Rep. Liz Cheney says she supports state and local GOP efforts to enact stricter voter laws, denying any link between that and former President Donald Trump’s efforts to contest the 2020 election. Cheney (R-Wyo.), whose political future is in limbo after losing her House leadership position for breaking with the 45th president, made the comments to “Axios on HBO” after being asked what Republicans’ culpability was for spreading election misinformation with these efforts.

The Virginia Department of Transportation is set to begin construction this spring for variable speed limits on Interstate 95 northbound between Caroline and Spotsylvania counties. Crashes have occurred when northbound vehicles traveling at speed unexpectedly encounter stopped or slowing traffic flow due to congestion or lane closures for incidents and highway work zones, VDOT said. New signs displaying variable speed limits between 35 mph and 65-70 mph will be paired with dynamic message boards along I-95 north between the 115 and 130 mile markers. "Drivers will adjust their speed based on real-time information about delays and conditions on the road...

The U.S. Supreme Court issued a unanimous decision on Monday that gives new life into a lawsuit Guam brought against the United States over a massive waste site leaking toxic chemicals into the Pacific Ocean. Guam closed the Ordot Landfill in 2011 as part of a $160 million settlement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In court filings over the years, Guam argued that it should not have to foot the bill alone as the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act contains a provision for settling parties to seek contribution from other responsible parties. The ruling, written by Justice...

Though the COVID pandemic is clearly waning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) refuses to relinquish dictatorial control over members of Congress. While the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has advised that wearing masks is no longer necessary for those who have been vaccinated, the Speaker maintains that "masks must still be worn. A person may say he has been vaccinated when he hasn't been. I'd like to believe we are all persons of honor here, but realistically, we're members of a profession where honesty is not an asset." Of particular concern are the Republicans. "These people have lied about the...

Mysteries intrigue the human mind. Things you don’t understand or can’t see. Mysteries draw you in, books, TV shows, real-life, even lingerie. You want to see, to understand.I don’t mean stupid mysteries like algebra. I mean scientific stuff. Our country has just gone through a messy pandemic year full of scary scientific mysteries that government folks were afraid to admit they really didn’t understand (or, that they did, and why). So, they pretended to understand this new mysterious virus and what to do about it. We were afraid, so fell for their charade of dictums–two weeks to flatten the curve. Then,...

President Biden has spoken out often, eloquently and passionately against the “ugly poison” of discrimination and racism in our government. So a ruling by a federal district court in Texas this week was particularly jarring: Judge Reed O’Connor found that the Biden administration engaged in systemic gender and race discrimination to implement COVID-19 relief for American restaurants. Café owner Philip Greer had claimed in a lawsuit against the Small Business Administration (SBA) that, while white, he needs the same rescue as minority restaurateurs under the newly enacted American Rescue Plan Act. Greer’s Ranch Café reportedly lost over $100,000 during the...

(Editor’s Note: The views expressed in this column are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of RedState.)The ChiComs have been following a carefully orchestrated game plan to exploit their virus for geopolitical gain, as I laid out over a year ago here:Delay release of clinical data while knowingly allowing infected Chinese to spread the virus to the unsuspecting world for months before grudgingly notifying the WHO of the virus and then dribbling out incomplete clinical data. As reported here, over 750,000 Chinese entered the US during the virus outbreak before President Trump implemented the travel ban...

One thing that has always haunted the transgender trend is the regret that many feel after they’ve had transitional surgeries or hormone treatments done to them. Mainstream media sources were more or less terrified of discussing it, and even universities were afraid of looking into it out of fear of backlash from the LGBT community. All the way back in 2018, I wrote how Bath Spa University originally approved psychotherapist James Caspian’s request for de-transitioning research after thousands who underwent some form of transition surgery began showing up to surgeons for reversals. Surgeons noticed that those who came in to receive...

VIDEOI was shocked at how many people continue clinging to their security masks while I was waiting on the DMV line to renew my driver's license on the morning of May 24. As you can see, obedience to the Mask Borg was nearly 100%. Please give this video a Thumbs Up if you think I should return to the DMV on a weekly basis to record how many people continue to blindly worship the Mask Cult.

BOCA RATON, Fla. — Drivers on Interstate 95 in Palm Beach County will have an easier and faster way to get around. Express lanes are being built in the southern part of the county, but that means years of construction are ahead. The Florida Department of Transportation is investing $1 billion in building express lanes from Broward County to Delray Beach. The tolled lanes would connect with the current lanes already built in Miami. "Driving on 95 right now, it is a zoo," said Christopher Tapia when asked how he'd describe driving on I-95. The express lanes project started in...

The request to remove the name was made by several members of the campus community through the university’s established process for reviewing historical names on buildings. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on Sunday said that the Israeli government has “overt racists” and once again said that the US administration should change its approach towards Israel. Speaking to CBS’ “Face the Nation”, Sanders was asked about an op-ed he wrote for The New York Times in which he said the US must stop being an apologist for the Netanyahu government. The interviewer, John Dickerson, asked Sanders whether he thinks the administration is being an apologist for the Netanyahu government. “I think the United States has got to develop an even-handed approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We have to...

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) signed legislation on Monday that reins back large tech giants while also supporting consumers who feel they have been wrongly discriminated against. Co-host Joy Behar heaped praise on Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg during Monday’s broadcast of ABC’s “The View” for “staring down” former President Donald Trump. Behar was referencing Thunberg giving Trump a steely look in a crowded lobby as they briefly crossed paths at the United Nations in New York on September 23, 2019.

Perhaps the optimistic outcome of this recent poll would actually entice Donald Trump to join the presidential race in 2024. The former president has repeatedly said that he is looking at the prospect “very seriously” but “it’s a bit too soon” to launch his bid.

Following weeks of violence and a crippling 11-day war in Gaza, the United States and the international community want to negotiate with Palestinians in order to restart peace efforts. However, when US Secretary of State Antony Blinken visits on Tuesday, he will meet with Palestinian leaders who have been sidelined by demonstrations and outmanoeuvred by the militant Hamas group — and who seem to be more hated by Palestinians than at any point during their long rule. The Palestinian Authority is no closer to statehood than it was when Mahmoud Abbas, now 85, was elected president after Yasser Arafat's death...

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEIntroductionAwareness of ivermectin’s efficacy and its adoption by physicians worldwide to successfully treat COVID-19 have grown exponentially over the past several months. Oddly, however, even as the clinical trials data and successful ivermectin treatment experiences continue to mount, so too have the criticisms and outright recommendations against the use of ivermectin by the vast majority, though not all, of public health agencies (PHA), concentrated largely in North America and Europe. The Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) and other ivermectin researchers have repeatedly offered expert analyses to respectfully correct and rebut the PHA recommendations, based on our deep...

The company was ordered to pay $16,000 per customer Tesla has been ordered to pay 136,000 kroner ($16,000) each to thousands of customers in Norway for slowing down charging speeds, according to Nettavisen via Electrek. A 2019 software update was found to have affected the battery life in Tesla Model S vehicles manufactured between 2013 and 2015, sparking a complaint by dozens of Norwegian Tesla owners to the country’s conciliation council, according to Nettavisen. As a result, customers were reporting diminished range and slower charging speeds at the company’s Supercharger network. Tesla did not file a response, and the case...
