Georgians are outraged, and rightly so....

When Trump Derangement Syndrome forces someone who is a joke writer to quit her job, that in itself is great joke material. What is not a joke is that the head writer of NBC's Tonight Show, Rebecca Drysdale, really is quitting her job and placing a lot of the blame for her departure at the feet of President Donald Trump. The basis of her departure could be far funnier than anything Drysdale has ever written as revealed in Thursday's Variety, "‘The Tonight Show’ Head Writer Rebecca Drysdale Exits, Also Says She’ll ‘Never Work on Another Trump Sketch’."

Republican surrogates for President Donald Trump resumed their legal fight Monday to try to stop the vote count in key battleground states, including Pennsylvania and Michigan, but faced long odds given the Electoral College tally and recent court rulings that found no evidence of widespread vote fraud. While some Republican state officials invoked the Trump mantra that only “legal votes” should be counted, others emerged to counter the campaign narrative and urge voters, and perhaps the president, to support the results. “The process has not failed our country in more than 200 years, and it is not going to fail...

Joe Biden announced a proposed coronavirus team Monday for his new administration — and it includes Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, who once wrote that he did not hope to live past the age of 75. Emanuel, the brother of President Barack Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, is known for his role in designing Obamacare. Once mocked as “Dr. Death” in debates over the rationing of end-of-life care, Emanuel wrote in 2014 that “living too long” was a state to be avoided.

Ever since the rise of the Islamic State (ISIS), there’s been rising alarm regarding the future for Christians in the Middle East. A Catholic priest who recently returned to his village in northern Iraq after six years in Rome described what he found as “shocking,” but doubled down on the need for Christians to survive. Father Karam Shamasha left the town of Telskuf in the Nineveh Plains headed to Rome back in 2014, only weeks after ISIS conquered northern Iraq, historically the cradle of Christianity in the country. “Our presence is a salt in this region,” he said. “Our presence...

This morning, President-elect Biden announced that his coronavirus task force would include Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, chair of the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania. In a 2014 essay in The Atlantic, Emanuel, explained why he hoped to die at age 75, and why he finds the idea of living past that date to be morally problematic: "Here is a simple truth that many of us seem to resist: living too long is also a loss. It renders many of us, if not disabled, then faltering and declining, a state that may not be worse...

Amid what he describes as a "scattershot" approach to proving vote fraud, talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh said Monday "his dream" would be for Trump to appoint an "election czar" to consolidate the evidence, communicate daily with the American people and help form a targeted strategy for preserving the integrity of the 2020 presidential election. Limbaugh insisted that while Biden "think's he's been elected president," he's not. "There hasn't been a certified vote yet. Media networks do not determine who presidents are, and he is not president yet," he told his listeners. Limbaugh said the election czar would employ staff that...

House Democrats will reportedly continue investigating President Donald Trump even after he leaves the White House, should he concede the 2020 presidential election. The geniuses at the Lincoln Project who graciously lost elections my entire adult life are coming back the save the Republican Party. They voted for expanding abortion laws, a return to Obama-era foreign policies, higher taxes, and the Green New Deal to teach us all a lesson, I guess. Or because they have no principles whatsoever. And they are just mad we didn’t hand the crown to another candidate, like Jeb Bush, who would have lost graciously in 2016. Former GOP Chairman Michael Steele, a member of the Lincoln Project, seemed somewhat triggered by an article at our sister site...

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last week, in an op-ed for Kentucky Today, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) discussed his commitment to standing up for religious freedom at home and abroad through legislation and advocacy. Most recently, in September, Dr. Paul introduced S. 4685 to prevent the federal government from sending American taxpayer money to any nation that imposes a death sentence or penalty of life imprisonment on Christians or people of other faiths for expressing their faith. In the piece, Dr. Paul says that “in my years leading the fight for religious freedom, I have encountered far too many others in...

Multiple media outlets are reporting today that President Trump has just fired Mark Esper, the Defense Secretary and a known deep stater who opposes Trump’s authority. He is being replaced by Christopher Miller, Director of the National Counterterrorism Center. Voting machines used in Michigan’s Wayne County appeared to have been connected to the internet, according to a sworn affidavit signed by a poll watcher. At approximately 11 p.m. on Nov. 3, Patrick Colbeck observed an icon identifying an active internet connection on the screens of the computers used to tabulate and adjudicate ballots. “All it takes to confirm the connectivity status of a Windows computer is to roll the cursor over the LAN connection icon in the bottom right comer of the display,” Colbeck’s sworn affidavit states. “When there is no internet connection, a unique icon showing a cross-hatched...

After months of being told the economy was a long way off from recovery, the recent data in job gains for the month of October caused Axios to rethink some of those gloom-and-doom predictions. Of course, now with the liberal media declaring the election over, it would make sense for them to concede just how formidable President Donald Trump’s economy really was. As Axios tells it, “This week America witnessed a forecasting failure of almost unprecedented magnitude.” The outlet continued: “October's unemployment rate came in at 6.9%, after dozens of the best-paid and most experienced economic forecasters in the world...

SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Democrat Megan Godfrey has been elected to a second term in the Arkansas State House. Godfrey is the ESL co-director at Fayetteville Schools and previously worked as an ESL teacher for Springdale Schools. Her priorities for her second term include rent relief assistance, public health, and economic development. “I think that one of the issues that we’ve seen, the most important all across the state of Arkansas, but especially in District 89, is just how significantly COVID-19 has hit some of our communities,” Godfrey told 40/29 News in a pre-election interview. “In particular the Hispanic and Marshallese...

This illustration of Jupiter's moon Europa shows how the icy surface may glow on its nightside, the side facing away from the Sun. Variations in the glow and the color of the glow itself could reveal information about the composition of ice on Europa's surface. Credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech ======================================================================= As the icy, ocean-filled moon Europa orbits Jupiter, it withstands a relentless pummeling of radiation. Jupiter zaps Europa's surface night and day with electrons and other particles, bathing it in high-energy radiation. But as these particles pound the moon's surface, they may also be doing something otherworldly: making Europa glow in the...
