As they learn more about social and emotional learning (SEL) with its data-mining, parents are in an uproar. They're demanding an opt-out and deletion of all stored data. Some believe that if we can stop the leftward lurch of America, we can "turn our schools around" and use SEL as it was "initially intended." But was the initial purpose of SEL really to teach appropriate social behavior and support "mental wellness" and "management of emotions," or is there a sinister underside? SEL's Occult ConnectionsThe term "social and emotional learning" was coined in 1994 at a meeting hosted by the Fetzer...

The U.S. is facing a serious constitutional crisis over the handling of the cases of defendants in the Jan. 6 so-called "insurrection" in Washington, D.C. to protest the presidential election modus operandi and the results. Those being held for many months without a trial are being denied their habeas corpus rights under the U.S. Constitution and even dating back to English law hundreds of years before our Constitution was implemented. Not only are they being incarcerated without having had a trial, but there is some evidence that they are being mistreated or are being held 23 hours a day in...

Federal Reserve Governor Randal Quarles said he is stepping down from his post around the end of the year, an announcement that comes a little over a month after ending his run as the Fed’s supervisor of the banking system. The move was not unexpected but became official Monday and will be effective “during or around the last week of December,” Quarles said in a letter to President Joe Biden. Though his actual term on the board of governors does not expire for another 11 years, Quarles announced he is walking away from his position as governor. He also had...

British Home Secretary Priti Patel on Wednesday denounced the incident on Tuesday in which Israel’s Ambassador to the UK, Tzipi Hotovely, had to be removed under tight security from a speaking engagement at the London School of Economics. “Disgusted by the treatment of the Israeli Ambassador at LSE last night. Antisemitism has no place in our universities or our country,” tweeted Patel. “I will continue to do everything possible to keep the Jewish community safe from intimidation, harassment and abuse,” she added. “I have been in touch with Tzipi Hotovely and the police have my full backing in investigating this...

WRENTHAM, Mass. (WJAR) — A man donned a blonde wig and dressed as a woman so he could secretly record girls and women in a Massachusetts mall's restroom, police said. The expected $4 billion increase in federal road and bridge funds over the next five years is raising the rhetoric against the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s proposal to toll nine bridges across the state to pay for their replacement. The department says its financial problems are so severe that using federal infrastructure funds approved Friday instead of following through with tolling would still prevent the agency from repairing hundreds of other bridges across the state. The $4 billion increase in federal funds over five years will help, the agency said, but it claims it should be spending $8.1 billion more...

Anomalous Enhancement of Three-Body Deuteron Fusion in Titanium-Deuteride with Low-Energy D+ Beam Implantation Akito Takahashi,Katsuhiko Maruta,Kentaro Ochiai,Hiroyuki Miyamaru &Toshiyuki Iida Pages 256-272 | Published online: 09 May 2017 Download citation https://doi.org/10.13182/FST98-A70 Abstract Anomalous enhancement of three-body deuteron fusion reactions was observed by low-energy D+ ion beam implantation experiment with titanium-deuteride (TiDx: x = 1.4) using a δE-E charged-particle spectrometer. The enhancement ratio was ~10^26, compared with the traditional theory estimation for a beam/target interaction of the random nuclear reaction process. Two characteristic charged particles of 4.75-MeV helium (3He) and 4.75-MeV triton from the reaction channel of 3D → t +...

Wednesday is the United States Marine Corps’ birthday. The Marines were formed 246 years ago in a bar in Philadelphia. Marines old and young across the U.S. are celebrating their special day, including a 103-year-old Marine from Greensburg. KDKA’s resident Marine Ross Guidotti spent some time with Madeline Buchek, whose service in World War II helped pave the way for future female Marines. Although it’s been 78 years, Buchek says her memories of her time as a Marine are as vivid as ever.

It pains me to see the sinfulness and moral treachery of our youth in America today. A notable example of this was during the Astroworld concert in Houston, Texas, which brought to light just how low our nation has fallen. At least eight lives were tragically lost, with over 100 injured. All in the name of worshipping celebrities as if they are deities. Where has our faith gone? Famed rapper Travis Scott hosted his notorious Astroworld event in Houston amid the jubilation of tens of thousands of fans. They flocked to Texas to walk through the massive gaping mouth of...

Veteran’s Day is here and descendants of World War II Rangers are working to have a Congressional Gold Medal awarded to them. Of 16 million American military in World War II, just 7,000 were Rangers who spearheaded multiple invasions from Africa to D-Day Normandy. Today, only 19 of those Rangers are living. The U.S. Senate has already passed bipartisan legislation that will award the medal. HR3577 will do the same in the House if it gains sufficient co-sponsors. Sen. Jerry Moran was a co-sponsor on the Senate bill, but as of yet, only Congressman Tracey Mann — one of four...

On Thursday (Nov. 4, 2021), police said they were dispatched to Colonial Park Drive in South Charleston in reference to a disturbance. “The only thing the 911 call taker from the dispatcher can hear is someone yelling about a dead baby,” Patrolman W.M. Tanzey wrote in a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. When police got on scene, they said they saw Igo being physically...

It made for a good laugh a few months ago when Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), a particularly fierce critic of former President Donald Trump, indicated she wasn't ruling out a run for president in 2024. Her actions as of late have only fueled further speculation that she really is going for it. On Tuesday night she not only publicly railed against Trump before a large audience, but she did so in New Hampshire. As the first primary state, even just stepping foot there can get people talking. Now that she's delivering campaign-style speeches in New Hampshire, which party does Liz...

Democrats are readying a full court press to sell President Biden’s bipartisan infrastructure package to voters and protect their most vulnerable members in next year’s midterms. On Tuesday, Biden participated in a virtual grassroots event with Democratic National Committee Chairman Jaime Harrison where the two discussed infrastructure legislation. The committee projected images highlighting the infrastructure plan on a hotel in downtown Baltimore ahead of Biden’s visit to the Port of Baltimore on Wednesday. State parties are also getting in on the action, promoting the package and targeting Republicans who voted against it. Wisconsin’s Democratic Party and the state’s labor leaders...
