Mayor Bill de Blasio defended not paying for COVID-19 testing at the city’s Catholic schools on Tuesday. The Archdiocese of New York filed a lawsuit last month arguing that state law required City Hall to fund coronavirus screening. While on-site testing is being provided at public schools, Catholic officials said they are being shut out. Asked about the ongoing case on Tuesday, de Blasio contended that city lawyers have a differing view of the state law. The city is appealing a ruling last week by Justice Wayne Ozzi of the state Supreme Court that they must furnish and fund testing...

I cannot post the link or excerpt it here. So here is the summary of the article. It is on the Denver 9 News website. ********** Government officials are already discussing if it is legal to force vaccinate people who refuse it. They also mentioned employers requiring that their employees be vaccinated as well. I predict if a law doesn't exist, they will pass one or our governor will issue an edict, and like masks as a precedent, the vaccine will be mandated for all. There may be a religious exclusion however the way churches have been treated lately, maybe...

After Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) got away with ignoring the US Supreme Court's rebuke of his violation of religious liberty, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif) has decided he, too, will ignore the Court. "I understand that the Court thinks they are doing the right thing, but let me point out that our Constitution is set up to protect life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness," the Governor recalled. "In this list life comes before liberty. In fact, without life there is no chance for liberty. By cracking down on church attendance I am saving the lives of millions of Californians. The sacrifice...

Attorney Sidney Powell says there’s plenty of time for President Donald Trump’s legal team to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. “With the fraud case, the Dec. 8 deadline doesn’t apply,” Powell said Friday during an appearance on Newsmax TV’s “Stinchfield” in reference to the “safe harbor” deadline that frees a state from further challenge if it resolves all disputes and certifies its voting results. “We have at least until Dec. 14,” she said. “We might file more suits. The court in Michigan or Wisconsin today just gave us a great order recognizing that. These are not pure...

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf said on Dec. 4 that there’s “absolutely no reason” for the state legislators to call a special session to resolve election issues. “We had a free and fair election and now it’s time to move on,” Wolf, a Democrat, wrote on Twitter. On Dec. 3, Republican state legislators in the Keystone State called on Wolf to convene a special session to swear in new members and “organize immediately in order to be actively engaged in continued oversight of this election to ensure the integrity of the process.” The Pennsylvania 2020 legislative session ended on Nov. 30...

The Michigan appeals court turned down an appeal Friday from President Donald Trump's campaign in a challenge to how absentee ballots were handled in Detroit and other issues. In a brief order, the court said the lawsuit fails because Michigan's election results, including Joe Biden's 154,000-vote victory over Trump, were certified on Nov. 23, a week before the campaign filed an appellate brief. The court said the president's only recourse was a recount, but that has passed, too. “Because plaintiff failed to follow the clear law in Michigan relative to such matters, their action is moot,” Judge Stephen Borrello said...

Mr. Biden and the Matter of ScandalReaders may recall that during the 2004 presidential campaign, Sen. John Kerry led the Democratic ticket. As a Catholic, Kerry held certain policy views that conflicted with the moral beliefs of his Church. This led to internal tensions among U.S. bishops about how to handle the matter of Holy Communion for Catholic public officials who publicly and persistently diverge from Catholic teaching on issues like abortion. At the time, Washington’s then-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, along with Pittsburgh’s Bishop Donald Wuerl, had very different views from my own regarding how to proceed. I believed then, and...

The SSPX, Church Militant, and LifeSite: a responseLifeSite journalists have conducted dozens of interviews, acquired court documents and police records, spoken to victims, spoken to priests of the Society, and chronicled their findings meticulously.December 4, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Dear LifeSite readers, we have received many responses regarding our initial coverage of allegations of sexual abuse within the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X. What has been most disturbing in all this is the reaction from Church Militant. We have been called “frauds” by Michael Voris, and this is particularly sad as I consider him a friend. I’ll address these concerns...

Mainstream media and social media legal “scholars” have been celebrating a decision by Justice Samuel Alito. After accepting U.S. Congressman Mike Kelly’s petition challenging the results of the presidential election, Justice Alito set a deadline of December 9th for the state to respond. It’s a conspicuous date since the so-called “Safe Harbor” date for picking electors is December 8th. This has been interpreted by nearly everyone as an indication the Supreme Court does not want to get involved with the election shenanigans, and that very well may be the case. But in this particularly scenario, it would behoove a reluctant...

Haven’t seen anyone in conservative media reporting on @sendavidperdue saying how much he looks forward to doing deals with President Biden. And how much easier deals will be without @realDonaldTrump in the way. Seems like this is a big story. https://twitter.com/Cernovich/status/1335035409357631489
