So, I checked out thedonald.win after someone referred me to it on here hoping to spread a message of unity and conservatism but jeeez... All I got was abuse and fighting. Are they children? Younger people? F this, F that in comments to me. The don't like Rand much. Heck, I don't think they like anyone. I know this is a difficult time but I tried to reach out and point out we're on the same side but it falls on deaf ears. I like FreeRepublic because it is a more mature place. Yes there are heated debates but I...

President-elect Joe Biden will sign an executive order when he enters office Jan. 20 blocking any “midnight regulations” from President Trump that haven’t gone into effect by Inauguration Day, his incoming White House spokeswoman said. “We’re announcing today that, like other incoming administrations have done before, the Biden-Harris White House will issue a memo to take effect on the afternoon Eastern Time on January 20 that will halt or delay midnight regulations, actions taken by the Trump administration that will not have taken effect by Inauguration Day,” Jen Psaki said Wednesday.

Bobby Piton testified in the AZ State hearing in late November about ghost voters and other anomalies. He was banned by Twitter during his compelling testimony. He has spent over 400 hours researching abnormalities with voter names and registrations. Liz Harris then rounded up several hundred patriot volunteers who knocked on these doors looking to find what Piton calls “phantom sleeper” and suspicious Undefined or “U” voters. They are not eligible to vote for a variety of reasons. He estimated there are 160,000 to 400,000 of these illegal voters in Arizona.

Joe Biden is expected to receive Secret Service protection with a new team that is more familiar to him and replacing some agents amid concerns that they may be politically allied with Donald Trump. In a changing of the guard as well as the man to be guarded at the White House, Biden’s security detail will undergo some staffing changes, the Washington Post reported on Thursday. Several “senior” Secret Service agents are poised to return to the president-elect’s protection team and Biden knows these agents well because they guarded him and his family during his time as vice-president, according to...

I’m an optimist by nature. When you come from where I came from and end up where I’ve ended up in life, you almost could not be otherwise. And boy, that’s a good thing, given the year we have just been through and the year we all are facing in 2021. Of all the times and places in world history to be born, I was born in 1956 in the United States of America. Not only that, I was born in Texas and have been blessed to live my entire life here. Folks, it don’t get no luckier than that....

Congressional leaders passed a new stimulus package meant to alleviate the financial pain of the coronavirus, but it won’t cure all that ails PennDOT’s pocketbook. PennDOT press secretary Alexis Campbell said Monday afternoon it wasn’t clear if the relief plan will cover the $600 million funding gap plaguing PennDOT. Early media reports indicate that $10 billion of financial relief could be distributed to the 50 states’ highway systems, though it’s unclear how much would come Pennsylvania’s way. State Sen. Pat Browne, a Lehigh County Republican and longtime chairperson of the Appropriations Committee, said Tuesday that transportation-specific wording included in the...

Across the country, there is general consensus that 2020 has been the "worst year ever." According to studies, 82% of Americans agree that 2020 has been a terrible year of unprecedented suffering and misery. Experts confirmed that 2020 was indeed the worst year, provided you have never lived in virtually any other time period in all of human history. "We noticed that most of the respondents who called 2020 the worst year also enjoyed delicious food being delivered to them for 8 months while they sat on their couches with the air conditioning on and binge-watched shows the whole time,"...

While most of us prepare to welcome in the New Year, the FBI and local law enforcement agents in Nashville, Tennessee are still trying to piece together the story of Anthony Warner and how he wound up blowing himself up, along with most of a city block, on Christmas morning. One of the potentially key individuals who has been mentioned repeatedly in the early days of the investigation is a “mystery woman” from California to whom Warner transferred the deeds for two properties in the past couple of years. Her name is Michelle Swing and she’s an executive in the...

Actress Susan Sarandon is calling on far-left lawmakers in Congress to refuse to vote for Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) as House Speaker as a means to “force” Pelosi to bring a vote to the floor on Medicare for All. “I believe a better world is possible & at this moment we have a real shot at Medicare for All by fighting to #ForceTheVote, which is why I’ve joined the @PeoplesParty_US Advisory Council,” tweeted Sarandon on Monday. “I want a party that guarantees racial justice, economic justice, a livable climate — now that we’re in a catastrophe right now, free college, a...

WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service today reminded taxpayers of a special new provision that will allow more people to easily deduct up to $300 in donations to qualifying charities this year. Following special tax law changes made earlier this year, cash donations of up to $300 made before December 31, 2020, are now deductible when people file their taxes in 2021. "Our nation's charities are struggling to help those suffering from COVID-19, and many deserving organizations can use all the help they can get," said IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig. "The IRS reminds people there's a new provision that allows...

United Torah Judaism MK Yisrael Eichler today tested COVID-19 positive, after receiving the first dose of the vaccine ten days ago. His office said that "MK Eichler is feeling well with Heaven's help." When COVID-19 first appeared, Eichler's spiritual patron was the Rebbe of Belz, Rabbi Issachar Dov Rokeach, a prominent spiritual figure who disagreed with Health Ministry conduct. Against the background of the arrival of the vaccines in Israel and reservations among haredim about the vaccines, many rabbis and public figures were waiting to hear the Rebbe's position. An indication of the Belzer Rebbe's attitude towards the vaccine may...

CNN Business)Microsoft said Thursday that the suspected Russian hackers behind a massive US government security breach also viewed some of the company's source code. The unauthorized access does not appear to have compromised any Microsoft (MSFT) services or customer data, the company said in a blog post. But an investigation showed that the attackers took advantage of their access to Microsoft's systems to view company code. "We detected unusual activity with a small number of internal accounts and upon review, we discovered one account had been used to view source code in a number of source code repositories," Microsoft said....

While the world has its eyes on vaccines to stop the spread of coronavirus, therapeutics are still necessary to treat hospitalized patients. One of these treatments, remdesivir, is the first and only antiviral agent of its kind that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved so far for COVID-19.Research at the University of Cincinnati, however, contends that this antiviral drug is being used too indiscriminately when treating patients hospitalized with the virus. The study is published in the journal Fundamental & Clinical Pharmacology. . . . In the UC study, lead author Bingfang Yan, a pharmaceutical scientist, and...

When I was 23, I spent a summer working as a counselor at an overnight camp for eight-to-12-year-olds near the central mountain town of Genesee, Colorado. After a stern talking-to about what might happen if anyone went to bed with a snack in their sleeping bags—bears, people!—we’d zip the kids into their tents for the night, lock up the cabin containing our kitchen, and try to catch a few hours of sleep. One morning around 5:30, after a particularly long night of comforting tearful, homesick tweens, I dragged myself into the kitchen for coffee. Two other counselors were already there,...
