The U.S. military "absolutely" could defend Taiwan from a potential Chinese attack if asked to do so, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley said Wednesday. Speaking at the Aspen Security Forum, Milley said he did not expect China to attempt to seize the self-governing island in the next 24 months, but should it happen, U.S. forces “absolutely have the capability” to defend Taipei, “no question about that.” He also allowed that Beijing is “clearly and unambiguously building the capability to provide those options to the national leadership if they so choose at some point in the future.”

The pro-life advantage has been around for decades and it showed up again on Tuesday night in Virginia. When it comes to the issue of abortion, pro-life candidates always have the advantage over pro-abortion candidates. And that was the case against last night in Virginia, where pro-life Glenn Youngkin defeated pro-abortion Terry McAuliffe. Youngkin ultimately won the race by 2.1%, with a 50.7-48.6 percentage point victory over McAuliffe. But that victory is thanks in part to abortion. According to Fox News exit polling data, 5% of Virginia voters made their decision primarily based on abortion, and that provided a 12%...

During a campaign event last week with Democrat gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe in Norfolk, Virginia, Harris told voters that what happens in the commonwealth will be a preview of “how the country will move” as we get closer to the midterm elections. “Tuesday will determine whether we turn back the clock on move forward,” she said. “What happens in Virginia will in large part determine what happens in 2022, 2024, and on." (video) As Katie reported,...

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “At This Hour,” Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) said the Virginia gubernatorial election “was about local issues. Those were about parental issues. And unfortunately, racism raised its ugly head and the Republican candidate used it very aptly.” And she isn’t going to tie the result in Virginia “to Democrats or anything we did here in Washington.”

According to the new report from the Higher Institute of Health on mortality from Covid, the virus that brought the world to its knees would have killed far less than a common flu. According to the statistical sample of medical records collected by the institute, only 2.9% of the deaths registered since the end of February 2020 would be due to Covid 19. So of the 130,468 deaths registered by official statistics at the time of preparation of the new report only 3,783 would be due to the power of the virus itself. Because all the other Italians who lost...

President Biden inadvertently disclosed Tuesday that one of his granddaughters works for billionaire former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who briefly was one of his Democratic primary rivals. Biden made the revelation during a press conference in Glasgow, Scotland, when he called on reporter “Jen Epstein of the Wall Street Journal” to ask him a question. Epstein corrected the president that she works for Bloomberg News, which is owned by the financial entrepreneur, who was mayor from 2002 to 2013. “Excuse me. I beg your pardon,” Biden told Epstein. “I hope — I got it. I got it, especially since...

In the least cannibalistic way possible, would you eat a burger that tastes like human meat? Would it change your mind if the producers of that burger said they had done extensive research on the taste? The opportunity was there for diners in Sweden after Oumph! developed The Human Meat Burger. Luckily, Oumph is a world-renowned plant-based company and rather than using actual human meat, the organisation used its plant-based products. The project was developed by the company’s co-founder Ankan Linden who said it was a promotion to show people how to eat plant-based. “We developed this burger in no...

Royal Marines commandos 'dominated' US troops and forced them into a humiliating surrender just days into a mass training exercise in the Mojave desert, it has been revealed today. British forces took part in a five-day mock battle at the US Marine Corps' Twentynine Palms base in southern California, one of the largest military training areas in the world, and achieved a decisive victory against their American counterparts. "Terry McAuliffe ran the milquetoast campaign he wanted to run — where every other word he uttered was ‘Donald Trump’ instead of focusing on the issues voters cared about the most," the groups wrote. "What happened in Virginia is what happens when Democrats fail to take on the GOP’s divide-and-conquer racism and motivate people to turn out," they continued. "The McAuliffe campaign had no comprehensive pro-worker economic message against a literal private equity magnate. It had no positive message on what the next four years would be like for Virginians. It had no rebuttal to Republican race-baiting bull----. Put simply:...

Plasmonic Condensed Matter Nuclear Fusion Katsuaki Tanabe Kyoto University, Japan E-mail: tanabe@cheme.kyoto-u.ac.jp The intensity and density of the triggering energy supplied to activate the nuclear fusion reaction are key factors to produce a smooth and reproducible initiation of the reaction. We previously proposed and numerically analyzed a scheme to provide high-density optical or electromagnetic energy to fusion-fuel materials by lasers and plasmonic field-enhancement effects, to significantly increase the reaction probability [1–6]. Large degrees of field enhancements, or energy focusing, were observed around metal nanoparticles and nanoshells [1], planar metal surfaces [2,3], metal/oxide interfaces [5], sharp metal tips [4], and metal...

As a student of Bible prophecy for almost 30 years, and specifically end times Bible prophecy, no other time has seemed as close to the end times as right now. Why do I say this? Because, particularly in the past year, the geopolitical and economic stage has been set for the fulfillment of several end-times prophecies. We now have several potential crises on the horizon. And those potential crises are the same ones the Bible says we’ll experience either in the Tribulation or the days immediately preceding the Tribulation. Below are just a few: The Gog of Magog War The...
