The Chinese regime has been actively growing its fleet of military drones to spy on and compete with adversaries such as the United States, a leaked document from China’s Ministry of National Defense reveals. The July 2017 document, supplied to The Epoch Times by a trusted source, described Beijing’s ambition to dominate what it called “full dimensional warfare”—referring to control over sea, land, air, space, and the electromagnetic spectrum where military equipment communicate—by developing advanced military drones. To accomplish the above, the regime detailed a plan to design one to two types of small, long-range drones and establish a factory...

Just as the restaurant industry is shifting, Seattle company Picnic believes the world might now be ready for its pizza-making robot. The Picnic Pizza System stole the show at last year's CES technology convention in Las Vegas. The robot wowed convention-goers by quickly rolling out hundreds of customized pizzas, each with different toppings, sizes and even making half-and-half pizzas — all with precision and little food waste. However, in the restaurant industry, there has been a stigma on automation. The coronavirus pandemic may be starting to change that, said Picnic CEO Clayton Wood. “There’s a unique labor problem in that...

A member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives has filed a bill that calls for the establishment of a Bigfoot hunting season in the state. The audacious idea is reportedly the brainchild of Rep. Justin Humphrey, who reportedly put forward the proposal on Wednesday. The fairly succinct resolution, which can be read here, states that "The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission shall promulgate rules establishing a big foot [sic] hunting season. The Commission shall set annual season dates and create any necessary specific hunting licenses and fees." It remains to be seen whether or not the bill will wind up receiving...

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius announced Wednesday that it will be dropping former President Donald Trump and the Trump Organization as tax clients. “We have had a limited representation of the Trump Organization and Donald Trump in tax-related matters,” a Morgan Lewis spokeswoman told Law.com, Bloomberg Law and Thomson Reuters Legal. “For those matters not already concluded, we are transitioning as appropriate to other counsel.” Law360 reports on one ongoing matter—a probe seeking information on whether the Trump Organization inflated the value of property donated for a conservation easement to claim a higher tax deduction. On Tuesday, Judge Arthur Engoron of...

Parler, the social network favored by conservatives and Donald Trump supporters, shared messages of support from Fox News host Sean Hannity and Senator Rand Paul on Wednesday as it continued to fight for survival. The main platform remains offline as of Thursday morning after its account with hosting giant Amazon Web Services was suspended last Monday for its alleged failure to adequately moderate extreme posts from its 12 million-strong user base. The company's mobile apps were pulled offline by Apple and Google last weekend and only a static web page remains, kept online by Russian firm DDoS-Guard. Despite the full...

The pompous idiots on the political left act as if their belief in “science” confers unimpeachable credibility on whatever disastrous policy they’re bloviating about at any given time. Whether it’s man-made global warming or the efficacy of lockdowns, face masks or hydroxychloroquine for fighting COVID-19, they shut down debate, insisting that their version of “science” has all the definitive answers — even when it doesn’t. And yet when it comes to their asinine social justice agenda, anything remotely scientific, rational or commonsense is quickly replaced with whatever the prevailing political winds are blowing toward at the moment. The worst of...

D.C. is fenced off and the President is never going back to the White House. But not for reasons you may be thinking. Fear not, there will be a new capitol built and an end to income taxes paid to the tax collectors of the Corporation that is now in the hands of a new administration. They went to all the trouble to steal a corporation whose assetts are in the process of being seized. Most did not see this coming for they did not even know their nation was a Corporation. But, it is indeed but now, no more...

...Krugman offered his sage observations about the inauguration on Twitter on Wednesday. He sent tweets about Janet Yellen, who is Biden’s choice for treasury secretary....After praising the new American king taking his throne as a return to Democrat normalcy, where peace, justice, diversity, and Janet Yellen would reign, the worldly Nobel Laureate, detected a sour note to the proceedings....And like that all-American man he is, Krugman wondered why on earth the band struck up “God Save the King” at the inaugural....

The NYSE initially said it would delist China Unicom, China Mobile and China Telecom on 7 January based on a Donald Trump executive order. After a surprising U-turn in which the US stock exchange changed its mind it eventually settled on delisting them. Following Mr Trump's departure from the White House, the three companies have now requested a review from the NYSE. In near-identical statements the telecoms firms, which are state-backed in China, said they "had complied strictly with the laws and regulations, market rules as well as regulatory requirements".

About Us It should be apparent that after decades of trying to win from within the GOP, conservatives are just beating their heads against a wall which hasn’t budged. Every now and then, we’ve been treated to the appearance of budging, but they have always reverted to form shortly thereafter. Without serious changes to rules within the GOP and within the houses of congress, removing speakers like Paul Ryan or majority leaders like McConnell won’t result in the changes we need to right the nation’s course. As we’ve seen, you lose one guy who won’t represent the electorate and you...

The Biden administration wants to root out and eliminate what it believes to be an offensive word from every federal law. The immigration bill President Joe Biden is sending Congress aims to appease progressives and illegal immigrants who want to be called something more pleasing to the ear than the current federal definition. The word “alien” has peppered laws concerning those who are not American citizens since the 1798 Alien and Sedition Act. “The bill further recognizes America as a nation of immigrants by changing the word ‘alien’ to ‘noncitizen’ in our immigration laws,” a Biden transition team news release...

Bali authorities made wearing a face mask in public mandatory last year as Indonesia battled a raging Covid-19 outbreak. Foreigners caught not wearing face masks on the Indonesian resort island of Bali are being subject to an unusual punishment: push-ups. Video footage circulating on social media this week shows tourists in T-shirts and shorts being made to do the exercise in sweltering tropical heat as masked security officials stood over them. More than 70 people paid a fine of 100,000 rupiah ($7), but about 30 others said they did not have the cash. Instead, they were ordered to do push-ups....

A couple of quotes for you that I thought you like: "Being able to fight for something you believe in is a blessing not a curse." "Americans are basically friendly hospital people, but we can at times hold a grudge, I mean look we beat the British in 1776 and we still celebrate it."

After Chinese President Xi Jinping assumed the top job in his country, “I congratulated him on his elevation, I asked if he could possibly help me,” Biden said to laughter from the assembled US and Chinese dignitaries. “I’ve had the great pleasure and honor of spending a fair amount of time with President Xi when President Hu and President Obama thought the two vice presidents could – should get to know one another,” added the now-Democratic presidential nominee. “We ended up spending about 10 days together, five in each of our countries traveling around, and you get to know someone...

Amnesty for illegal immigrants is bad for American workers, according to a tweet from GOP Senate Leader Mitch McConnell. “A proposal to gut immigration enforcement and give blanket amnesty? Rough ‘day one’ for American workers,” said the tweet. The failed Paris deal will hurt American families while China and Russia grow emissions. The Keystone cancellation will kill union jobs and hurt U.S. energy security. And a proposal to gut immigration enforcement and give blanket amnesty?
