National Review covered Salon’s hit piece on Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK), which tried to accuse him of lying about his military record. But there’s a small part in the National Review article that should drive everyone mad. At Salon, Roger Sollenberger claimed that completing Ranger School does not make one an actual Ranger. He also insisted that the military agrees with him. I emphasized the important part: In his first run for Congress, Cotton leaned heavily on his military service, claiming to have been “a U.S. Army Ranger in Iraq and Afghanistan,” and, in a campaign ad, to have “volunteered...

With Tiong Bahru Bakery's new handwash (yes, you read that right), you'll be able to enjoy the buttery scent of baked goods without even leaving your house. The bakery is pretty much a household name thanks to its French pastries and artisanal bread, but it's expanding its offerings with Brioche N°5, a brioche-inspired handwash that will be going on sale on Friday (Jan 29). With a cruelty-free formula and a custom scent created by local fragrance house Oo La Lab, the handwash is "a treat...

The woman, who only wished to be known as Leong, told AsiaOne she purchased the dress from a store on Shopee. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has accused the Republican leader of the House, Kevin McCarthy, of being controlled by QAnon-supporting members of Congress, claiming the party has had an influx of 'legitimate white supremacists' into its ranks. The New York congresswoman appeared on MSNBC on Wednesday night and was asked about shocking behavior by Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. Greene, who openly supports the QAnon conspiracy theory - the idea that Donald Trump was sent to save the world from a cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles, working in the 'deep state' - has found herself in the spotlight for her social media posts.

Last week, Biden’s newly appointed White House climate czar Gina McCarthy said, “Biden has committed to 100% clean power by 2035.…We are going to get there because we will not be stopped.” Wind, especially, is touted as a symbol of clean power. It is common to see the image of a wind turbine on pamphlets or reports that address the transition to clean energy. But the shocking truth is that wind energy is impossible without fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are not merely a supporting source, but the very foundation of wind turbines and the energy derived from them. The Institute...

While Biden only signed two executive orders, his first order, “Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad Executive Order,” proved a monstrosity with no fewer than seven separate aspects. The order directs the federal government to place the so-called “climate crisis” at the center of U.S. foreign policy and national security concerns. This involves: committing the U.S. to the Paris climate agreement; scheduling a Leaders’ Climate Summit on Earth Day, April 22, 2021; creating a new climate envoy (John Kerry) for the National Security Council; and directing the Director of National Intelligence to prepare a report on climate change....

As part of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s continuing efforts to protect consumers from potentially dangerous or subpotent hand sanitizers, the agency has placed all alcohol-based hand sanitizers from Mexico on a countrywide import alert to help stop products that appear to be in violation from entering the U.S. until the agency is able to review the products’ safety. Over the course of the ongoing pandemic, the agency has seen a sharp increase in hand sanitizer products from Mexico that were labeled to contain ethanol (also known as ethyl alcohol) but tested positive for methanol contamination. Methanol, or wood...

The Michigan Senate refused to confirm 13 individuals appointed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to various state boards and commissions on Wednesday. In a party-line vote, the Senate’s GOP majority defeated the nominations 19-14. On Jan. 13, Republican state Sen. Jim Stamas stated in a press release that Whitmer’s appointments would be rejected until the administration ended COVID lockdowns and permitted the state to reopen. “The governor is continuing punitive lockdowns and jeopardizing lives and livelihoods — while state government has largely been unaffected,” said Stamas, R-Midland. “People have suggested that the governor and her department heads not get paid until...

It’s clear that one of Walmart’s competitive advantages is our stores. And today, stores are transforming to serve more and more purposes – we’re using them to fill pickup and delivery orders, make Walmart.com deliveries and more. We have a great operation that will serve us well for years to come, but we aren’t stopping there. Our customers love the speed and convenience of pickup and delivery, and we’re committed to finding faster ways to serve them, which is why we’re scaling the number of stores that will also serve as local fulfillment centers. We’re already planning dozens of locations,...

GameStop shows the power of millions of small fries being able to destroy the billion dollar hedge funds. How can we use non-violent disruptive acts to destroy liberal funding sources, institutions, and beliefs? Small acts can create big waves. My suggestion is that his gender sports EO. Have a dozen conservative boys show up for girls basketball tryout just take over. Once they start winning every game it’ll collapse the ridiculous EO. A “collapse the system” approach but by our side. Someone actually did this for a weightlifting competition. “Identified as a woman” to get in. Set a state record....
