I was just reading how there were more registered voters in Wayne County than eligible voters. I did the math myself: 1,410,398 registrations. Compare that to... 1,749,100 residents. But U.S. Census data says 23.6% of these residents are under 18. So that leaves... 1,336,312 adult residents. Here the math gets fuzzy. Based on the portion of immigrants who are non-citizens and the portion of Wayne County who are immigrants, it would seem about 4% of Wayne County of those residents are non-citizens, but I don't know how those are distributed among age groups, etc. So my best guess leaves... 1,282,860...
