On Friday, 76 of 141 Republican representatives in Pennsylvania sent a letter asking Congress asking them to reject the state’s 20 electors, appointed by Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf, who would be voting for Joe Biden. The representatives also asked for an independent prosecutor and a review of the agency that oversees elections. The letter pointed to the fact that Governor Wolf has repeatedly undermined election protections in the state. “For these reasons,” they wrote to the state’s Congressional delegation. “We the undersigned members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly urge you to object … to the Electoral College votes received from...

A District Court judge in Carson City on Friday ruled against an attempt by President Donald Trump’s campaign to overturn Nevada’s presidential election results, saying there was insufficient evidence to support fraud accusations. Judge James Russell issued his order after hearing several hours of argument from attorneys representing both Trump and President-elect Joe Biden’s campaigns on Thursday. “The contestants failed to meet their burden to provide credible and relevant evidence to substantiate any of the grounds set forth in (Nevada’s election contest statute) to contest the November 3, 2020 general election,” Russell wrote to close his 35-page order. Russell ruled...

The election of 2020 is perhaps the most bizarre affair in modern American history; not since the post Civil War turmoil of reconstruction and the election of 1876 have we seen the nation divided so completely along ideological lines. With the Republican party suffering from corruption allegations and public sentiment shifting against the federal occupation, the Democrats were gaining massive ground and a Democratic sweep was thought to be imminent. However, there were reports of ballot box fraud on BOTH sides of the aisle; in many voting districts the counted number of votes exceeded the number of people (often on...

Caddy: “Try heaven, you’ve already moved most of the earth.” Golfer: “Do you think my game is improving?” Caddy: “Yes sir, you miss the ball much closer now. Golfer: “Do you think I can get there with a 5 iron?” Caddy: “Eventually.” Golfer: “You’ve got to...

A federal judge on Friday ordered the Trump administration to fully restore an Obama-era initiative that protects undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children from deportation, requiring officials to open the program to new applicants for the first time since 2017. Judge Nicholas Garaufis of the U.S. District Court in Brooklyn instructed the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to post a public notice by Monday that states the department will accept and adjudicate Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) petitions from immigrants who qualify for the program but are not currently enrolled in it. Garaufis also instructed officials to...

Why is he asking William Barr of all people for information about an ongoing investigation? Barr hasn't even been conducting the investigation. Bigg's request suggests to me that he's hoping Barr will make another broad public-fooling statement about inclusive findings relating to an investigation that he hasn't even been conducting.

The New York Times asked 700 epidemiologists to describe their COVID-19 habits, how their thinking has changed since the pandemic began, and when they think it will be safe for normal life to resume. Dismayingly, several answered that last question with a resounding never. "I expect that wearing a mask will become part of my daily life, moving forward, even after a vaccine is deployed," Amy Hobbs, a research associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, told The Times. Marilyn Tseng, an assistant professor at California Polytechnic State University, said life would never revert to the way...

FDA regulators are wasting precious time in greenlighting a COVID vaccine as more than 2,000 Americans are dying each day....... Pfizer submitted data detailing the safety and effectiveness of its vaccine on Nov. 22. But rather than immediately convening experts, the FDA scheduled a review meeting on Dec. 10, almost three weeks later.....So what is the FDA doing for three weeks? As a Johns Hopkins scientist who has conducted more than 100 clinical studies and reviewed thousands more from the scientific community at large, I can assure you that the agency’s review can be done within 24 to 48 hours...

Members of the far-left ‘Squad’ fired back at Barack Obama after the former President criticized “snappy” slogans like “defund the police” as a losing political argument. Obama made the comments during a Snapchat interview which aired Wednesday morning. “You lost a big audience the minute you say it, which makes it a lot less likely that you’re actually going to get the changes you want done,” said Obama. “Do you want to actually get something done, or do you want to feel good among the people you already agree with?” he chastised. Squad members Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Ayanna Pressley...

A federal appeals court has thrown out the 16-year prison sentence for a suburban Chicago man convicted in a terrorist bombing plot, saying the judge paid only “lip service” to the seriousness of the crime and overplayed the defendant’s immaturity at the time the FBI caught him in the sting. The ruling Tuesday by the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sends the case of Adel Daoud back to the district court for resentencing, marking yet another twist in an unusual terrorism case that began more than nine years ago when Daoud was just 17.... “We do not see how...

In a bizarre video retweeted Tuesday by President Donald Trump, a sinister-looking Randy Quaid is seen in a closeup with flashing lights illuminating his bearded face as he intones, “Fox News daytime ratings have completely collapsed.” Did the actor, who posted his proclamation nearly two weeks ago, know what he was talking about? Fox’s daytime viewership dropped 32 percent from the two weeks prior to Election Day to the two weeks after, the Nielsen company said. The post-election, weekday average daytime viewership of 1.63 million was roughly equivalent to that of CNN (1.68 million) and MSNBC (1.71 million). CNN was...
