"The big lie" is perhaps the liberal media's favorite phrase nowadays. Shorthand, of course, for saying it's a lie to claim that the 2020 presidential election was tainted by fraud. So if the MSM hates lies, you'd think they'd welcome the truth. But seems like they only want "truth" that fits their liberal narrative. Speaking inconvenient truths can get you "in trouble." Take Florida-based Politico reporter Marc Caputo, appearing on today's Morning Joe to discuss the election law that Gov. Ron DeSantis signed yesterday. Caputo prefaced his remarks by saying: "I guess I’m going to say something that is going...

The U.S. economy added 266,000 jobs in April and the unemployment rate rose to 6.1 percent, an unexpectedly poor showing falling well below expectations. The meager showing exposed unexpected gaps in a recovery that some economists were fretting would "overheat" by recovering too quickly. "For those who feared the US economy would overheat, the bigger risk may be that it is undercooked," said The Atlantic Council's Josh Lipsky.

Christ is risen! Truly He is risen! I hope your Paschal season is joyous and that you are celebrating with the consumption of “fleshmeats,” as some of the old service books say. In our house, barbecue is definitely on the menu within 48 hours of the midnight Pascha service. As we reflect on Christ’s victory over death, it’s a good season to think about the Cross in our daily lives, and especially about using the sign of the cross. I’ve seen this distinctive gesture repeated on television and in movies through the years, but rarely in real life. The characters,...

Twitter is making it perfectly clear it does not want Donald Trump’s political statements on its platform in any way, shape or form. Since Trump opened up his new “desk” website, where users can post his statements onto various social media accounts, it seemed like only a matter of time that social media companies like Twitter would find an excuse to suspend some users who share those statements, as well. “Twitter suspended an account on Thursday that appeared to be circumventing its ban on former President Donald Trump by posting messages he shared on his own website,” NBC reported. “On...

Republican Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney “secretly orchestrated” an op-ed in the Washington Post from all living former secretaries of defense slamming former President Trump’s handling of the military in January, according to the New Yorker. Eric Edelman, a friend of Cheney’s, reportedly told the New Yorker that Cheney had personally met with all 10 living former defense secretaries, including Trump’s first defense secretary, Jim Mattis, urging them to participate in the op-ed. The report comes as Cheney is facing an onslaught of criticism from pro-Trump factions in the Republican Party who want to see her removed from the GOP leadership...

Joe Biden is trying to sell his next, massive spending bill. He says it’s for “infrastructure” to convince Americans it will be for much-needed projects. But it has become clear to many that Biden's nearly $2 trillion deal is hardly about building and fixing roads, bridges, and buildings and more about giving liberals goodies they want paid for by taxpayers. Of note, the current bill would give $250,000 to expand the Michelle Obama Library in California.

VIDEOMark Zuckerberg is very possessive about his hoodie because he seems to think it gives him a lot of comfort. Does that sound familiar? It should because that was the attitude of Leo Bloom of "The Producers" towards his blue towel. The big difference is that Bloom is a harmless fictional character while Zuckerberg is an all too real near human who not only violates our privacy but censors what we can see including banning President Trump from Facebook. All this power that we allow an over-the-top neurotic who, as you can see, looks as if he is about to...

Something must be really worrying Democrats. There appears to be a full-court press effort to delay and defer any and every effort to audit Maricopa County's election results. Officials in Arizona's Maricopa County are withholding materials subpoenaed by the state legislature as part of its audit of the county's 2020 election, claiming that surrendering them would constitute a security risk for both law enforcement and federal agencies.

Signs of our time and prophesy in the news: — Fauci's agency: $400k+ on experiments grafting aborted fetal scalps onto mice and rats — The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the federal health agency run for decades by celebrated White House corona virus adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci, has spent over $400,000 funding a series of experiments that grafted the scalps of aborted fetuses onto living mice, studies that were meant to investigate the human skin's propensity for developing infections...The experiments involved developing rat and mouse "models" using, in part, "full-thickness fetal skin" in order to "provide a platform...

State senators in the deeply blue state of Vermont have approved voting for non-citizens in elections in the state capital of Montpelier. "I believe if someone wishes to be able to vote they should be a citizen," Vermont state Sen. Brian Collamore said. "The Montpelier bill allows what is defined as a legal resident of the United States to be able to vote in city elections. ... If someone is here on a permanent basis, why would he or she not want to participate in the process to become a citizen?" Collamore added. Democrats in two Vermont towns are pushing...

The New York Times reports that "Pfizer Reaps Hundreds of Millions in Profits From Covid Vaccine." The pharma giant Pfizer earned revenues of $3.5 billion in the first three months of 2021, estimated to generate around $900 billion in profits. All the company had to do was create a safe drug that effectively alleviated the threat of the most deadly virus we've faced in over a century -- one responsible for hundreds of thousands of American deaths and a cost of trillions in economic damage -- and then manufacture and dispense hundreds of millions of doses in the shortest span...

You're watching the official music video for Laura Branigan - "Self Control" from the album 'Self Control' (1984). This cover of Raf's "Self Control" reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. Lyrics: [Verse] Oh, the night is my world City light painted girl In the day nothing matters It's the night time that flatters In the night, no control Through the wall something's breaking Wearing white as you're walkin' Down the street of my soul [Pre-Chorus] You take my self, you take my self control You got me livin' only for the night Before the morning comes, the story's...

During the debate over HB1927, in the Texas Senate Special Committee on Constitutional Issues, Senator Eddie Lucio (D) made a startling assertion. He stated Texans could not have the right to bear arms restored because the right to bear arms has not been infringed. At about 05:01:50, He asked, During the testimony of Andi Turner, Legislative Director for the Texas State Rifle Association: When did we lose them?…Later he said, about 05:04:30 :We never lost the right to bear arms in this state. Then he references Matt Dillon and Dodge as an example of where the right did not exist....

Louisiana – Joe Biden traveled to Lake Charles and New Orleans on Thursday to promote his highly unpopular “infrastructure” bill that has nothing to do with infrastructure. Biden visited the Carrollton Water Plant in New Orleans and he looked like a clueless child on a field trip. Joe Biden had to rely on notecards as he shuffled around the water plant. 78-year-old Biden can’t go anywhere without his notecards. He is always spotted reading from notecards because he can’t remember anything.
