Several positive developments over the last several months have dramatically improved the near-term outlook for the economy. Accelerating vaccine rollouts, increasing business activity, continued monetary policy, and substantial new doses of fiscal spending contribute to the potential for higher economic output. All these factors, however, are also increasing concerns about inflation, and rightly so.The good news is there is plenty of commentaries that provide valuable updates and insights for investors to monitor the situation. The less good news is there is no easy answer to the debate between inflation and deflation/disinflation. A significant challenge, then, is figuring out how to...

More than twice as many people died from accidental drug overdoses in San Francisco in 2020 than from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, according to preliminary data released by the city’s office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Forget Orwell’s “1984,” let’s talk about something that happened in the actual 1984. That year, the movie “Night of the Comet” appeared in theatres. It was a bad movie but the plot was interesting. In short, a comet passed close to Earth and either vaporized everyone or turned them into zombies. Almost everyone. 18-year-old Regina "Reggie" Belmont, played by actress Catherine Mary Stewart survived because she was in a steel movie projection room inside a theatre. Anyone who spent the night in a steel structure had avoided vaporization and zombification. And so it went. A small group of survivors with...

Following the shooting deaths this week of Daunte Wright and Adam Toledo, the disproportionate loudmouths in Congress, commonly referred to as “the Squad” repeated their oft-stated absurdity that police are killing unarmed black men and that America would be better off without them. It’s important to note that none of them offered to give up their own police protections made available to them at the Capitol. The woke mobs on social media immediately began to echo their calls anew as well. Within seconds “justice for Wright/Toledo” began to flood uninformed purveyors on Twitter and Instagram. The newer messaging phenomenon in...

I just have to share... I frequent Florida regularly because at 60, I still refuse to grow up. I go several times a year to Kiteboard various favorite spots on both coasts as well as the keys. A familiar landmark!! Ron Jon's Surf Shop is a very large Surf Board and appearal store right smack dab in the center of Cocoa Beachs City's Strand. Well for many moons, as soon as you enter Florida, the landscape is littered with billboards, and I swear 75% of them are sporting poster boys and girls,, blonde haired, blue eyed surfer looking humans,,,. You...

Burning questions remain regarding the COVID epidemic. Where did it come from? How did it spread? Who is responsible? The key question is whether we are dealing with the release, accidental or not, of a lab-created pathogen. The Russian and Chinese press continue to pump out articles holding America guilty, but they serve as a smokescreen for ill-run Chinese labs.In March 2020, the Russian monthly Zvezda ([Red] Star) blamed George Soros for financing "the laboratory in Wuhan, China, that developed and released the coronavirus in late 2019," blaming America by association. The mainstream American media are quick to dismiss that...

So far, documented COVID-19 variants are in the U.K., Brazil, South Africa, and Northern California, and I am sure there are others in India and China. So COVID-19 is behaving much like the flu with mutations to new forms going on all the time.Influenza or flu types A and B cause yearly epidemics, and there are over 60 kinds of known flu viruses. Type A and B undergo seasonal changes almost every year. To vaccinate yourself against the flu every year is a waste of time for most since there are just too many mutations, which change every year, and...

The primacy of the individual — that we judge people not by their lineage but by their deeds — is at the very foundation of a free society and of the American experiment. Here, unlike so many other places, including Pakistan, the law and our common culture insists that we see people as individuals who are the product of their character, not their tribe, family, race, or status. This wisdom has come under sustained assault by an ideology that insists that we are, in fact, avatars of various demographic markers — race, gender, sexuality — rather than complex human beings....

MOSCOW, April 18. /TASS/. The West was obviously seeking to "override" reports about plans of a state coup in Belarus by Prague’s statements about the expulsion of Russian diplomats, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Sunday. "It looks like, and such impressions is backed by actual material, that in the information space, first all, Western information space, our Western partners sought to override the importance and topicality of information released by both Russia and Belarus about not simply a plot but an actual plan of a constitutional coup," she said in an interview with the Rossiya-1 television channel...

Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser, acknowledged Sunday that gun violence in the US is a public health emergency. 'Myself, as a public health person, I think you can't run away from that. When you see people getting killed, in this last month it's just been horrifying what's happened. How can you say that's not a public health issue?' he told CNN's Dana Bash on 'State of the Union' when asked if gun violence was a public health emergency.

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace questioned Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) over his tweet suggesting President Joe Biden is not in charge during this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday.” Wallace asked, “My question, is that helpful to be sending out a tweet questioning President Biden’s mental faculties?” Cornyn replied, “Well, Chris, thank you for the question because I think there’s been a lot of confusion in the Twitterverse about that. That actually was a quote from a Politico story that I pasted into a tweet, and then I simply asked a question.” He added, “What I’m trying to do is...
