As believers who celebrate the joy and glory of the Resurrection of the Lord, we remain aware that as darkness surrounds us, we are blessed to have a President chosen by Our Lord to help us all to emerge into the light. Please include in your prayers, daily, the following important prayer points for President Trump: 1. We must pray that any voices that President Trump is currently receiving counsel from concerning COVID-19 that are not from God would be silenced and exposed.2. We must pray that any agenda, whether it be economic or political that is trying to attach...

There's too much chatter about movies that are "so bad, they're good." These admittedly amusing musings distract from a truly insidious phenomenon: Movies "so good, they're bad." No such creature as "just a movie" exists. We may (believe ourselves to) be capable of separating fact from fiction, but millions of people never will. Take the "Hitler's Pope" canard. It was popularized by, of all things, a Soviet-orchestrated stage play called The Deputy, back in 1963. How many individuals have heard of this play, let alone seen it performed? A few thousand? Yet the Vatican's supposed collusion with the Nazis is...

There’s a moment midway through the film Chinatown (1974) in which the hero, Jake Gittes, hands us a clue—not a clue about the case he’s investigating, the one involving graft and murder in L.A.’s Department of Water and Power, but a more subtextual kind of clue, hinting at the meaning of the film’s enigmatic title. Jake (Jack Nicholson) and his client, Evelyn Mulwray (Faye Dunaway), are standing in her back yard, and she’s prodding him about his life before he became a private eye, when he worked as a cop in Chinatown. What did he do there, she asks?...

ALBANY, Ga. (WTVM) - 1,400 patients have tested positive in Albany at one local hospital, but the good news is out of that number, nearly a fourth of them have completely recovered. According to doctors at Phoebe Putney Health System, medical professionals attribute two drugs to help aid in the recovery process – azithromycin and hydroxychloroquine. Harold Jenkins is just one patient out of the 340 who have made a full recovery from COVID-19 and he was released last week. Jenkins marks one out of the several patients who recovered well enough to be discharged from the hospital. “Just in...

JERUSALEM—Roman authorities are investigating controversial religious leader Jesus of Nazareth for violating the Empire's clear "stay in tomb" order. After crucifying him and laying him in the tomb, Roman guards put Him under strict orders to stay there and not come back, rising victorious over sin and death. ---SNIP--- "Jesus is a dangerous rebel, refusing to bend the knee to Caesar and not abiding by the law of sin and death," said one Roman official. "He clearly broke the law by leaving the tomb, and we're going to be issuing a citation and placing him under mandatory quarantine for these...

The 48-year-old father of three from Richmond, Ky., said he had no doubt that he had reached the end of life. “I was just praying to God and saying that if it is my time, then it’s my time. If not, then use me for something (good),” Campbell said. “I came to grips with it. If it was my time, then it was my time....

South Korea announced its first coronavirus cases around the same time the U.S. did, back in January. Yet, two months later and the U.S. has 50 times more cases and almost 100 times more fatalities. CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta has suggested that that discrepancy is because the U.S. did not act quickly enough on its mitigation efforts. "i think that we acted late, Jake," he told CNN host Jake Tapper on Sunday's "State of the Union."He added that we "did not test adequately," and it allowed the virus to circulate in communities across the country.Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the...

"Fortunately for me, you know, they put me on some meds, the HGQ worked great for me, I will be honest with you there," Campbell said. 'More believers in D.C. than at any other time in modern American history' Members of President Trump's Cabinet who meet weekly to study the Bible now have an extra measure of empathy for the man who leads them each Wednesday morning. Ralph Drollinger made headlines when some media outlets accused him of declaring in one edition of the Bible study notes he prepares each week that the coronavirus pandemic was God's wrath on the nation. Drollinger told WND in an interview he actually was reacting to some Bible teachers making that claim, "trying to get out in front of the...

Black smoke has been seen billowing from China’s first assault carrier in Shanghai. The new Type-075 carrier, which is similar to the U.S. Navy’s America Class assault carriers, is designed to carry helicopters and hovercraft to support amphibious landings. The smoke was reported on Chinese social media platforms earlier today. Images suggest that the fire took hold within the hull of the ship, possibly in the expansive aircraft hanger. Smoke came out of the open aircraft lift near the front of the island superstructure. Smoke also came out of the rear hangar opening. For a time a massive cloud of...

Prayers up for all the families suffering from the impact of this virus. And we're still praying that the spread starts fading with the warmer Spring weather and that an effective treatment and vaccine are developed before the next flu season starts. And we pray that our people are allowed to go back to work very soon and that our economy comes roaring back. Meanwhile, we may be hurt and slowed down somewhat, but we have faith in the long-run that "what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger." God willing, America will survive and we will survive and we...

While President Trump and his administration are working tirelessly to get critical medical supplies and lifesaving equipment to doctors, nurses, hospitals and patients amidst the coronavirus pandemic, guess what Democrats are doing? House Democrats are readying another congressional committee, on the taxpayers' dime, to investigate the president and his response to the national crisis. You read that right. Instead of working shoulder to shoulder with our commander in chief to save lives and resuscitate our economy, serial liar and conspiracy theorist Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and others on the left are plotting against the leader of the free world and...
