Stossel posted as 'false and misleading'. In the middle of all this is the nefarious website 'Climate Feedback' which has a bunch of climate zealots that write up what they claim are 'fact checks' for articles, videos, and news stories they disagree with. Facebook just blew the 'fact check' claim right out of the water in...

A judge in Chicago has ordered a suspected killer held over claims he gunned down a 71-year-old Chinese restaurant owner in broad daylight, while the victim was walking down the street. How woke Chicago DA Kim Foxx went out of her way to help Jussie and complained to her deputy that charges against him were 'excessive' - Embattled actor Jussie Smollett's initial charges for filing a fake police report were dropped in 2019 by the Cook County State Attorney's office - Top prosecutor Kim Foxx recused herself from the original charges against him after liaising with Smollett's family at the behest of MeToo leader Tina Tchen - Foxx previously tried to convince the FBI to take over the probe of the alleged attack at the request of his family, whom she...

As part of the VLA nascent disk and multiplicity survey (VANDAM for short), the researchers mapped the radio waves leaking out of a dense cocoon of dust about 600 light-years away that contained a whole nursery of young stars. The VANDAM survey allowed for a census of stars younger than half a million years old called Class 0 stars – mere babies in star terms – and stars a little older between 500,000 years and 1 million years, called Class 1. Combined with data on the shapes of the surrounding cloud of dust, the scientists found 45 lonely stars, 19...

CNN anchor Don Lemon on Thursday night said Jussie Smollett was a liar, turning on his former friend as Lemon's guest said the 39-year-old should brace himself for prison. Smollett, the star of Empire, was found guilty earlier on Thursday by a jury in Chicago of staging a 'racist and homophobic hate crime' in January 2019, in a bid to make the producers of the show have more sympathy for him. The jury took nine hours to convict Smollett on five of the six counts, and Lemon had little sympathy for his former friend, who he admitted in 2019 he...

A collection stories that for some odd reason won't get any press coverage. I'm not exactly sure why...Steve KirschDec 7 I hear so many incredible stories you’ll never see in the mainstream media, I thought I’d start an article to collect them. I plan to add more to this list over time. Why am I doing this? Because the press isn’t reporting these stories and these stories need to be told.Have I fully vetted and verified all these stories personally? No. But they seem very plausible based on stories I have heard from reliable sources. So with that caveat, here goes.Nurse...

Jupiter, Saturn and Venus have lined up in the evening sky and will continue to be prominent features throughout most of December, but this week, the trio will get a visitor. The easy-to-find planets, paired with the approaching peak of the Geminid meteor shower, make December a great month for evening stargazing. The only caveat is that the weather can be fickle during the long December nights, often offering frosty conditions on nights that are not cloudy. The moon started off the week next to Venus, and as the week progresses, it will continue to move up the chain, passing...

Astronomers may have, for the first time, detected a sunlike star erupting with a giant outburst 10 times larger than anything similar ever seen from our sun, a new study finds. The new results may shed light on the effects such powerful outbursts may have had on the early Earth when life was born, and could have on modern Earth and our societies, researchers said. Our sun often unleashes flares that can each pack as much energy as millions of hydrogen bombs exploding at the same time. Solar flares are often accompanied by giant bright tendrils of solar plasma known...
