As with the pushing of anti-Bush forgeries, CBS News continues to push partisan propaganda at the expense of the truth.Rather than cover actual scandals involving Democrat governors and their botched responses to COVID, CBS’ “60 Minutes” tried to invent a scandal involving Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ distribution of vaccines. To push the false narrative and protect its favored governors, “60 Minutes” refused to interview people who disputed its false narrative, selectively edited video to hide facts, and omitted data that debunked its thesis and accurately describe Florida’s success. It’s not that “60 Minutes” couldn’t have reported on real scandals involving...

The past few weeks our country made it much more likely we’ll have another contested election. The president of the United States deployed aggressively misleading and divisive language this week and stated without evidence that a Georgia election law was akin to the Jim Crow era. He was joined not only in that reckless rhetoric by other Democrats, but many of those same Democrats decided to also presuppose the outcome of a criminal trial and set the stage for our next round of unrest. No word yet from Jack Dorsey of Twitter on whether he’ll be banning any of this...

“The next enemy we fight won’t be wearing flip-flops!” the Army captain bellowed at my fellow Infantry lieutenants and me as we engaged targets with our M4A1 carbines at a small-arms range on Fort Benning, Georgia. As I trained among the Army’s next crop of Infantry platoon leaders, the message from the cadre at the Infantry Basic Officer Leadership Course was clear: after two decades of war in the Middle East, the focus of America’s military must shift to defeating a professionally-trained enemy equipped with weapons and technology mirroring our own: armored vehicles, night vision capability, tactical air support, and...

There’s no one attribute that can be definitively pointed to that will lead to success. Ambition, determination, talent, all can help, but I’ve known too many people with one or two of these who never amounted to anything. The same can be said of intelligence. However, let’s also acknowledge that while intelligence doesn’t guarantee success, it’s far better to have it than not. At least, that’s the case if you want to get ahead in life.Yet continuing an ongoing theme of late, it seems that intelligence is racist somehow. A University of Cincinnati graduate assistant wrote that “intelligence is a White man’s...

Democrats pushing cancel culture are about to cost a county that overwhelmingly voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 election a massive $100 million. Officials from Cobb County, the Georgia county that was set to host the 2020 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, said they will lose more than $100 million after the league pulled the game and draft out of the state over new election laws passed in the state and signed into law by the governor. Holly Quinlan, president and CEO of Cobb Travel and Tourism, said that the “estimated lost economic impact” for the county was more...

In the space of one year, Americans have willingly jettisoned liberty. I’m not getting the COVID vaccine. I’m not recommending that course of action and, although I do have my reasons, it’s mostly just stubbornness. I don’t want to follow the herd and I won’t be told what I must do for my own well-being. Not in this country. I’m still an American, even if we are becoming an endangered species. It amazes me to watch my countrymen going about their business every day having completely forgotten who they are as Americans. We must somehow relearn our heritage of liberty....

I’m not sure the last part of that statement is true, but it doesn’t matter. There are more than enough conservatives to inflict a huge amount of economic pain on enterprises that take the left’s side in political and cultural disputes — if conservatives wake up to reality and are willing to fight back. I patronize twof the entities Baseball Coke No more. I turned down the opportunity offered by a good friend to attend Opening Day for the Washington Nationals. The weather is supposed to great, the pitching matchup (deGrom vs. Scherzer) could scarcely be better, and the Nationals...

With all the talk about "white privilege" and "critical race theory" too many remain silent about a growing new racism: the justification for "black privilege." Racism is racism no matter which race chooses to foster its application and wield it as a cultural weapon. Whites, driven into silence out of a false "racial guilt," are seeing more and more special benefits being created to right past wrongs against black Americans. resident Biden's new infrastructure bill has funds for black universities; diverse universities committed to equal rights for all races need not apply. In San Francisco, Lowell High School, one of...

The Democrats work hard to control law-abiding citizens, but part of the repression they visit on them is allowing criminals free rein. SNIP Defining leftist pols as progressive sticks in my craw. They are not. They are repressive. We rational people intent on living a meaningful, peaceful, and creative life, should be dubbed progressive if anyone is to be. Therefore, I am re-branding the leftists the Repressive party. Let’s call a spade a spade. Speaking of spades, the best way to keep from getting stuck in a hole is to stop digging it deeper. Seems obvious to me, but then...

