Joe Biden will face a host of difficulties and challenges when he assumes office on January 20, but perhaps none more consequential than deteriorating China-U.S. relations. It is the potential flashpoint of Taiwan that will have the greatest urgency.
Many in Washington are advocating a shedding of the decades’ old policy of “strategic ambiguity,” in favor of an overt declaration that we would come to the defense of Taiwan if China ever seeks to reunify the island by force. Assumed in such advocacy is the presumption the U.S. Armed Forces would be able to successfully accomplish that mission. For at least three major reasons, those assumptions are badly misplaced.

The leadership of Taiwan is criminally negligent if they have not already arranged for nuclear weapons. If South Africa and Israel can develop nuclear weapons so can Taiwan. After that it is simply a matter of detonating a weapon over the straight during an invasion and letting the Reds know that the next one goes somewhere into the mainland.

Biden would be on the CCP side and would certainly not help Taiwan.

At a minimum we’re talking tens of millions of casualties and massive damage to the Chinese infrastructure.
But never do an enemy a small wrong. Destroying the infrastructure and forcing the remaining resources to be diverted to emergency management is just what it is necessary to stall PRC war efforts.
I would much rather the PRC just bought and sold and minded its own business. I haven’t figured what the PRC gained by suppressing HK or would gain by conquering Taiwan.

China has no more the 300 warheads, total.
Biden will cave to China like the weak house of cards he is, and in that I do not mean it just as regards Taiwan. I will say he “MUST” do as the EU and go far a cave-in “trade agreement” with China, which will do one thing as it will for the EU - Chinese superiority in trade rules.

The Chicoms don’t have a 1000 ICBMs capable of reaching the US.
And we were talking about a Taiwanese nuke.
The ChiComs will have their little lapdog Biden sleepily snuggling in their laps while they destroy Taiwan.
