When Intelligence Is Evil, Only The Moron Is Virtuous

There’s no one attribute that can be definitively pointed to that will lead to success. Ambition, determination, talent, all can help, but I’ve known too many people with one or two of these who never amounted to anything.

The same can be said of intelligence.

However, let’s also acknowledge that while intelligence doesn’t guarantee success, it’s far better to have it than not. At least, that’s the case if you want to get ahead in life.

Yet continuing an ongoing theme of late, it seems that intelligence is racist somehow.

A University of Cincinnati graduate assistant wrote that “intelligence is a White man’s mythology.”

“Stop calling your female colleagues ‘smart,’ or ‘clever,’ or ‘brilliant,’” wrote Mel Andrews, who studies cognition and evolution. “It’s sexist and infantilising… it shouldn’t be surprising to you in 2021 that women are capable of thought.”

Yet when intelligence, or even the mention of it, is considered evil, then only the morons are virtuous. That works out well for the wokesters for what should be obvious reasons.

I saw a show about chimpanzees that convinced me that many chimps are smarter than many humans.

The experiment showed that the smart beta chimp will use cunning and trickery to hide a banana from an alpha chimp.

Smart chimps don’t believe in obeying the “leaders”—neither should smart people.
