The best present this holiday season came in a small package, parachuted into the Australian desert from far within our Solar System on 5 December 2020. Inside, astronomers were delighted to unwrap the first significant samples of a rocky asteroid which is currently 9 million kilometres (5.6 million miles) away, and returned to Earth in "perfect" shape. Photographs of the pristine pebbles have finally been released, and while the tiny, black-coloured grains inside may resemble nothing more than dirty coal, this galactic gift is hardly a rebuke. It's the culmination of a five-year-long journey, requiring careful planning and execution. The...

Microsoft officially ended support for its one-time flagship operating system, Windows 7, at the start of 2020. As the year draws to a close, I ran the numbers to see how many PCs are still running this unsupported OS. Spoiler: It's a big number...With a heartfelt nod to Monty Python, Windows 7 would like you all to know that it's not dead yet.A year after Microsoft officially ended support for its long-running OS, a small but determined population of PC users would rather fight than switch. How many? No one knows for sure, but that number has shrunk substantially in...

Joe Biden’s America would look a lot like COVID-19 lockdowns if he does become president and that should terrify us all. It has been my contention since the Wuhan, China coronavirus hit America’s shores that the leaders of the Democratic Party would use the occasion to financially crush America’s middle-class. As stunning as that may sound, the truth is democrats need a permanent underclass as well as a perpetually expanding victim class they can exploit every couple of years to maintain their power in Washington D.C. and state capitols. This explains the left’s obsession with socialism and identity politics....

Joe Biden will face a host of difficulties and challenges when he assumes office on January 20, but perhaps none more consequential than deteriorating China-U.S. relations. It is the potential flashpoint of Taiwan that will have the greatest urgency. Many in Washington are advocating a shedding of the decades’ old policy of “strategic ambiguity,” in favor of an overt declaration that we would come to the defense of Taiwan if China ever seeks to reunify the island by force. Assumed in such advocacy is the presumption the U.S. Armed Forces would be able to successfully accomplish that mission. For at...

A group of anti-cop protesters attacked Minneapolis police officers following an officer-involved shooting Wednesday night. Officers reportedly shot an armed man who fired at them first, Minneapolis police officials stated. A tweet by Minneapolis Star-Tribune reporter Kim Hyatt revealed that police came under attack from a group of protesters. The group of more than 100 protesters reportedly threw bricks and ice balls at the officers. The incident followed an officer-involved shooting that left a felony suspect dead. Protesters gathered Wednesday night after an officer-involved shooting earlier in the evening. Minneapolis police officers shot and killed a man in an exchange...

In 2020, however, there were no positive results of the government’s sale of favors and corporatist policies. Millions are still out of work, not because they were bad employees, but because the government wouldn’t and still won’t let them work. Small businesses, the backbone of the American economy and our middle class, were devastated by government lockdown policies. And when the government did try to “help,” namely through the Covid relief bills, the main result was even more corruption and cronyism. Special interests received billions and average Americans were left with crumbs. And what did we gain from that? Nothing...

2020 has been a year that none of us will ever forget. We experienced the worst global pandemic in 100 years, we witnessed the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s, civil unrest erupted in major cities all over America, and we had one of the wildest presidential elections in our history. Other than that, it was a pretty quiet year. For a few moments, let’s take one more look back at the past 12 months. The following are 20 numbers from 2020 that are almost too crazy to believe…#1 When 2020 began, nobody had ever heard...

Russia is using its vaccine program for soft power diplomacy. On Tuesday, Argentina and Belarus became the first two countries to begin coronavirus vaccinations via the Sputnik V vaccine. Building on the Sputnik V vaccine's momentum, Russia is now claiming it has successfully developed the world's first "antidote" to COVID-19. According to RT News, Russia's Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) announced this week that an experimental drug to combat the virus is the world's first direct-acting antiviral antidote if clinical trials are successful. FMBA head Veronika Skvortsova has claimed that the experimental antidote is more than 99% effective. "This...

"Assuredly He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the descendant of Abraham. Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted" (Heb. 2:16-18). Jesus came to sympathize with us, so He could be our merciful and faithful High Priest. In his letters to...

