Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers claims the state cannot enforce the Constitution regarding Electors, and won’t commit to calling a legislative hearing. Speaker Bowers was one of the top Arizona legislators who on Friday called for an immediate and “expeditious” forensic audit of the Dominion voting machines and software used in Maricopa County, due to concerns that the machines may have been used to assist in massive voter fraud.

However, following the publication of that statement, Bowers came out with one of his own, claiming that “the rule of law” forbids the overturning of certified election results, which Arizona has already done, even if there was clear evidence of voter fraud.
“The Trump team made claims that the election was tainted by fraud, but presented only theories, not proof,” Bowers said in the statement. “If such evidence existed, the Arizona Legislature simply couldn’t do what is being asked,” referring to calls for the Arizona Legislature to take control of the state’s Electoral College votes, claiming it would require a bipartisan supermajority to even call a special session to begin to contest it.

He argued that current Arizona law gives the power to voters to decide who wins the election. “The law was aimed at ensuring that Arizona’s electors would remain faithful to the vote of the people,” Speaker Bowers claimed, saying that “nothing in the US Constitution or the decisions of the US Supreme Court even suggests that the Arizona Legilsature could retroactively appoint different electors who would cast their ballots for different candidates.”

I think President Trump is going to have to do this on his own (supported by the 'Deplorables'), because the Republicans in elected office are either compromised, crooked, or cowards.
There is a reason why State Legislatures shouldn’t be allowed to revert to selecting the State’s Senators....
This person has read the Constitution or the Federal laws that describe what is possible.
the whole point being made is because of fraud, the current results are not the true will of the voting people.
phucking coward liars
I meant “hasn’t.”
Fear
What a coward. The legislature has *the* last word on such matters. Especially if it needs to be corrected.
The states all got the memo. Disgusting.
What are the people of Arizona going to do with people like this... oh yes, wait until the next election and vote him out?! That’ll show them!
In the end, it seems like the people of AZ, PA,....etc were just too quite over the past month.
Trump is not the Republican party’s president.
He is OUR president - the people’s president.
To the Republican Party, he is a bump in their road, the turd in their punchbowl. He gets in the way of their accumulation of power and money.
And I mean almost the entire party. Kemp, Raffensberger, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, and on and on and on.
There are a few who really support him, but they are few and far between. They are putting no effort into helping him now.
People are being deprived of their civil rights.
A certified fraud.

Bower's arguments are dumb. Every single one of them. That's three paragraphs of utter stupidity.
A state legislature is not a department of the federal government.

This election’s December 8 and 14 deadlines for the selection of Electors, the assembly of the Electoral College, and the tallying of its votes, respectively, are not only elements of of a 72-year old federal statute but also have ZERO Constitutional basis.
1h ago: The December 8th and 14th timeline of selecting electors could easily be moved without harm to country; especially when one side is not providing the details we need to verify election results and the other side has evidence that is starting to flow...

The state legislatures and courts are all gutless cowards and they’re going to boot it up stairt (SCOTUS). Because they are afraid to piss off half of their state and admit to the corruptions by acknowledging that fraud turned their election into a joke. They may think it, but they’re gonna let someone else do anything about it.
Our right to, and expecation of, due process, does not include any obligation to accept a force by government that enforces fraud and/or any other unlawful process.
Fraud is not lawful - though “legal experts” insist on its utility for their own convenience.
