Since COVID-19 arrived, anyone brave enough to go against the preferred narrative has risked their livelihood, career, and even their personal safety. Dr. Scott Atlas, who served on President Trump’s task force and disagreed with Dr. Anthony Fauci, had to hire private security. Stanford University investigated Atlas and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya for their dissenting recommendations. Now, the Biden administration is threatening to punish people who publish COVID-19 “misinformation,” which they define as anything Dr. Fauci disagrees with (today). This column would turn into a novel if it recounted all the times that man has changed his mind or made an appeal...

Delivering a speech on election integrity in the battleground state of Arizona amid a forensic audit, former President Donald Trump told supporters Democrats cannot "win elections without cheating; there's no way." Trump picked up his rebuke of the mail-in ballot boxes that were disproportionately used in Democrat strongholds throughout the country in the 2020 presidential election under the guise of COVID-19, and in many cases not approved by the state legislatures. Trump outlined many of the audit allegations of examples of election fraud, or at least irregularities that require answers and information from Maricopa County, Arizona. Trump said the Democrats...

In a recent survey published by the American Medical Association, 96 percent of practicing physicians have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Among all surveyed physicians, there was no significant difference in the various demographic groups including primary care versus specialties, region, gender, age, and race. Some health systems have required COVID-19 vaccination for all employees amid efforts to end this pandemic as quickly as possible.... ...This survey was offered to physicians between June 3 and June 8, 2021, through a WebMD platform. Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem Psalm 119פ Pe 129 Your statutes are wonderful; therefore I obey them. 130 The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. 131 I open my mouth and pant, longing for your commands. 132 Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name. 133 Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. 134 Redeem me from human oppression, that I may obey your precepts. 135 Make your face shine on your servant and teach me your...

This afternoon, 27 campers celebrated the end of an activity-filled week at the SVMH Asthma Day Camp. The end of camp festivities included a multitude of outdoor games including wiffleball, followed by a graduation ceremony where each camper had the opportunity to cross the stage and receive a certificate . The ceremony closed with the kids performing the camp song and reciting their Asthma Pledge for their families.

I cited the judgment of Washington Post columnist Josh Rogin in “Fallacious Fauci strikes again.” In my post I relied on Rogin’s brief tweets. Today Rogin expands on his judgment in the column “What the fight between Anthony Fauci and Rand Paul is really about.” Here is the heart of his analysis of the issue between Fauci and Paul: Both men were playing to the cameras, but many scientists think Paul actually does know what he’s talking about. One of them is Rutgers University microbiologist and biosafety expert Richard Ebright, whom Paul quoted as saying this research “matches, indeed epitomizes...

“And in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance . . .” (2 Peter 1:6). Personal self-control demonstrates the certainty of your salvation. In Peter’s day, the word translated “self-control” was used to describe athletes. The successful ones abstained from sexual activity and an unhealthy diet for the sake of disciplined training exercises. You practice personal self-control when you control your desires and don’t allow them to control you. Let me share some practical tips that have helped me with self-control. 1. Start small. For example, begin by cleaning your bedroom or office, then extend that discipline to the...

You know the story. A young man took his portion of his father’s inheritance and squandered it on riotous living. He ended up broken, ruined in health and spirit. At his lowest point, he decided to return to his father. Scripture tells us, “He arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him” (Luke 15:20, NKJV). Note that nothing hindered this father’s forgiveness of his son. There was nothing this boy had to do, not even confess...

Russian internet troll factories have been blamed for an anti-Pfizer Covid jab smear campaign by a new report from a research institute. The Network Contagion Research Institute's paper says the aim of the misinformation drive is to promote the country's own Sputnik V vaccine. Tactics used by the smear campaign include releasing and promoting negative coverage of Pfizer and targeting specific countries. The report says one unusual approach saw marketing firms from Russia directly go to popular figures to try and get them to act on their Facebook and Instagram platforms. It alleges: 'Russian marketing firms have directly approached social-media...

With the federal Resilient Federal Forests Act introduced this week with the support of more than 70 bipartisan Members of Congress and over 85 organizations, California Congressman Doug LaMalfa stressed that California is a poster-child for what not to do – little to no forest management, and illegal marijuana grows in those forests and rural areas. “Communities across the West are being devastated by wildfires and there will be long-term negative impacts to our forests, our water quality, and wildlife habitat,” LaMalfa said. He noted that it is Republicans in Congress proposing solutions to help prevent the catastrophic wildfires California...

A man sentenced to death in the US state of California for murdering a 12-year-old girl and four other women has died of natural causes, officials say. Rodney Alcala, 77, died at a hospital near California's Corcoran state prison in the early hours of Saturday. Alcala, who was known as the "Dating Game Killer" after taking part in a US TV show, was convicted in 2010. As well as the California killings, he had also pleaded guilty to the murders of two other women in New York.

WORD POWER!! During the invasion of Salerno, Allied forces employed propaganda on a scale they had never tried before. Artillery was used to fire shells, each containing thousands of leaflets, encouraging the Germans to surrender and promising them humane treatment if they did. The shells would open about 300 feet in the air and rain down the leaflets on German troops. One British Major made no secret of his anger at having to fire leaflets at the enemy instead of high explosives. In a short while, however, he changed his mind. For days his men had been slugging it...

WASHINGTON, Oct. 12—Swine flu vaccination programs in nine states and in Pittsburgh and its suburbs were suspended today, two weeks after they began nationally, after the deaths of three elderly persons who received the vaccine yesterday at a clinic in Pittsburgh. Federal and Pennsylvania health on cials said there was no evidence that the deaths had resulted from the vaccinations. But they also said that the highly unusual circumstances of three fatalities among the patients of one clinic in such a short time required investigation. All three patients are known to have had heart disease, health officials said. and autopsies...

As often as leftists hype the Wuhan Virus — along with the vaccine, masks, lockdowns, etc. — they keep getting put in their place by the data. In order to keep alive the false notion that "systemic racism" is rampant in the United States, leftists across America have peddled massive amounts of misleading information. (The hotly debated "Critical Race Theory" is filled with it.) Thus, it should come as little surprise that the COVID-loving mask cultists on the left would stoop to spinning false or misleading tales about Wuhan Virus doom and gloom in order to help keep as much...

The Senate Armed Services Committee’s move to authorize significantly more defense spending next year than President Joe Biden wants demonstrates that there’s still a sizable number of Democratic hawks in the Senate willing to challenge the party’s dovish progressive wing. At the committee’s Wednesday markup of the fiscal 2022 National Defense Authorization Act, Oklahoma’s James M. Inhofe, the ranking Republican, offered an amendment to authorize $25 billion more than Biden requested (and $37 billion more than what was appropriated for the current fiscal year), aides said. The committee has made little information about the closed markup public. But aides disclosed...

Explanation: Where does space begin? For purposes of spaceflight some would say at the Karman line, currently defined as an altitude of 100 kilometers (60 miles). Others might place a line 80 kilometers (50 miles) above Earth's mean sea level. But there is no sharp physical boundary that marks the end of atmosphere and the beginning of space. In fact, the Karman line itself is near the transition between the upper mesophere and lower thermosphere. Night shining or noctilucent clouds are high-latitude summer apparitions formed at altitudes near the top of the mesophere, up to 80 kilometers or so, also...