It’s nearly 9:00 AM EDT Monday morning and I’ve got nothing. So I declare it officially Mutt-Day.Don’t eat all of your Easter rabbits, you might want one for later. So let you ears flap in the early spring breeze. While you contemplate the content and purpose of this Reuter’s story ask yourself not “are we being manipulated?” but rather by whom?China reports biggest daily COVID-19 case jump in over two months(Reuters) - China reported its biggest daily jump in new COVID-19 cases in more than two months, as a city on the border with Myanmar in southwestern Yunnan province accounted for all new...

Corporate titans tripping over themselves to be “woke” by condemning election integrity laws like Georgia’s SB 202 are failing in their duty to focus on running their companies profitably, ironically instead pushing an agenda that other nations show destroys private business under one-party socialist rule. As a shareholder in the ownership of a major sports franchise and a former partner in a broadcast company, I could do whatever I want with profits once they were in my personal pocket. But I could not treat shareholders’ money that way when serving on a board or as a corporate officer because I’ve...

Rather than giving something back to those Western nations taking them in, Muslims willingly residing in the West are exhorted to hate, disavow, cajole, and spy on their benefactors. Not only are Muslims living in the West supposed to hate their “infidel” host nations and neighbors; they are supposed to spy on them by serving as Islam’s “eye” on the West. As discussed here, numerous online fatwas -- that is, decrees written by authoritative Muslim scholars (ulema), appearing on respected Islamic websites -- insist that Islamic law (shari‘a) requires Muslims living in the West to maintain “enmity and hatred” for...

Over on ABC [fake] News, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie basically caused a lying Democrat activist to go into convulsions on set when he repeatedly corrected her lies defending the lies China Joe has been spreading about the Georgia voting law.

....But in the “anti-racism” hysteria that has gripped education and other segments of society, because trees were once used for lynching, they now are worrisome symbols that might offend… somebody. Somebody with a very low IQ, it seems to me. I’m so old that I remember when environmental extremists were derisively called “tree huggers,” a term which now must be held by some in positions of authority to be vaguely racist. Consider this absurd worry from the Portland School Board, via the New York Post: A Portland high school delayed a vote to change its mascot to an evergreen tree...

EXCLUSIVE: The Democratic National Committee is hitting the road in its latest campaign to tout President Biden's $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief plan and call out Republicans who voted against it. The DNC will unveil billboards Monday in 20 states to thank Biden and Democratic senators for approving $1,400 stimulus checks. The monthlong ad campaign, targeted for high-traffic areas near airports, will also remind motorists that their GOP senators opposed the payments to 127 million Americans. In Orlando, Florida, for example, the new billboard on State Road 528 along the route to the airport shames GOP Sens. Rick Scott and Marco...

"The act of participating in our country's election process is our civic responsibility and instrumental to our country's foundation. We should promote increasing voter turnout as opposed to any measures that adversely impact the ability to cast a ballot. In November, the Marlins proudly set out to promote the vote with our Election Day Feed the Polls initiative, providing meals to voters as our local election officials conducted free and fair elections. We support the Commissioner's decision to stand up for the values of our game and not hold this year's All-Star Game in the state of Georgia."

A's for arthritis; B's the bad back, C's the chest pains, perhaps car-di-ac? D is for dental decay and decline, E is for eyesight, can't read that top line! F is for fissures and fluid retention, G is for gas which I'd rather not mention. H high blood pressure--I'd rather it low; I for incisions with scars you can show. J is for joints, out of the socket, won't mend, K is for knees that crack when they bend. L 'S for libido, what happened to sex? M is for memory, I forget what comes next. N is neuralgia, in...

President Reagan was famously optimistic. He will forever be remembered for “Morning in America,” the campaign ad that inspired his 1984 landslide re-election, and for his policies that revived American confidence at home and abroad. But the caricatured version of Reagan as a perpetually grinning and genial old man does him a disservice. He was multifaceted and just as capable of stern warning as of sunny optimism. Reagan first appeared on the scene politically in October 1964, campaigning for the doomed candidacy of Sen. Barry Goldwater. He delivered a powerful televised address called “A Time for Choosing,” that galvanized conservatives...

Hawaii is an American gem, a collection of island paradises that one can travel to in a reasonable period of time from most of the US mainland. Hawaii poses no issues with language, currency, or cell phone service. The climate is wonderful, with beaches, palm trees, and sea breezes. Under COVID however, visiting Hawaii is more like checking into prison with myriad rules and procedures, including monitored quarantine and GPS bracelets. Virtually all countries requiring a COVID test for admission allow the standard PCR test now available ubiquitously in any pharmacy, lab, or parking lot test center. But not Hawaii....
