The centenary “is an opportunity for the party to reaffirm its credentials, while ensuring loyalty,” the network’s Ben Westcott wrote, hailing how the party had remained an “ever-present fixture … even as communist parties elsewhere collapse or fade from view.” The article briefly referred to “some of the darkest chapters of the last century,” including “the brutal repression of student protestors in Tiananmen Square” as well as “millions who starved to death” under CCP economic policies. But it insisted the “party has much to celebrate, particularly China’s growth from one of the poorest nations in the world into an economy...

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis never asked former President Donald Trump to postpone a rally in Sarasota scheduled for Saturday, his office told the Daily Caller News Foundation Wednesday. “Governor DeSantis is focusing on his duties as Governor and the tragedy in Surfside, and has never suggested or requested that events planned in different parts of Florida — from the Stanley Cup finals to President Trump’s rally — should be canceled,” DeSantis’ office said in the statement to the DCNF. “He wants all Floridians to enjoy the holiday weekend and celebrate Independence Day however they choose, while keeping the Surfside...

Francis Schaeffer was a Christian thinker and author whom I have benefitted much from. In the 1980’s I read his book “the Church at The End of the Twentieth Century”and benefitted from the points he raised. Schaeffer pointed out that if the Church is to thrive in the ever changing world we live in, we must know the distinction between Form and Freedom. What is essential to the structure of the church (Form)? And what in church life is fluid, as regards organization , liturgy, practices, services, etc. ? Schaeffer taught that the true Church is structured around eight essential,...

“There is no one like the God of Israel! He rides across the heavens to help you; across the skies in majestic splendor!” (Deut 33:26). The face of the children's angels are always before the heavenly Father, let the children come to me, anyone who harms one of the little ones it would be better for them to hang a millstone around their neck and be thrown into the sea! Once, I was watching as our teenagers were driving away but stopped in the road in front of our home because they forgot something and a car came but could...

Rosendo “Ross” Prieto, who previously served as a municipal official in Florida and once told Champlain Towers South board members that their building was in “very good shape,” has left his new job. A Doral spokesman confirmed Prieto is presently on a leave of absence from a contracting business position that offers services to the city. Prieto assured Champlain Towers South board members in 2018 that their property was solid, a claim which followed an engineering company’s warning that it possessed structural deficiencies. The firm said sizeable repairs were needed to fix the building’s various issues.

President Trump released a statement today addressing the recent comments by General Mark Milley, the current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and called for his resignation. ..... Snip..... Gen. Mark Milley’s greatest fear is upsetting the woke mob. When Black Lives Matter rioters were threatening to destroy Washington, D.C., he practically begged me not to send in the military to stop the riots. Milley later issued an embarrassing and groveling apology for walking at my side to St. John’s Church, which far-left rioters almost burned to the ground the day before. Instead of denouncing the rioters, he denounced...

What's really in the Jab (brandnewtube.com)Video NOTES:Viral shedding was documented in 1995 so the sudden revelations about shedding re mRNA are not authentic 'surprises.'He displays a 2021 document from the Japanese data on Pfizer which shows the virus, the vaccinated components are distributed to all the body organs within hours of injection. He displays the Harvard study which shows viral particles going around the body within hours after vaccination. The liberal media's refrain is that there was no significant fraud in the 2020 election. Anyone who says otherwise is condemned for propagating the "Big Lie." So alarm bells go off for the MSM when prominent CNN analyst John Avlon called the Board of Elections in NYC, the nation's biggest city, "corrupt" and "incompetent." That happened on this morning's New Day during a discussion of how the NYC BOE's screwups have thrown the mayoral race there into chaos. And Avlon's allegation of BOE corruption wasn't the mere speculation of an outsider: Avlon used to work for the NYC BOE and...

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday that an incident involving a British destroyer in the Black Sea couldn't have triggered a global conflict even if Russia had sunk the warship because the West knows it can't win such a war. The tough statement appeared to indicate his resolve to raise the stakes should a similar incident happen again. Speaking in a marathon call-in show, Putin also revealed that he received the domestically produced Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine and urged Russians to get vaccinated as the country battles a devastating surge of cases and deaths amid widespread hesitancy to get the...

Nonbinary, intersex and gender-nonconforming Americans will be able to choose a gender option other than “male” or “female” when applying for a U.S. passport, the State Department announced Wednesday. The policy change is part of the department’s effort to take “further steps toward ensuring the fair treatment of LGBTQI+ U.S. citizens, regardless of their gender or sex,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in Wednesday’s statement. It is not yet known when the third gender marker, reportedly to be an “X,” will be available. Blinken said the department is currently “evaluating the best approach to achieve this goal” and noted...

Nearly every Target in San Francisco — except for the one at Stonestown — has cut its operating hours to 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. That inflexibility makes it tough for the average nine-to-five, full-time worker to make a Target run on weekdays after work, let alone other individuals affected by constraints of time, access or ability to do some everyday shopping. It's unclear when these cut hours were rolled out. The reduced hours ignited concerns on Reddit over an uptick in retail theft and labor shortages hitting San Francisco Targets. After all, one Target in San Francisco — the...

For years, late-night television host James Corden has played a food-based truth or dare with celebrities called “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts.” Participants choose to either answer personal questions or take a bite of a food deemed disgusting to eat, like ghost pepper hot sauce, a sardine smoothie or dried caterpillars. “Wow, it all looks so terrible,” Jimmy Kimmel, host of late night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! said as he appeared on Corden’s segment in 2016. “I know people can’t smell it, but it doesn’t smell good, either.” Corden responded, “It’s really disgusting, it’s horrific,” as he spun...

No decent, thoughtful human being wants to be accused of racism. Most decent, thoughtful human beings are guilty of racism. Of course, it’s usually unconscious, and it’s often hard to keep track of evolving language and social movements, of phrases in the vernacular that were perfectly acceptable ten years ago but are now taboo (and vice-versa). As writers, albeit pros or fanfic writers, or everyone in between, we use our words as tools, as toys, and sometimes, as weapons. It’s our responsibility to listen to new conversations, to keep abreast of the ever-changing socio-political climate, and above all, to think...
