The “Great Reset”: The same old “New World Order” - Third Wave bringing in a multi-tribal global cult “That which has been is that which shall be; and that which has been done is that which shall be done; and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there a thing of which it may be said, Behold, this is new? It has been long ago, in the ages which were before us.” - King Solomon There is no doubt that the incredible advancements we have seen in technologies, sciences, and other fields have given modern civilizations unparalleled capabilities...

A recent article by Ben Zeistloft in the Daily Wire began with these deeply troubling words: “Abortion is the leading cause of death in America.” The article was titled, “5 Disturbing Findings from Planned Parenthood’s Annual Report,” but there could have been one more item added: everything listed took place under the Trump administration. That is also deeply troubling (and in saying that, I am not blaming Trump).Like many of you, one of the main reasons I voted for Donald Trump was because of his pro-life stance, especially in stark contrast with the positions of Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and...

I couldn’t sleep last night, which is no different than most nights except that instead of laying in the dark I perused the offerings of Stars On Demand and selected Good Will Hunting, the 1997 Ben Affleck/Matt Damon written movie that won wild acclaim at the time but I’d never seen. It was awful with a capital A. Despite all the acclaim it is a schlocky piece of badly written, overacted tripe which nevertheless kept me company for an hour and half of wokeness. I can’t help but feel my time would have been better spent watching the Friday-up-all-night Diners,...

Former President Trump released a new tranche of endorsements as he asserts himself as the leader of the Republican Party going into the 2022 midterms. In a trio of endorsements Friday evening, Trump announced his support for South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) and Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo (R), both of whom are running for reelection, and Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin (R), who is running to be his state’s attorney general. In his endorsements, Trump cast the lawmakers as staunch supporters of an array of conservative values, touting their stances on immigration, gun rights and more. Trump said McMaster...

He wasn't the first governor in the country to lift the mask mandate for his state. North Dakota, Montana and Iowa have ended state-wide mask orders in recent weeks and progressive states like Florida and South Dakota never issued them in the first place. But Gov. Greg Abbott did the country a huge favor this week when he announced that Texas was allowing all businesses in the state to reopen at full capacity on March 10. It was a loud and bold signal to the whole country that it's time to climb out of our basements, regain our freedoms and...

I started watching this show with an open mind. If there is evidence of Chinese expeditions to the Americas that pre-date Columbus, then I don't have a problem with that. But the flaws in the case presented began adding up, almost from the beginning. On top of that, I couldn't help but get a CCP vibe from some of the Chinese 'experts' being interviewed. Anyway, have at it, history buffs, and let's see if we can catalog all the false or misleading conclusions/claims that were made.

About two years ago I visited Cambodia. While there I wrote this January 2019 post, which focused on the “killing fields” genocide that swept Cambodia in 1975-79, during the rule of the Khmer Rouge and their leader Pol Pot. In connection with my trip, I bought the Ben Kiernan history titled “The Pol Pot Regime,” which I have just now gotten around to reading. Why my fascination with Cambodia in the day of the Khmer Rouge? It is one of the clearest modern instances of leftist/socialist ideology put into practice and then pushed to its logical conclusion. Highly educated elitists...

So far, President Biden has not been nearly as loquacious as former president Donald Trump. Biden’s Twitter feed is pretty dull and his encounters with the media have been carefully controlled — a question here and there, a CNN-hosted town hall and no full-length presidential news conference yet. Biden has not held a full-length news conference even though he has been president for 44 days, beating the previous laggard, President George W. Bush, who waited 33 days. (President Barack Obama held his first news conference on his 20th day and Trump on his 27th. Presidents Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush...

Close to one year after the vast majority of public schools decided to suspend in-person learning due to the coronavirus, a new report shows just how much this misguided decision has negatively impacted the mental health of students across America.“The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on mental health, particularly on that of young people,” according to a recently released report titled “The Impact of COVID-19 on Pediatric Mental Health.”The new report, far from anecdotal, “analyzed data from its database of over 32 billion private healthcare claim records, tracking month-by-month changes from January to November 2020 compared to the...

“Cleanse your hands . . . and purify your hearts” (James 4:8). Clean hands and a pure heart will always characterize the humble. Hands represent our behavior, the pattern of our outward actions. Scripture uses that symbol when it encourages people to abandon their sinful behavior: “So when you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you, yes, even though you multiply prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are full of bloodshed” (Isa. 1:15). Today’s verse uses “hands” in reference to the Jewish ceremonial requirements. The priests were required to wash their hands before...

What does the cloud of witnesses from Hebrews 12:1 have to say to you and me? Simply this: “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers” (1 Peter 3:12). I don’t believe this great crowd of heavenly witnesses would speak to us about holding to complicated theologies or doctrines. I believe they would speak to us in the simplicity of truth: The author of Hebrews witnesses to us that we are to look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. We are to keep preaching the victory of...

The U.S. oil and gas business is already in a modest boom, and the Biden Administration will be powerless to stop it from growing. Here’s an excerpt from a piece I wrote yesterday: The history of the oil and gas business in the United States is that every time the “experts” all line up to declare it to be dead, it finds a way to come roaring back. This scenario has played itself out at least half a dozen times across my own 42-year career in the business or writing about it. Well, guess what: It appears to be happening...

Leading Democrats say January 6 witnessed an armed insurrection at the national capitol. Now the FBI says no guns were confiscated at the national capitol. We are left to surmise it was therefore an unarmed insurrection, once called a demonstration. It’s hard to know which of these two institutions -- the Democrat Party or the FBI -- is lying because both have been caught out in big lies, not in long-ago eras but recently. Maybe both are lying and just neglected to coordinate again. On the one hand that’s reassuring; it means the same liars not actually in charge of...

Tesla may be synonymous with electric vehicles right now. But within a few years, GM, Volvo and many other manufacturers will be making mostly or only EVs, because they’re emission-free, climate-friendly, socially and ecologically responsible, and more affordable every year. Which explains why we need subsidies to persuade people to buy them, and mandates to force people to buy them. resident Biden wants all new light/medium-duty vehicles sold by 2035 to be EVs. Vice President Harris wants only ZEVs (zero emission vehicles) on America’s roads by 2045. Various states are considering or have already passed similar laws; some would even...

PORT HURON, MI -- A 31-year-old Port Huron woman shot a man in the neck Sunday morning after she claimed he tried to break into her home. The woman’s neighbor in the 900 block of Huron Avenue in Port Huron called police at 5:07 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, to report that a disorderly male was yelling for help in the street. Minutes later, a female resident of a home on the block, called 911 stating she had shot someone trying to break into her home. She was home alone with a small child, according to a Port Huron Police Department...

....In our own time, collectivist regimes do not grant individuals much consideration. In Nazi Germany, a Jew was treated as a Jew, regardless of his own personal actions, and in Soviet Russia, a class enemy often suffered the punishment due his class status in brutal imprisonment or death. In North Korea, even the grandchildren of those who defected or fought the communists in the Korean War are looked upon as part of a tainted, suspect group. As a result of similar collectivist thinking, Americans these days frequently find their individuality eclipsed by the group identity assigned to them. Furthermore, the...

This morning, I realized that everything is about to change. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same. I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life— so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone. You can't justify this insanity. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind! We see...
