THE HELSINKI COURT OF APPEAL has upheld the verdict given by the district court that a man has to pay alimony for a child which is not biologically his, and was the result of his wife cheating on him with another man. The man’s wife had given birth to the child in 2014 but it was only two years later that he found out that he was not the biological father of the child. This resulted in the couple’s divorce and the man applied for abolishment of paternity, which was not granted. The court had argued that he had applied...

teve Bannon: In the next 24-48 hours are you going to bring forward potential other information related to non-financial criminal activity? Rudy Giuliani: We’re going to do both. There will be more financial criminal activity, more proof on the subjects we already have and even bigger deals that are eye-popping. And some personal conduct that has to be brought to the attention of the public to make sure people are safe. And that has to be handled appropriately before it can be discussed. Steve Bannon: Do you believe that personal activity is criminal? Rudy Giuliani: I have no doubt it...

Newsom said, “California, today, is launching now, more formally, a Scientific Safety Review, a workgroup of 11 individuals, experts in their field. These are top health experts that will independently review any FDA-approved vaccines. The question I often get is, are you going to take someone’s word for it, as it relates to vaccines? Of course, we don’t take anyone’s word for it. We will do our own, independently-reviewed process,...

The Trump campaign wants to convince you that electing Joe Biden would quickly put Kamala Harris in charge of the country. No evidence exists of such a plan. But day after day, his backers portray Harris, the first woman of color to run on a major party’s presidential ticket, as a dangerous radical ready to benefit from a Nancy Pelosi plot to sideline Biden. “Pelosi’s plan: Remove Biden if Elected and Install Kamala,” says a Thursday video from the Trump campaign. “Pelosi’s plan: Help Kamala Remove Biden from office.” “He can’t even function to complete a sentence...This is basically Kamala...

While most of the attention on Hunter Biden has focused on his dealings in Ukraine and China when his father was in the White House, he also cashed in on cushy jobs and sweetheart deals throughout his dadÂ’s long Senate career. Hunter Biden profited from his fatherÂ’s political connections long before he struck questionable deals in countries where Joe Biden was undertaking diplomatic missions as vice president. In fact, virtually all the jobs listed on his resume going back to his first position out of college, which paid a six-figure salary, came courtesy of the former six-term senatorÂ’s donors, lobbyists,...

Republicans on Monday night stalled a move by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to close down the Senate until after the presidential election as the body's top Democrat continues to protest the effort to confirm Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett before the end of the month. The vote on a motion to adjourn, forced by Schumer, D-N.Y., followed another roll call vote in which Schumer forced the Senate to consider the Trump administration's softening of a banking regulation regarding low-income borrowers. Republicans expect more such procedural roadblocks from Schumer as the Senate gets closer to confirming Barrett, likely early-to-mid-next...

The last week was a rough one for the fact-check industry, not simply because they demonstrably screwed up a series of very public decisions, but because those decisions exposed them for what they’ve always been: tools for censoring conservatives.Twitter followed Facebook into the corporate grey zone Wednesday, not even waiting for an “official†media fact-check before banning links to — and accounts associated with — a New York Post story that appears to show Biden family corruption. By evening, Twitter had suspended not just the 3rd largest newspaper in the country, but also the Trump campaign’s account as well...

TUESDAY OF THE TWENTY-NINTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME LUKE 12:35-38 Friends, in today’s Gospel, Jesus tells the parable of the faithful servant who the master finds vigilant on his return from a wedding. He is calling us to be vigilant for the Second Coming. Though Jesus came and fulfilled the expectations of his people, nevertheless we still wait. The liturgy states it clearly: “As we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.” And in Eucharistic Prayer IV, we find, “As we await his coming in glory . . .” The Creed says, “He will come...

October 16, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – More than a dozen Catholic cardinals, bishops, and priests have spoken out strongly against the pro-abortion presidential ticket of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, not only because of their assault against the preborn but also because of their positions on marriage and religious liberty. Although Catholic prelates cannot officially endorse a candidate for the upcoming election, they are able to form the consciences of the faithful by highlighting the most important issues and moral principles to consider while casting their vote. Sometimes they also point out how certain policies or party platforms relate to...

The Intercept co-founder Glenn Greenwald called House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) “the most pathological liar in all American politics” during an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight. Discussing the Hunter Biden laptop controversy, which Schiff has claimed without evidence is part of a Russian disinformation campaign, Carlson said, “I’ve seen a fair bit of the material on this laptop and the response by the media and particularly by the so-called intel community strikes me as much more threatening to America than anything on this laptop.” Greenwald responded, “I couldn’t agree more, Tucker,” before adding, “First of all, Adam Schiff...

Remember when media outlets like BBC were casting shade on President Donald Trump for placing the blame for the out-of-control West Coast wildfires on forest mismanagement? It looks like NBC News just admitted that the president may have been right about forest mismanagement. Yet, the outlet still tried to pin some of the blame on climate change. NBC News published a story admitting that “Decades of mismanagement led to choked forests — now it's time to clear them out, fire experts say.” NBC News immediately tried to throw the eco-spin on their own admission: “as climate change continues to fuel...