The NBA is planning to roll out an ambitious aspect of its leaguewide contact tracing program by requiring players and many team staffers to wear sensor devices during all team-organized activities outside of games starting Jan. 7, according to a league memo obtained by ESPN. Only Tier 1 and Tier 2 individuals -- designations outlined in the league's health and safety protocols that include players and specific staff members, such as coaches -- will be required to wear Kinexon SafeZone contact sensor devices on the team plane, the team bus, during practices and to and from the arena or their...

Yesterday Senator Josh Hawley announced that he will object during the Electoral College certification process on Jan 6. He will call for Congress to launch a full investigation of potential fraud and election irregularities and enact election integrity measures. Several House Republicans have previously signaled their intention to do the same. With members of both the House and Senate planning objections, it’ll set off a dramatic scenario requiring a vote in both chambers. Representative-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) wrote in a tweet that the word on Capitol Hill is that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell may...

SANTA FE, N.M. - Lily Guido was having trouble hearing and she felt warm while talking to her co-worker at a California nursing home. She knew something was wrong. Fearing the coronavirus, Guido, 30, of Santa Rosa, California, didn’t go home to avoid possibly spreading it to her five children, isolating in a hotel room provided for health care workers like her. “They confirmed that I had COVID, and my husband was like, ‘Oh God, what’s going to happen?’” she said last week. “I couldn’t take it. I was in tears. I was in denial.” Out of work, her family’s...

OUR WASHINGTON DISPATCHES. WASHINGTON, Sunday, Dec. 30. Another prop of the Old Public Functionary has been knocked from under him. The resignation of Secretary FLOYD yesterday, after an excited Cabinet discussion, running through forty-eight hours, will surprise no one, after what is already known. Yet some details, from reliable authority, may be interesting. It appears that Secretary FLOYD, with the full knowledge and consent of the President, pledged his honor that no change should be made in the position of affairs in Charleston harbor, -- South Carolina giving a pledge to respect all public property in the meantime, -- until...

Sen. Josh Hawley traded sharp words with Walmart’s corporate Twitter account on Wednesday over his contention of the 2020 election results, prompting the superstore giant to apologize to the Missouri Republican. After announcing his intention to challenge President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral victory Wednesday, Walmart’s Twitter account responded, “Go ahead. Get your 2 hour debate. #soreloser,” in a since-deleted tweet. Hawley later shared a screenshot of the tweet, calling out Walmart for what he called “insulting condescension.”

One of the most bizarre features of the alleged COVID-19 ‘global pandemic’ has been the mysterious disappearance of the seasonal flu in medical and public health record keeping. It’s as if the Flu just vanished into thin air after being the most common perennial seasonal respiratory virus. As it turns out, recorded seasonal influenza cases have literally nosedived by 98% across the globe. This improbable phenomenon has led a number of experts to ask, “Has Covid killed off the flu?”“The disappearing act began as Covid-19 rolled in towards the end of our flu season in March. And just how swiftly rates have...

Yesterday’s round of bombshell testimony before the Georgia legislative committee revealed many things we did not know before. But buried in the slew of evidence demonstrating rampant voter fraud on and after election night was an anecdotal tale that, by itself, proves there was massive voter fraud in Cobb County.Debbie Fisher, who was part of the voter review panel during the general election, revealed major discrepancies and multiple instances of apparent attempts to cover them up. She noted that military ballots were often uniform, unfolded, and overwhelmingly came out in favor of former Vice President Joe Biden. Members of the...

Dr. Anthony Fauci said in a TV interview Thursday that is was “inevitable” that a new COVID-19 strain, which has ravaged the UK, has appeared in Colorado and California — and predicted its spread in the US. “We predicted it would be, when you have so much of it in the UK, which then spread to other countries in Europe and Canada, it was inevitable that it would be here,” Fauci said on NBC News’ “Today.”

Chief Justice John Roberts has faced many accusations over the years, particularly in the last few weeks as his weak leadership of the Supreme Court has seemed to be the primary roadblock to President Trump correcting the fraudulent 2020 election. He’s been accused of working to block the President’s reelection, of traveling to Epstein Island, and of a few other things. Most of the accusations have been debunked.A new accusation comes from attorney Lin Wood. The famed lawyer who has filed multiple lawsuits challenging the 2020 election has not been shy about sharing conspiracy theories, and this one definitely falls...
