Veteran journalist Katie Couric is criticizing CNN for allowing primetime anchor Chris Cuomo to joke with his brother Andrew, then the governor of New York, on air during the coronavirus pandemic. "CNN should be able to say 'we shouldn't allow Chris Cuomo to yuk it up with his brother, the governor of New York with a giant Q-tip in the middle of the pandemic because it's good TV," Couric said Tuesday during an appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." "They should say, 'We made a bad decision; that was wrong.' And I think it's important for people to...

The Moon is closer, always has a view of Earth, can exchange signals and deliverables hundreds of times more quickly than can be exchanged between Earth and Mars, and is easier to land on and take off from. On the Moon, solar power is a tremendous asset... In terms of the “bang for your buck” that you get from the Sun, the Moon is more than twice as efficient. In terms of the elements that both worlds are made out of, the chemical compositions of the compounds we find, and the isotope ratios of the materials present, the Moon and...

Americans have seen tyranny up close now, and most are horrified. Thank God for that. But the elite have rapidly closed in on their goal of subjecting the People to total submission. They’re not about to take their foot off the gas now. And they have nearly unlimited resouces. We must united as free men and women or perish as slaves. With that principle in mind, it’s time we fully repudiate this idea that white Americans are in any way against black Americans. With obvious exceptions to the rule, it is just NOT the case. What IS true, is that...

CLAIM: “Not only that, more people are working today than just before the pandemic started,” President Joe Biden said at campaign event with Terry Mcauliffe in Virginia last. VERDICT: False. This one is not even close. Many people lost their jobs when the pandemic struck and still have not found work. No matter how you count it, there are fewer people working than just before the pandemic. In February 2020, just before the pandemic took hold and lockdowns were issued, there were 158,732,000 people employed in America, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’s broadest measure of employment. In September,...

The ConstitutionThe Founders view of the jury as being of paramount importance in defending liberty is easily seen when examining the words of the Constitution. There are only 14 words describing freedom of speech and of the press in the Constitution. But there are 186 words describing trial by jury in the Constitution. It is guaranteed in the main body in Article 3, Section 2, Paragraph 3, and in two amendments, the Sixth and the Seventh. No other right is mentioned so frequently, three times, or has as many words devoted to it. It is plain that the Founders viewed...

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-Mich) vetoed legislation that would require the removal of dead people from the voter rolls at least 45 days prior to each election day. State Sen. Michael MacDonald (R) said "if we want people to have faith in our elections we need to take steps to reduce opportunities for fraud. One of these steps is to remove the names of deceased persons from the voting rolls. How do we provide safe and secure elections in our state if the governor can't even agree that we should be ensuring dead people aren't on our voting rolls?" Gov. Gretchen...

"For operations, the SAF (Singapore Armed Force) has to expand its capabilities in the digital domain. Whether for administrative or operational purposes, I think that we will need...

Kane on Tuesday called the Douglas County Board of Health order that allowed parents to opt their children out of mask-wearing a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which guarantees equal access to education for all. Kane’s order came after the Douglas County School District filed a federal lawsuit challenging...

Attorney General Merrick Garland on Wednesday clashed with Republican senators over the Justice Department's efforts to crack down on violent threats against school boards, with one GOP member telling the former judge, "Thank god you're not on the Supreme Court." Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) made the remark during a heated exchange in which the senator tried to tie the Justice Department's new school board policy to an incident in Loudoun County, Va., where a teenager was accused of sexually assaulting a fellow student in a school bathroom. "This testimony, your directive, your performance is shameful," Cotton said. "Thank god, you're...

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — The board of the Alaska Railroad has voted unanimously to rescind a requirement for all of its employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. The railroad is a federal contractor, the Anchorage Daily News reported. An email sent to railroad employees last Friday said the railroad must meet the standard. But Tuesday’s board decision followed legal challenges that have been filed...

The 20-year-old had decided not to drink a lot and was enjoying her night out when she suddenly felt unwell. She turned to her friend for help before collapsing on him. Mia is only able to piece together what happened next...

President Joe Biden argued Tuesday the United States is “on the right track” under his leadership, during a campaign speech for former Gov. Terry McAuliffe in Virginia. “We’re on the move but we’re on the right track, we’ve got more to do,” Biden boasted during his address, urging Virginians to support McAuliffe for governor. The president ignored Americans struggling with increased inflation, high gas prices, and supply chain shortages, and promoted the free things he wanted to give Americans. He argued Americans were enjoying increased household wealth, more manufacturing, and a high stock market. Take a look at the stock...
