Using a rapid DNA testing toolkit developed by FIU researchers, Colombian officials stopped an illegal shipment of 2,200 Matamata turtles and returned them to the Orinoco river basin. SANTA ANA (CBSLA) – A Costa Mesa couple was charged Tuesday in the road rage shooting death of 6-year-old Aiden Leos. Orange County District Attorney’s Office Tuesday filed one count of murder and discharge of a gun at an inhabited dwelling against 24-year-old Marcus Anthony Eriz. His girlfriend, 23-year-old Wynne Lee, was charged with one felony count of being an accessory after the fact and a misdemeanor count of having a concealed firearm in a vehicle. A lawyer who has been fighting for an accurate review of the 2020 presidential election results in Antrim County, Michigan, went on social media this week to charge the election system there was accessed by an anonymous user – remotely – days after the election. Lawyer Matthew DePerno previously said the evidence appears to show the machines could have been accessed remotely through the internet, and there existed software in the machines that would have allowed manipulation of the results.

A 49-YEAR-OLD Odzi man was on Monday fatally assaulted for allegedly dating a married woman. Taurai Charumbika died upon admission at the Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital after he was savagely assaulted all over the body by Nerere Hamabungu (37). Keith Gibson, a 39-year-old man arrested Tuesday in connection to a violent robbery in Wilmington, is facing murder and related charges in the shooting death of a Dunkin' manager in Philadelphia over the weekend, prosecutors said Wednesday.
