Prince Harry received a standing ovation after he offered a heartfelt thank you to front-line workers and urged Americans to 'look beyond ourselves with empathy and compassion' during the star-studded Vax Live charity concert in Los Angeles. Harry was among many high profile stars - including Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez and Ben Affleck - to take the stage at Sunday night's concert taping hosted by Global Citizen at the So-Fi Stadium in Inglewood, where the crowd featured only fully-vaccinated guests. The concert promoting equitable distribution of coronavirus vaccines worldwide marked Harry's first public appearance in the US since his late...

Let's take a look at where people are getting the COVID-19 vaccine.Earlier this week, we learned that experts at the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation pushed back their estimate of when Dallas County might hit herd immunity—the point at which at least 80% of us will have either been vaccinated or already had COVID-19—to late June or July. That’s due largely to a dropping demand for vaccinations. Right now we’re at about 64% of that herd immunity threshold, Dr. Steve Miff told Channel 8. The PCCI did name 12 ZIP codes that have already hit 80%, which include sparsely populated...

For anyone who has never heard him before, nothing can prepare you for the opening scene of “Tiny Tim: King for a Day,” where the long-haired singer applies his freaky falsetto to Sonny and Cher’s “I Got You Babe.” No more unlikely entertainer has ever captured the pop zeitgeist than the one-of-a-kind Tiny Tim, born Herbert Khaury in New York City in 1932m, who managed to squeeze his 1968 debut album in the top 10 charts between Cream and Jimi Hendrix, and whose marriage to his first wife, Miss Vicki, on “The Tonight Show” was the highest-rated episode in Johnny...

America's emerging limbo between a full-blown pandemic and a return to normal is throwing up new public health dilemmas that spark instant political fires -- like a fresh round of grandstanding over mask wearing. Top White House adviser Anita Dunn Sunday defended President Joe Biden over his continued use of a mask outdoors -- even though the practice appears to conflict with new and relaxed administration guidelines for fully vaccinated citizens. In comments that didn't necessarily clarify the situation, Dunn told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union" that "extra precautions" were being taken for the President and that...

May 2 (UPI) -- Colorado Gov. Jared Polis extended the state's indoor mask mandate on Sunday while relaxing restrictions for those who have been fully vaccinated. The Democratic governor announced the extension in a press release, stating the mask mandate applies to those in groups of 10 or more in all public indoor spaces in counties with more than 35 infections per 100,000 people. However, Polis amended the order permitting those in groups of 10 or more people to remove their masks indoors if 80% of them have proof of being fully vaccinated against the coronavirus. Masks will still be...

The European database of suspected drug reaction reports is EudraVigilance, which also tracks reports of injuries and deaths following the experimental COVID-19 “vaccines.” Here is what EudraVigilance states about their database: This website was launched by the European Medicines Agency in 2012 to provide public access to reports of suspected side effects (also known as suspected adverse drug reactions). These reports are submitted electronically to EudraVigilance by national medicines regulatory authorities and by pharmaceutical companies that hold marketing authorisations (licences) for the medicines. EudraVigilance is a system designed for collecting reports of suspected side effects. These reports are used for...

It’s war. But not as we know it. Decades of writings by China’s top tacticians reveal this to be so. “National security leaders should look closely at what Chinese officials’ words and China’s military actions say about how the People’s Liberation Army might actually fight a war,” a US military academy analysis warns. They say it’s a war already well under way. That means the start of any ‘conventional’ conflict will be murky and confused. And, even once the shooting starts, sowing doubt and disbelief will be a significant weapon in its arsenal. It will involve police. It will involve...

President Biden hasn’t been following advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ditch his mask outdoors and around small groups of other vaccinated people because he’s taking "extra precautions," a White House aide said Sunday. "You know, we do take some extra precautions for him because he is the President of the United States," said Anita Dunn, a senior advisor in the Biden administration, on CNN’s "State of the Union" when asked about why Biden "doesn’t seem to be following" the new guidance. Dunn insisted that he takes health officials’ advice "very seriously." "I think the President...

I say with "ALL" the chaos, turmoil and deaths the Chinese have caused the US with THEIR WUHAN VIRUS, we should "CANCEL" our $1.063 TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT that we have with them. And "ALL" other countries should follow suit. But we won't, with a gutless, dementia Biden in the WHITE HOUSE.

I am a teacher at Grace Church High School in Manhattan. Ten years ago, I changed careers when I discovered how rewarding it is to help young people explore the truth and beauty of mathematics. I love my work. As a teacher, my first obligation is to my students. But right now, my school is asking me to embrace “antiracism” training and pedagogy that I believe is deeply harmful to them and to any person who seeks to nurture the virtues of curiosity, empathy and understanding. “Antiracist” training sounds righteous, but it is the opposite of truth in advertising. It...

David Parker is the CEO of Covenant Logistics and he was blunt with analysts who follow the company on its earnings call Tuesday.“How do we get enough drivers?” he said in response to a question from Stephens analyst Jack Atkins. “I don’t know.”Parker then gave an overview of the situation facing Covenant, and by extension other companies, in trying to recruit drivers. New data shows that Australia has successfully weathered the storm of Beijing’s economic coercion by finding alternative markets for wine exports, which has seen growth in Europe, the UK, and the United States. Despite losses in exports to China, Australia still managed to sell $12 million worth of wine into that market between December and March, down significantly from $325 million (US$251 million) the same quarter the previous year. Industry body Wine Australia’s new report revealed just how large an impact the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) onerous tariffs had on Australia’s wine trade to China. But if the China trade...

Florida-based attorney Benjamin Crump has a pattern of making inflammatory and false statements about deaths that were later protested by the Black Lives Matter movement. Crump has represented Jacob Blake and the families of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and Breonna Taylor. Here are some examples of false or unfounded claims the lawyer has spread. Trayvon Martin Crump first rose to prominence when he represented the family of Trayvon Martin, who was killed in 2012 by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman. Zimmerman was acquitted of murder charges in Martin’s death in 2013 after defense attorneys argued that Zimmerman acted in self-defense....
