We're literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes!" LeBron says (which is a weird thing for one of the most rich, famous, respected athletes on the planet to say). Well that same LeBron just added another castle to his collection. He paid $36.8 MILLION for a Hollywood mansion once owned by Katharine Hepburn. Who even knows how many houses this guy has now. All this oppression sure is paying off for him!

Speaker Nancy Pelosi raised the possibility that she might become acting president if neither President Trump nor Democratic nominee Joe Biden wins enough electoral votes to declare victory in the election on or after Nov. 3. Pelosi, a California Democrat, told reporters Thursday that she is preparing House Democrats for a potential role in determining the winner with a vote by each state delegation. But if a majority still does not emerge for either Trump or Biden, Pelosi said, “then it goes into another range where the speaker becomes the [president]. It’s complicated after that.” It is rare for the...

In 2016, Steve Scully, the moderator of the next Presidential debate, posted, "No, Not Trump, Not Ever" and a link to an article expressing that sentiment that was written by notorious Never Trumper David Brooks.

9/29/20 First Presidential Debate Moderator: WALLACE (starting a question to Trump) But in Obama’s – you talk about the economy booming. It turns out that in Obama’s final three years as president, more jobs were created – a million and a half more jobs – than in the first three years of your presidency. 10/19/16 Third Presidential Debate Moderator: Wallace (starting a question to Clinton) Secretary Clinton, I want to pursue your plan because in many ways, it is similar to the Obama stimulus plan in 2009, which has led to the slowest GDP growth since 1949. Guest piece by Larry Schweikart As some of you know, more than a year ago I was asked—assuming Trump won reelection—who would be his successor in 2024. I guess I stunned the host when I answered “Kanye West.” And I then added, “I guess his opponent would have to be a similar type celebrity, say Dwayne The Rock Johnson.” So far, Kanye has not inspired confidence in his political abilities. He started his independent run so late as to miss out on key states such as Florida and Texas; his team staggered into the Wisconsin offices to register 17 seconds...

James S. Brady Press Briefing Room11:22 A.M. EDTMS. MCENANY: Well, good morning, everyone. Three years ago today, 58 people lost their lives and hundreds more were wounded in the horrific Las Vegas music festival shooting. That was three years ago today. On behalf of the President and his administration, our hearts continue to break for the victims and their families. They are in our prayers today.Fulfilling his Article 2, Section 2 obligation and following well-established precedent, President Trump nominated an eminently qualified candidate for the Supreme Court: Judge Amy Coney Barrett.Judge Barrett is extremely well qualified: She graduated summa cum...

Here is a picture of the daughter of the 2nd debate's moderator Steve Scully. She is shown with Biden in this 2016 picture. Any normal person would put their hand around a child's arm or around around the shoulder. Steve Scully even posted this picture on Twitter - creepy and sick! https://twitter.com/SteveScully/status/739143342634700800

Our sister paper Sunday published a heartfelt apology for its past unconscious bias regarding racial inequality. It’s an important moment of recognition for the Los Angeles Times, whose standing as a liberal voice has been clouded by the prejudices of its past and opportunities it has missed to address inequities that continue to this day. America is built on great ideals and great failings; our institutions, our traditions and our leaders are complicit in the good and the bad. The long accounting in the Times made that clear Sunday. The collective guilt of the community sits heavily in its leading...

The Republican Jewish Coalition on Thursday announced a $3.5 million TV ad campaign targeting Jewish voters in the key swing state of Florida. The commercials will run in the Miami, Broward and Palm Beach counties in south Florida, where roughly half a million Jews live. “The three most important battleground states are Florida, Florida and Florida,” RJC executive director Matt Brooks told The Times of Israel. “As we saw with the victory by [Florida] Governor Ron DeSantis, an increase in the Jewish vote can have a significant impact in Republicans winning,” he said. Desantis edged out his Democratic challenger in...

After being pelted with a series of questions about President Trump's condemnation of white supremacy Thursday, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany berated the press for their lack of interest in accurately covering violence perpetrated by leftist organization Antifa. "[President Trump] wants to prosecute the KKK as domestic terrorists and make lynching a federal crime. Again all of that lost on the media as they misreport, take out of context, ignore the verbatim words of this President when he denounced white supremacy yesterday, when he denounced it at the debate, when he's denounced it more than any president in modern...

A Nevada judge approved an $800 million settlement on Wednesday between MGM Resorts International and its insurers and the families of the victims of a deadly mass shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas in Oct. 2017. Under the settlement’s terms, MGM Resorts will make payouts to more than 4,400 relatives and victims of the shooting. The judge’s decision finalizes an agreement that was announced earlier this month.

Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said she resented anyone claiming President Donald Trump was not a racist on Thursday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Live.” In a video clip from lastnight’s Minnesota rally, Trump said, “What is going on with Omar? I have been reading the reports for two years about how corrupt and crooked she is. Then she tells us how to run our country. Can you believe it? How the hell did Minnesota elect her?”

“Our data from the Duluth Rally shows @realDonaldTrump is still bringing in tons of new voters,” she said, listing the statistics: 60% of attendees were NOT Republican 20.9% were Democrat 17.2% did not vote in 2016 8.4% have not voted in last 4 elections

by Samantha Foster Democrats and Never Trump Republicans went nuts after Trump continued the dominance in debates he showed in 2016 over Hillary Clinton, this time over Joe Biden. This despite the fact that Chris Wallace worked with Biden against Trump, cutting Trump off a stunning 72 times (to only 15 for Biden) and repeatedly saving Biden when Trump had him on the ropes. No fight is "fair" -- unless Trump loses. So now Democrats and their media allies are demanding that the left-leaning Commission on Presidential Debates change the rules to CENSOR the President whenever the moderator wishes...

The Associated Press Stylebook was amended this week to discourage the use of the word “riot” to describe violent protests, instead expanding the definition of “protest” to include violent demonstrations. “Use care in deciding which term best applies: A riot is a wild or violent disturbance of the peace involving a group of people. The term riot suggests uncontrolled chaos and pandemonium,” said the AP Stylebook, which sets style guidelines followed by many mainstream media publications. “Focusing on rioting and property destruction rather than underlying grievance has been used in the past to stigmatize broad swaths of people protesting against...

Democrats get away with awful things. Hillary Clinton left four Americans to die in Benghazi and put America's state secrets on an unprotected server, but she's still tossing back drinks on the cocktail party circuit. Four years after Obama and his minions tried to throw an election and then embarked on a coup effort, they're still getting the big bucks from Netflix and book tours. Our government may be useless when it comes to justice, but private people are pushing back. The latest example comes from super-attorney Lin Wood, who plans to sue Joe Biden for running an ad accusing...

Kayleigh hosted a news presser earlier today. As far as I can see, notice of the presser was not posted here on FR. But the press was over the top in asking gotcha questions, etc. For FReepers who did not see this, it's worth your time. It got quite heated. Link.

Fox News’ Chris Wallace had his hands full during Tuesday night’s presidential debate, but many say the veteran anchor could’ve done a better job moderating the debate fairly. On Wednesday, the Daily Caller’s Greg Price posted several videos on Twitter highlighting the moments where Wallace appeared to press President Trump on several sensitive issues yet refused to apply the same standard when questioning Biden. One of those instances included Wallace refusing to press Biden on whether the Democrats intend to expand the number of justices on the Supreme Court. Wallace asked Biden if Democrats plan to eliminate the Senate filibuster...
