So with the huge caveat that this election is like none other.....

the orthodox analysis (which probably doesn’t apply AT ALL) would say that this incumbent president will likely win, though it will be close

sort of a 2004

does not suggest a 1984, or a 2012

again, though....this election is like no other, so I’m not even sure why I just typed that.......

This election is all about turnout. Red shirts & Blue shirts have already decided whose team they are on. Now it is about who shows up and I saw Red shirts will come to play in person and not have their mail in ballot voided because they didn’t fill it out right

Trump is one point ahead of where Obama was during at this point in the 2012 election cycle, per this poll

That may prove it to you but it doesn’t sound like you need much proof. a few hundred thousand of us on Staten island support Trump just as much as you guys.

40% of a state supporting Trump is still a heck of a lot of people.

And if you think everyone voting for Biden wants to fight a war you really have not been out of whatever state you live in that often.

For the first time in this election, using just the www.statespoll.com adjusted polls in the battleground states in my Presidential election model, President Trump has a 52% probability of getting 270 or more Electoral votes.
