As of November 11, 2021, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 8,544,078 while over 125,503,345 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 220,049 and 7,911,323 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,924,622 and 89,435 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 947,761 ), Tunisia ( 713,352 ), Ethiopia ( 367,857 ), Libya ( 362,915 ), Egypt ( 340,269 ) and Kenya ( 254,057 ).

The numbers are compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (world map) using statistics from the World Health Organization and other international institutions as well as national and regional public health departments.
