Iowa and Tennessee are two of the five states which have restored Constitutional Carry so far in 2021. In both states the Constitutional Carry (permitless carry) bills took effect on Thursday, 1 July, just ahead of Independence Day, July 4th. Constitutional Carry is a reasonable facsimile of the state of the law when the Second Amendment was ratified in 1791. At the time, no state or federal law required government permission in order to carry personal weapons, either openly or concealed. In Iowa, the Constitutional Carry bill contained other reforms. The bill was signed into law on 2 April by Governor...

A recent video produced by the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus that proclaims, “we’re coming for your children” has produced outrage and anger. But should it be taken seriously, or is it just an example of some playful (but terribly misguided) fun?According to the SFIST website, “The San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus released a magnificently funny video last week, but a barrage of threats and doxxing has forced them to change their key.”Specifically, “The ditty is called ‘A Message From the Gay Community,’ and it’s a clever victory anthem about the gradual normalization of gay culture among the youth of...

According to a new book by Michael Wolff, Donald Trump said he’s “very disappointed” in Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s votes on the court and bemoaned that Kavanaugh “hasn’t had the courage you need to be a great justice.”Trump reportedly expressed his views to Wolff in an interview for his book. Can anyone tell me why Trump is giving an interview to Michael Wolff? Did he forget about Wolff’s book Fire and Fury? That book was endlessly hyped in the media because of a number of alleged bombshells it was supposed to contain. Wolff himself claimed his book would “finally end”...

A third of Americans will not voluntarily receive a vaccine against the Wuhan virus, as politicians who rely on polls have known. The origin of the Wuhan virus is the Chinese Communist Party, but America’s response should not have the same mindset. Contrary to Dr. Fauci’s recent outburst against “red states and places in the South that are very highly ideological,” it is not merely Trump supporters who oppose mandatory vaccination. Many Bernie Sanders supporters and Biden voters also resist, as illustrated by health care workers who quit their jobs rather than submit to mandatory vaccination. Biden alarmed freedom lovers...

Although these rather bland-looking platforms are only recently popping up in gyms and spas, whole-body vibration training (WBVT) has been around for quite a long time. According to the BioMedical Journal, the ancient Greeks were the first to think that shaking the human body would elicit faster healing. The history of whole-body vibration training Ancient Grecian doctors used body vibration machines as a "therapeutic methodology" to help soldiers recover from their injuries. Their version was a bow-like wooden instrument that they would pluck strings on to create vibrations over cuts and wounds. The Greek docs observed that the vibrations allowed...

Mildred, the church gossip and self-appointed monitor of the church's morals, kept sticking her nose into other people's business. Several members did not approve of her extra-curricular activities, but feared her enough to maintain their silence. She made a mistake, however, when she accused Frank, a new member, of being an alcoholic after she saw his old pickup parked in front of the town's only bar one afternoon. She emphatically told Frank (and several others) that everyone seeing it there would know what he was doing! Frank, a man of few words, stared at her for a moment and just...

North Dakota expects many more refugees as White House recommits to resettlement Democratic President Joe Biden set a goal in May to admit 125,000 refugees into the U.S. next fiscal year, up from a historically low cap of 15,000 set by former Republican President Donald Trump, who often said refugees could pose danger to American citizens. North Dakota will likely take in between 250 and 450 refugees, officials say.

You Down With CCP?Should an eight-term member of the House of Representatives–who is on the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and the Defense Intelligence and Warfighter Support Subcommittee–be buying into Chinese Communist Party (CCP) companies? If you answered YES, you are probably Vermont Rep. Peter Welch.Welch is just the latest United States politician to get caught with his hands in the cookie commie jar. Welch’s financial data shows that on March 15, 2019, he bought roughly $15,000 worth of shares in two Chinese funds, KraneShares Bosera MSCI China A ETF and KraneShares CSI China Internet...

The internal deliberations have stretched on for months...

People fleeing Cuba and Haiti by boat will not be allowed to enter the U.S., even if they demonstrate fear of being persecuted or tortured in their home countries, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned on Tuesday.

