An Arizona State University Associate Dean penned a 358-page book detailing how grading studentâs writing is a form of racism and white supremacy. In a book titled âLabor-Based Grading Contracts: Building Equity and Inclusion in the Compassionate Writing Classroom,â professor Asao Inoue encourages teachers to ditch grading for a âlabor-basedâ grading system wherein students earn grades based on their effort. The quality of a studentâs writing would not help or hinder their course grade. âThis book focuses on one kind of grading contract, one that calculates final course grades purely by the labor students complete, not by any judgments of...

U.S.âeBay today released a statement that they will be pulling Mein Kampf from their site after the shocking discovery that Hitler drew a Chinese character in the margin who was eating with chopsticks. âWe are horrified and saddened to discover that Adolph Hitler engaged in racist caricatures like this,â said a spokesman for eBay. âAll of us deeply regret that customers enjoying a nice socialist manifesto were unwillingly exposed to such harmful bigotry. We express our deepest apologies and hope our oversight about Hitler has not contributed to racial violence against the Chinese.â Other major distributors quickly followed suit,...

Imagine the following hypothetical situation: Frank and Ellen meet at a night course and end up getting drinks together after class several times. The drinks start to feel like dates, so Ellen asks Frank if he is married, making it clear that adultery is a deal-breaker for her. Frank is married, but he lies and says he is single. The two go to bed. Is Frank guilty of rape? To most people, even those who consider Frank a dishonorable creep, the answer is clearly no. The law agrees: In most American jurisdictions, Frank is not liable for any tort or...

Gas prices are on the rise nationwide, and former Shell Oil president John Hofmeister is concerned that they may go even higher with the Biden administration now in office. Crude oil prices are currently rallying, driving the national average for gas prices to $2.75 as of Thursday morning, based on AAA reports — and that number is expected to increase. Hofmeister spoke with Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria” segment Thursday to address the root cause of why Americans are currently paying more at the pump. “The reason gasoline is coming back up is we’ve been in a...

The 6 a.m. Monday blast in the the 600 block of Central Avenue displaced neighbors as police and firefighters responded to the scene, the Riverside Police Department said in a news release. Fire investigators determined the cause of the fire was a butane honey oil lab that was set up inside one of the apartments, where they spotted empty butane canisters, hash oil extract and marijuana plants, according to police. Cybersecurity group FireEye said Thursday it found evidence that hackers linked to the Chinese regime exploited a flaw in a Microsoft email application to go after a number of American targets, including a university and local governments. FireEye analysts wrote in a blog post that the company built “higher-fidelity detections” and launched multiple threat hunting campaigns after Microsoft confirmed earlier this week that a Chinese state-sponsored hacking group known as “Hafnium” had exploited vulnerabilities in Microsoft’s Exchange Server email program. Using its array of detection methods and tools, FireEye found that “the activity reported by Microsoft aligns with our observations”...

Hong Kong has been dropped from The Heritage Foundation’s Index of Economic Freedom this year because its economic policies are controlled by Beijing. Hong Kong topped the list for 25 years till 2019. Financial experts in Hong Kong believe that the Chinese communist regime’s rapid encroachment on Hong Kong’s freedom has accelerated the deterioration of Hong Kong’s economic environment. On Mar. 4, the Heritage Foundation released the index for 2021. Singapore ranked as the world’s freest economy for the second year. Both Hong Kong and Macau are special administrative regions of China that are no longer included in the Index...

Eight Democratic senators joined Republicans in rejecting raising the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour over five years after it was proposed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), Jon Tester (D-Mont.), Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.), Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), Tom Carper (D-Del.), Chris Coons (D-Del.), and Angus King (I-Vt.)—who caucuses with Democrats—opposed the measure, joining all Republicans in the upper chamber. Coons and Carper are considered two close allies of President Joe Biden, who was formerly a senator from Delaware. The final vote tally was 42–58, falling far short of the 60 votes needed to...

Welcome back to Day 45 of The Biden* Occupation! CPAC has come and gone, and thankfully my concerns that The Radical Left would choose it as their next battleground to engage some psy-ops turned out to be wrong. Apparently having a Governor like Ron DeSantis probably made Florida a less appealing staging ground than DC. On to the crazy! 2/26 - WATCH: CNN’s Jim Acosta Confronted at CPAC — ‘Cuomo Killed 10,000 People and You Want to Talk About Ted Cruz!’There was a time where I would have said that the dude confronting Acosta was an a-hole. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said former President Donald Trump was still the “dominant force in the Republican Party” in a preview clip from an interview that will air Sunday on HBO’s “Axios.” Reporter Jonathan Swan said, “Trump flags crashed into the Capitol, five people died. You said yourself he tied to get Pence to do something illegal and unconstitutional. I just don’t get how after all of that, you go down to Mar-a-Lago, and you are best pals with him again.”

Itâs March of 2021, less than six months after the last Presidential election and barely a month after Joe Biden was sworn in, and yet the 2024 horse race silliness is well under way. It feels like every other day or so there is a new poll out on who Republicans prefer to be the partyâs nominee in 2024 and even decidedly unscientific findings â like the CPAC straw poll â are touted as tea leaves to be read about the future of the Republican Party.

---SNIP--- Now, Bruno Cua sits in jail in Washington, D.C. awaiting trial for his involvement in the January 6 Capitol breach, the youngest of the nearly 300 people so far arrested under the U.S. Justice Department’s “unprecedented” investigation into the events of that day. Unlike tens of thousands of protestors who occupied the nation’s capital for months—including young people who bragged about it in a Washington Post magazine—Cua will be given no mercy. Neither will his parents, Joseph and Alise.
