Those wanting the mantle of THE anti-Liz candidate should reach out to each other, try to devise some mechanism(s) by which their support can be compared and agree to back out and endorse their leader by some date. Participation couldn’t be mandatory, but if done well the public would tend to downgrade non-participants as vote dividing pro-Liz plants. A voluntary grass roots method is preferable to letting Trump just pick all the candidates, the realistic other way to thin the ranks. While competing the group can certainly make their cases on their relative pro-Trump status.