I never thought much of Kamala Harris. She could dance and read cards handed to her but even I am surprised at just how unintelligent she is. It is widely believed that Harris got to where she is using less than savory means. She used Willie Brown's bedroom as the launch pad for her political career. She was arm candy for Montel Williams. Harris' not being very bright is a more widespread notion than I imagined. See here. One example from PowerlineHarris comes across to me as mediocre through and through. Her presidential campaign was a disaster. An implosion of that...

Norwegian Cruise Line is holding its ground on the vaccine passport ban to sue Florida's State Surgeon General. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has decided not to follow other cruise lines by complying with the vaccine passport ban in Florida. Instead, the cruise company has filed a lawsuit against Florida’s Surgeon General on the vaccine passport ban, which the state signed into law in May 2021. NCL Sues Florida Over Vaccine Passport Ban The state of Florida pushed so much on its lawsuit against the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on overruling the Conditional Sailing Order. Well, now,...

In our freedom-based economic system, we are accustomed to economic growth of a percent or two or three every year. How does that happen? Every person with a private business quickly catches on that they can make a little more money if they can just figure out how to make the product a little better, or a little more efficiently, or with slightly less input material or labor. Millions of people working independently on this project in the aggregate deliver a little economic growth most every year. Meanwhile, socialism follows the incentive system of the bureaucracy. If you are the...

Dr Charles Hoffe MD, in his latest update of July 6, 2021 is reporting on the disturbing findings in his patients. He says the mRNA vaccines are plugging up thousands of tiny capillaries in the blood of those who took the ‘vaccine.’ Most will die in a few short years from heart failure. The spike proteins injected, which are designed to be mass produced in the bodies of the vaccinated, are the cause of the clotting, which is having adverse effects on no fewer than 60 percent of people injected. Dr Hoffe, who practices medicine at Lytton BC Canada explains:...

Iranian intel agents sought to kidnap American journalist The State Department informed Congress late Tuesday that it would waive sanctions on Iran's illicit oil trade so that the country can access frozen funds from South Korea and Japan, the same day the Department of Justice announced charges on an Iranian spy network that sought to kidnap an American. The waiver, signed by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, allows the "transfer of Iranian funds in restricted accounts to exporters in Japan and the Republic of Korea," according to a notification sent to Congress by the State Department. The waiver allows Iranian...

Joe Biden went to Philadelphia on Tuesday and embarrassed himself. This was promoted as a soaring speech about voting rights but turned out to be a pathetic defense of why Biden deserves to be in the Oval Office. Let’s go to the videotape: Biden said “Audits, recounts were conducted in Arizona, in Wisconsin. In Georgia, it was recounted three times.” claiming that these actions somehow prove that his election was legitimate. Wrong. The Wisconsin audit of just two counties, Milwaukee and Dane, showed over 200,000 unlawful ballots in an election decided by just about 20,000. The Maricopa County, Arizona audit...

Just think of the upside down world in which we live today. Women and girls are relaxing in a California spa when a man walks in, naked and fully exposed, in full view of these mothers and daughters. Yet when a complaint is issued, the spa, along with the editorial board of the Los Angeles Times editorial board, defend the man. Do we need any more proof that we have lost our corporate minds? A man commits full frontal indecent exposure in the presence of women and girls, and the LA Times chides the women for being upset while defending...

The first Cuban protester has died after police allegedly opened fire on a peaceful demonstration while an anti-government reporter was arrested live on TV as the unrest continues on the Communist-run island. Diubis Laurencio Tejeda, 36, died on Monday in a suburb of Havana during a clash between protesters and police, the Interior Ministry said. The ministry said Tejeda was part of a group of protesters that had attacked a government facility in the La Guinera neighbourhood of Havana and did not say what caused his death. But witnesses said security forces had responded with gunfire after some demonstrators had...

It's hard to craft a narrative of sacrifice and selfless patriotic heroism with a box of Miller Lite next to your seat. Texas's Democrat legislators, who dramatically fled the state to prevent a quorum on a vote for a voter-integrity law, had it all worked out beforehand that they'd be hailed as heroes for democracy. They planned a flight together, got on together, and then were to fly as a group to Washington to plead their case and make their stand as champions of claimed "voting rights," as the media would fawn. But somehow, things didn't quite gone as planned....
