Unlike many other Democrats, he takes its side, reliably. The Democratic Party has always been weak on national security when it comes to China. But some credit is due when it comes to China’s atrocious human-rights record and its theft of American jobs. For a generation, prominent Democrats loudly criticized Beijing on these fronts, well before Donald Trump helped form a new national consensus on China. Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi have been longstanding China trade hawks, for instance. Even a socialist like Bernie Sanders has been a reliable critic. And Joe Biden? Well, he’s on China’s side — not...

After weeks of ignoring testimony from doctors speaking about the positive effects of hydroxychloroquine as it pertains to treating coronavirus patients, and after ignoring at least one peer-reviewed study that demonstrated these same effects, members of the left-wing media are in an uproar over a single non-peer-reviewed study that belies these prior findings.“A malaria drug widely touted by President Donald Trump for treating the new coronavirus showed no benefit in a large analysis of its use in U.S. veterans hospitals. There were more deaths among those given hydroxychloroquine versus standard care,†the Associated Press reported Tuesday, citing a new study.However,...

Help! I need recommendations for fun reading material. I really enjoy mysteries and have been re-reading some Agatha Christie books, because so many of the newer books are PC or extremely gory. Also, I prefer my reading material to be clean. Humor books are also good, as well as real crime and crime solving methods, as long as it's not too hair-raising. Fiction or non-fiction, as long as it's entertaining. Are there mysteries out there where the detective has at least somewhat conservative values? Are there ones set in the past that don't have feminist females entirely out of character...

Another major pork production plant is shutting down over a spike in cases of the coronavirus, further straining the U.S. meat supply chain and raising fears of potential shortages. Tyson Foods said it is closing its Waterloo, Iowa plant, where it has 2,800 employees and processes 19,500 hogs a day. It is Tyson’s largest pork plant and represents about 4 percent of the nation’s pork processing capacity. “Despite our continued efforts to keep our people safe while fulfilling our critical role of feeding American families, the combination of worker absenteeism, covid-19 cases and community concerns has resulted in our decision...

Joe Biden has always billed his decades-long stretch in the swamp as "experience." His presidential election team has put him out as the steady hand, the familiar reassuring standard-bearer of business as usual, the competent guy who can handle a crisis. So what does it say about Joe Biden's vaunted leadership in a crisis that a creature as vile as Osama bin Laden thought it would serve his interests best to have him at the helm of the U.S. as a sure way of creating chaos instead of Barack Obama? Here's the Fox News report: Usama bin Laden wanted to...

When news of the Wuhan virus broke, most were content to call it what is was- the Chinese Wuhan Virus. Not long after China began its propaganda war as means of distracting from the truth. The left wing democrat-run media soon joined in: Over the weekend, some members of the American media shared this story with indignation and scorn. How dare the Trump administration devote resources and effort to a 'blame game' with China over the global pandemic? The strategy was cast as a cynical ploy to deflect responsibility and scapegoat a foreign nation -- probably with insidious racial implications, to boot....

A federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a suit by former “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett alleging he was the victim of a malicious prosecution over his allegedly staged hate crime attack in January 2019. U.S. District Court Judge Virginia Kendall ruled that Smollett’s claim against the city of Chicago and several police officers cannot go forward now that he’s been re-indicted by a special Cook County grand jury on charges stemming from the same incident. In her 15-page opinion, Kendall wrote that if the new criminal case — brought by special prosecutor Dan Webb in February — were to end in...

Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum graduated from an Oakland, California-based training school for progressive revolutionaries that has spawned a list of activists who have gone on to become the who’s who of the far-left leadership world, with many taking senior positions at organizations financed by billionaire George Soros. In scores of cases, graduates of the Rockwood Leadership Institute founded or directed notorious Soros-financed activist groups, such as Black Lives Matter, Media Matters for America, MoveOn.org and the Tides Foundation, one of the nation’s largest funders of progressive groups. Soros’s own Open Society Foundations sent top staff to Rockwood for training....

Jim Bopp, Jr. filed two lawsuits in federal court this week — one in Nevada and one in Virginia — to stop officials in those states from mailing out ballots to everyone on the voter rolls, not just those who request them. “I don’t use the word ‘voters,’” he says, “I use the word ‘people on the registration rolls’ because many of them are ineligible to vote. They’re not voters. They’re people that are on the registration rolls that are ineligible to vote.” As the COVID-19 pandemic gripped the nation, Democratic officials and activists began pushing states to switch to...

Are we living in the Middle Ages or what? In the Middle Ages people had no resort except to be quarantined when they had a deadly contagious disease. But today we have modern medicine so why isn't the media complex promoting the search for modern medicines that can be useful in combating the corona virus? Something is very wrong and very fishy with this story. When a couple of medicines are discussed they are quickly dismissed as Fauci dismissed a medicine that was showing promise. Twenty four/seven we are hearing about washing your hands, wearing masks and keeping distance but...

RUSH: We are very honored, very thrilled to have with us the vice president of the United States, carving out some time for us during what must be the most incredible schedule. Vice President Pence, welcome to the program. Great to have you back with us today. THE VICE PRESIDENT: Thank you, Rush. Good to be back. RUSH: You bet. You know, people have asked me over the course of my many years, “Are you ever gonna run for office?” and I’ve always said, “No, no, no, no desire,” because I wouldn’t want to be in your shoes right now....

Such maneuvers, though routine, have typically stirred outrage in North Korea, which considers them provocative. The secretive, militarized state has yet to issue any official warnings, however, as its 36-year-old head of state has not been seen publicly and is on the minds of the international community.

Confirmed coronavirus cases in New York City are just “the tip of the iceberg,” New York City Health Commissioner Dr. Oxiris Barbot said Thursday, adding that “close to a million” residents have probably been exposed to Covid-19. More than 147,000 people in New York City have so far tested positive for Covid-19, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University. “That really I think is the tip of iceberg for a number of different reasons,” Barbot said at a news briefing. “New Yorkers have been heeding our advice that if they have mild symptoms, at this point in time, when...

Later, photos by the Asbury Park Press showed the agents carrying boxes of supplies into nearby vehicles. Those supplies appeared to be medical supplies. The Lakewood Scoop later reported that it was a misunderstanding and now the FBI is seeking to purchase supplies from legally operating...

RUSH: I’m still responsible for all the protests out there. Despite never having advocated even a one of them. Oh, yeah, we’ve commented on them, but I haven’t advocated a protest. I haven’t given marching orders, because I never do. Yesterday on the New York Times website they have a podcast called The Daily, and Jim Rutenberg… This guy used to be dependable years ago when he first got the gig. This is what he had to say about the protests against the states and the governors and their stay-at-home orders. RUTENBERG: As these protests roll out, they’re becoming a...

I strongly advise you to watch this film. It is a brutal indictment of the environmental movement as organizations run by cynics taking advantage of useful idiots and financed by corporate billions. It illustrates, with painstaking accuracy, the false promise of "green energy," - wind, solar, biomass.

Osteopathic physicians are suing Nevada’s governor and the state’s pharmacy board over their decision to ban the use outside of hospitals of two relatively safe, well-established anti-malarial drugs to treat COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP virus. Reno attorney Joey Gilbert, who filed the lawsuit April 21 in state court in Washoe County, Nevada, said his clients believe that “the doctor and patient relationship is sacred and that the private practitioner is in a better position” to know how to treat a patient than an emergency room physician who is seeing the patient for the first time. The ban...
