Hilaria Baldwin has claimed husband Alec Baldwin is suffering from PTSD and has been battling it for a 'long time'.
'My husband is suffering from PTSD right now,' Hilaria, 37, said on Thursday, adding that it has been something he's dealt with long before the Rust shooting.
'It's something that is not just from what happened recently but he's been suffering from this for a very, very, very long time...'
The post on Hilaria's Instagram Stories site comes as Alec shared an open letter from members of the Rust film crew and cast members on Instagram, hitting back at claims that the set was 'chaotic, dangerous and exploitative' in the days leading up to the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
The open letter Alec shared on Instagram, which was signed by over 20 crew and cast members, begins by saying the writers of the letter were not influenced to make such a statement by any of the producers on set, including Baldwin.
It adds that the signing crewmembers 'believe the public narrative surrounding our workplace tragedy is inadequate and wish to express a more adequate account of our experience.'
The letter explains that it is common in the film industry to work on productions that are 'unprofessional' and 'hectic' in order to 'gain experience and credits,' adding that many of the staffers signing the letter have worked on such productions.
'Rust was not one of them,' it adds. 'Rust was professional. We do acknowledge that no set is perfect, and like any production, Rust had its areas of brilliant and its areas that were more challenging.'
The crewmembers add that they 'stand firmly' with their unions and 'strongly support the fight for better working conditions' across the industry, but asserts that the set of Rust is not an example

Regardless how this case turns out, Baldwin killed this lady, has always been and will remain a very miserable man. He has a history of cruel, intolerant behavior. Its no secret that his father was a mean alcoholic who physically and psychologically abused his children. Baldwin may not be an alcoholic but he clearly behaves in a very similar manner. He has young kids and suspect that they will suffer. His wife appears clueless and will not be able to protect them anymore than Baldwin’s mother was able to protect Baldwin and his brothers.
She working pretty hard so that her meal ticket can keep that $60 million he reportedly has. Otherwise, she’s just been doing a mean old coot for nothing...
Anyone up for a Team America Western. I would love to see another Team America movie, f’ yea. LOL.
Then why does she post their life all over social media?
This unfortunate person, Alec, not his wife, who should shut her mouth, Alec likely has never had to face up to any responsibility for wrong doing.
Alec B the darling of the media so willing to go out and do their bidding on the comedy stage so hateful and nasty to all that’s good about Trump. They won’t help him here. They can’t
He probably has no clue how to face up to wrong doing.
Just because the crew says they weren’t influenced by producers and Baldwin, doesn’t mean they weren’t influenced by his lawyers and PR team
And he’s been an angry, violent little man for decades.
Imagine having to work for or around him

When I saw Baldwin jump from a helicopter into the fridge North Sea to only end up having a gun battle with a KGB cook in a nuclear reactor I knew someday he would end up with PTSD.
Does Alec Baldwin have PTSD? Who knows, but we do know that because he is an actor, he is an emotional, undisciplined dolt --which is what we pay him to be.
Oh, boo hoo.
