Six people were stabbed during a late-night melee inside a Carol Stream apartment Tuesday, police said.
Police were dispatched about 11 p.m. to the apartment in the Wellington Place complex on Quail Run Court for a report of a stabbing.
Once there, police reported a "chaotic scene in which several people had been stabbed."
Carol Stream paramedics took multiple people to Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield to be treated for their wounds, police said. None of the injuries were life-threatening, Police Chief William Holmer said.
According to police, a 34-year-old man who lives in the apartment was attacked by family and friends of his girlfriend, who also lives in the apartment.
"In an attempt to defend himself, the man stabbed six individuals while they hit and kicked him," police officials stated in a news release.

73.08% of the population is White In Naperville 5.00% of the population is Black In Naperville 17.82% of the population is Asian.
There is another burb close to Naperville called Bolingbrook. 49.82% of the population is White In Bolingbrook 19.88% of the population is Black In Bolingbrook 11.18% of the population is Asian.
There are no lily white affluent suburbs in Chicago area anymore. When I left Illinois in 1997, may be the whitest burb was Cicero populated with blue collar whites mostly.

No kidding. The happiest moment for me was to sell my snow-blower machine when departing Chicagoland for Northern California. But CA had better weather but horrible taxes. So lasted there barely a year and moved to Clark county in WA state, a solid red county at the time. No state income tax alone saved us enough money to afford joining a private golf club.
I think it has a lot more to do with sociology than genetics.

Not hardly. (Seems like anywhere in Illinois is “Chicago region”.)
In a different county and 35 miles or so west of Chicago.
Wheaton to the south. Bloomingdale(among others) to the North. West Chicago to the west. Glendale Heights to the east.
The “disturbance” area is close.
The Complex has 18 6-flats. I don’t know if it’s section 8. The Complex has multi-cultural inhabitants...mostly hispanic.
Defund the knife companies.
