Rudy Giuliani says that Republicans don't stand up to the Democrats. They had a chance in PA but decided to certify the election. They reason Republicans don't stand up is because they are in positions of power and the Democrats will intimidate them: they will dox them, hound them, threaten them and their family, put them through the courts so they are financially ruined like Michael Flynn. Now that the FBI and the DOJ are corrupt and won't do anything, people feel even more helpless. The FBI will sent 15 officers if you are race car driver named Bubba claiming...

John M. Pierce, a California lawyer who has employed war-like rhetoric in his advocacy and fundraising for Kyle Rittenhouse -- the 17-year-old accused of killing two men and wounding another during a night of unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin -- filed a motion to withdraw from Rittenhouse's criminal case, just hours after prosecutors alleged in a court filing Thursday that Pierce's reported financial problems raised ethical concerns and a potential conflict of interest.

Despite calls by Trump supporters for Republicans to withhold votes for Georgia GOP candidates in January's runoff election, GOP donors have been showing up big for the candidates, despite their refusal to back the president's claims of widespread election fraud.According to Bloomberg, GOP donors contributed $95 million to their party's Senate super-pac and party election committee between election day and Nov. 23 - over four times the $18 million Democrats contributed to similar groups over the same period. Granted, that time frame excludes much of the fervor over election fraud, or the fact that Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue...

Speaker Bowers was one of the top Arizona legislators who on Friday called for an immediate and “expeditious” forensic audit of the Dominion voting machines and software used in Maricopa County, due to concerns that the machines may have been used to assist in massive voter fraud. Spin-filtering could be the key to faster, more energy-efficient switching in future spintronic technology, allowing the detection of spin by electrical rather than magnetic means. A UNSW paper published last month demonstrates spin detection using a spin filter to separate spin orientation according to their energies. Ultra-fast, ultra-low energy 'spintronic' devices are an exciting, beyond-CMOS technology. The emerging field of spintronic devices use the extra degree of freedom offered by particles' quantum spin, in addition to its charge, allowing for ultra-fast, ultra-low energy computation. The key is the ability to generate and detect spin as it accumulates on a material's...

CNA Staff, Dec 2, 2020 / 08:20 am MT (CNA).- Bishops in Switzerland lamented Wednesday a record exodus of Catholics from the Church in 2019. In a statement after their virtual plenary assembly Dec. 2, the bishops acknowledged new figures showing that last year saw the highest annual number of “church exits” on record. They noted that the statistics, compiled by the Swiss Institute for Pastoral Sociology in St. Gallen, showed that older people were also leaving the Church. “The bishops believe that the pandemic could accelerate this development in the coming months,” the statement said. “The trend is worrying...

ROME — Pope Francis called for a “new social justice” Sunday in which all well-intentioned people will challenge the reigning utopia. Addressing “social justice judges” from the African and American continents via streaming, the pope congratulated them for their commitment to “social rights,” asserting that the very fact that men and women “come together to think about their work and to build the new social justice is, without a doubt, excellent news.” The pontiff, who has been a vocal proponent of a “great reset” after the coronavirus pandemic, urged his hearers to “not lose sight of the distressing picture in...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A move by the Department of Justice to expand how it carries out federal death sentences — to include electrocution, gas or firing squads along with lethal injections –was sharply criticized by Catholic anti-death penalty activists. “The administration’s eleventh-hour push to bring back firing squads and institute additional methods of execution flies in the face of a country that is turning away from the practice of capital punishment,” said Krisanne Vaillancourt Murphy, executive director of Catholic Mobilizing Network, who called the move “yet another blatant affront to the dignity of life.” On Nov. 27, the Justice Department...
