China poses the greatest threat to America and the rest of the free world since World War II, outgoing National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe said Thursday as the Trump administration ramps up anti-Chinese rhetoric to pressure President-elect Joe Biden to be tough on Beijing. “The intelligence is clear: Beijing intends to dominate the U.S. and the rest of the planet economically, militarily and technologically,” Ratcliffe wrote in an op-ed published Thursday in The Wall Street Journal. “Many of China’s major public initiatives and prominent companies offer only a layer of camouflage to the activities of the Chinese Communist Party.” “I...

GUADALAJARA (Reuters) - Early next year, a Chinese businessman named Gan Xianbing will be sentenced in a Chicago courtroom for laundering just over $530,000 in Mexican cartel drug money. Gan, 50, was convicted in February of money laundering and operating an unlicensed money-transfer business that whisked cartel cash from U.S. drug sales offshore. Gan has maintained his innocence; his lawyers say he was entrapped by U.S. authorities. The trial garnered few headlines and little of the public fascination reserved for kingpins of powerful narcotics syndicates that U.S. federal prosecutors said Gan served. Still, U.S. law enforcement officials told Reuters that...

If we are creating antibodies to mRNA we are creating antibodies to our own proteins. And if we are creating antibodies to the mRNA nucleotides (the prongs) then we are creating an antibody to the corresponding segment of the DNA pair.If so we are creating antibodies AGAINST OUR OWN DNA!!!Now normally antibodies do not enter the cell so it may not be that bad, but Red Blood Cells extrude their nucleus in the bone marrow and if there is an antibody response (and thus inflammatory response, in the bone marrow it could severely damage the bone marrow (Normally macrophages just...

The Affordable Care Act—with its promise of reining in costs—was passed into law more than 10 years ago, yet today small businesses are still fighting the rising price tag of health care. One owner of a local restaurant chain here in Austin has told me that it’s precisely the flaws of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that make providing access to health care so burdensome for small business owners and their employees. With slightly more than 50 employees, he explained how he feels helpless with ACA in place. Countless times, employees have asked how to enroll in marketplace...

A mall Santa dropped the hammer on a little boy who asked him for a Nerf gun for Christmas — telling the bawling kid he wouldn’t bring him the toy. The politically correct Kris Kringle was caught on video asking the child what he wanted for the holiday, according to a Facebook post by the boy’s mother. The boy apparently mentioned a gun, because the Santa could be heard replying, “No, no guns.’’ When the kid’s mom, who was standing nearby, piped in just to be clear, “Nerf gun,’’ the not-so-jolly Ol’ St. Nick was still having none of it....

We’ve seen a lot of "Black Girl Magic" with appointments, elections and promises, and some brothers have been wondering, “What about us?” In March, during a presidential debate, Democratic candidate Joe Biden promised to name a Black woman to the U.S. Supreme Court. He won his party’s nomination, and he was urged to include a Black woman on the ticket. Enter Kamala Harris, now United States vice president-elect. He’s named a Black woman from Baker as the next United Nations ambassador. A Black woman will soon replace a Black woman as a Louisiana Supreme Court justice. My Black sisters have...

This factoid about the L0hengrin character is otherwise trivial to the story. It has no bearing on the plot, and feels tacked on solely for the benefit of the author’s desire to appease the reader. In fact, L0hengrin is quickly sidelined in the story, only popping up a few times, clearly only serving the purpose of assuring the reader that the white heterosexual cis-gendered male author is sufficiently woke enough to be a part of the club.

"We have come to the conclusion that President Biden can undo this debt, can forgive $50,000 of debt the first day he becomes president," he said outside his office in Manhattan on Monday, according to CNBC. "You don't need Congress. All you need is the flick of a pen." The comment comes...

The Virginia Military Institute removed a statue of Confederate Gen. Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson on Monday morning. A small group watched as the bronze figure was hoisted off its pedestal in front of the VMI barracks.
